Being a local resident to this Ice-Cream shop, I'm a little biased to the fact that they have delicious ice-cream. Yes the wait times are long, but the ice-cream is good. That's why the wait time is long. I wish I could give them a 5 star, however when asked if they could assist in an insurance claim with the footage from their surveillance camera located just outside their doors, I was told it was too much of a hassle to look through the videos for my accident. Even though I have the exact date and time of the accident. I was told they only way they would assist was with police involvement. I was told, they are running a business and don't have time to review the footage. okay, I get that.. but REALLY? How horrible of you as a person not to want to assist someone else during a situation when YOU are the only one who can assist. That's pretty crappy. Now mind you, there is a Planet Fitness a few doors down from them, which was where I was at during this accident, (6:30am otherwise I might have stopped for ice-cream) and they reviewed their footage only to see their camera did not capture the accident as it was just outside of their len, and to call Aztlan Itza, because they would be able to help. I'm seriously disappointed that from one human being to another, this place of business would be like that. I come here all the time for ice-cream. But honestly, I can sacrifice dessert from them just on the fact that they couldn't help out with footage. That's not just bad customer service, that's bad human skills. They seem to get plenty of help, financially, from their customers... but no reciprocation for those same customers. So now, I will have to involve the police, who definitely have better things to do in this Montbello neighborhood, then assist with an insurance claim. Way to be a part of YOUR community Aztlan Itza! Delicious place and friendly service amazing food very good handling COVID safe and amazing Mexico culture

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Price: 5/5 Parking: 5/5 I am ADDICTED to this place and find it as a treat to be here every chance I get when in the Montbello area. Food: The Mexican desserts offered in this little parlor are just so unique and so tasty. I just so happened to stumble into this place as a quick resort to satisfy my sweet tooth and found a joint with such an interesting selection of ethic food. Some examples of desserts I have tried are: Mangoneadas (a frozen mango ice cake with chile and fresh lime), Diablos (a shave ice drink with tamarind and fresh lime), and Mexican Elote (corn with fresh lime, mayo, cheese, butter, and chile). These dishes are very similar to some Filipino food I have had which makes me feel a little more closer to home. *I do wish they provided a menu in English with a description of what the foods are and feel that it would actually be better for their business* Service: There is one woman there in particular who has always provided excellent service and is very nice. She has always taken the time to patiently describe to me what the desserts were even when the parlor was busy (which was a great help since I had no clue by looking at the pictures what ingredients were in some of the desserts). Atmosphere: This place is nothing fancy but is a decent and well kept neveria that stays pretty busy the times that I've went. Most of the customers are Mexican so I'm thinking not too many non-Hispanic people are very familiar with the place OR don't too much care to try anything that "different". There are chairs inside and outside of the restaurant which allows for an ample seating area. The place stays open till about 9pm and seems to get even busier the later that it gets. Price: El cheapo! and easy on your wallet...I can't complain about the prices at all. Parking: There are LOTS of free parking there since it is located in the Chambers Place Shopping Center in Montbello. MY THOUGHTS? It's also a chill little lobby with tables and chairs to sit down. It's a little small and it runs in closed off space so it's not this gigantic ice cream shop. My mom got the Dorinachos they looked so yummy & they were cause I took a bite. I almost ate them all lol.
