Then after moving away grey star reaches out with the same charges. Now I have to fight grey star because they added additional fees after dropping the first fees because again they need more money. This place is pathetic they will attack your wallet at all cost. As far as living my building was roach infested. I told them right away and my response was "sorry". After reading reviews they've known about the issue for a while. Be prepared to pay every fee and avoid the property manger at all cost she treats her employees horribly, she is extremely rude. Verbally telling me as a nurse I should be able to email her during the business day even if I'm working (guess I thought my job was More important than it was) when I responded 1 business day late to her. FYI if your 60 day notice is late (from my experience) prepare for at least a 90% rent increase for ever day it's late. Read your contract too, if you were unaware your 60days was up then they did not properly inform you and you do not owe them that money. This is my honest review. I loved all the workers except for Diedra and the company as a whole is coming after your wallet and will take every cent they can in anyway they can.

During…read moremy tenure, I encountered numerous instances where individuals entered my apartment without my explicit consent, despite my previous warnings expressing my discomfort with such actions. Regrettably, these incidents persisted. In response to these repeated breaches of my privacy, I was compelled to file multiple police reports, including one for burglary due to the damage they caused to my door. Furthermore, I was left without an air conditioning thermostat for approximately three months and a patio door for six months. Even when my apartment flooded, causing significant property damage to my own, I recall that staff or maintenance did not respond the following day. Subsequently, I was presented with a document from Janet in the office, which essentially stated that my apartment had never flooded. She had provided me with a different description of the purpose of the document, but it ultimately amounted to requesting me to claim that my apartment had never flooded, despite the fact that it had . She had deceived me and had to sign a document that was false. that wouldn't be the first time. The situation escalated when the maintenance staff and apartment associates disregarded my property rights by accessing my belongings without my permission. . A particularly egregious incident occurred when the maintenance/staff did not offer assistance to enter my apartment after I had locked myself out. However, when they wanted to gain entry themselves, they disregarded my changed locks and essentially broke into my apartment. I recall a specific incident where I had just left my apartment and, as I was about to go leave the gate , I noticed the maintenance staff entering as I was leaving. Within a matter of minutes, they had already reached my apartment. They explained that they were looking for something and cooling and heating wires in my unit, which I understood to be related to the time of year when I did not have a thermostat. It is concerning that many of the similar instances mentioned in previous reviews that have been removed from the platform. However, there are still numerous similar reviews available. I am not the first person to have experienced these issues, and I believe it is important to raise awareness about this matter. Despite events, these individuals persist in attempting to extract an excessive amount of money from me, even though I was paying more than the amount I had initially stated. The discrepancy between what I paid and what they collected remains unclear, and I am uncertain of their intentions. Nevertheless, they are attempting to charge me an additional 15,000.

If you want to live somewhere where you can walk to places, THIS is the apartment complex for you. There are so many bars, restaurants and breweries at a short walking distance (who needs uber?). Another cool thing is that the Riverwalk is just across from the apartment and you can go anywhere from there. Apartment Complex: I loved my apartment! I seriously loved everything about it; specially the kitchen. The floors, the color of the walls, the light fixtures...everything! Southtown Flats pool area, gym and rooftop are also pretty amazing. Their rooftop has by far one of the best views of the downtown area, and is the best place to watch the NYE fireworks. The pool is also really nice and during the summers Southtown Flats always throws a summer pool party which is pretty cool. Staff: Cecili and Art are the best team! Cecili manages the apartments, and she was always so good and accommodating to us. Art was always super helpful when fixing stuff around the apartment and would always go above and beyond to make sure we were happy. They are honestly the best apartment management team I've ever had! Bad Things: During my time living here someone broke into my car, and this issue happened to a lot of people in the complex. Some folks even had their cars stolen from here. This is definitely an ongoing issues that hasn't stopped and I wish the owners of Southtown Flats would be more understanding of this, and would have more security cameras around the complex. There's just not much the police can do if there's no actual footage of what's happening and I think the thieves know this. Anyways! Even though we had some bad experiences, I truly loved living here and would highly recommend it to everyone.

They knowingly moved another resident into a rat infested apartment for the third time this year. December 2022 we were living on the first floor. My entire family pets included became very ill due to the unsanitary living conditions. Rats had eaten through the ventilation system so much so that you can see the pink insulation coming through (as well as rat hair and poop). Currently if you go into the game room area on the first floor you can see the same thing there. Just look up. At the time I was pregnant and we could not stay in the apartment we had JUST paid rent for so we were forced to make the decision to go stay in a hotel until the problem was resolved. Being new parents is stressful enough than to be having to deal with this situation and be dishing out all that money. A month later after my child was born they were finally able to move us into a new apartment. August 2023 and there are now rats on the fourth floor. In our walls and on our patios. Soo many more issues with the property from the tow truck (hitting our whole towing another/breaking our garage gate) to theft of cars/ packages. Oh and don't swim in the pool, it's green. Don't bother asking the managers for help, they just ignore emails and phone calls and try to avoid meetings you set. Hope I've saved you a headache. Don't move here.

We viewed their 2 bedroom townhomes, but finally decided on leasing the 3 bed townhome to afford us more space. While we didn't get a chance to view the unit we would ultimately be leasing, we were assured it was almost identical to the 2 bed we toured. Because we lived 2 1/2 hours north at the time of reservation, we postponed signing the lease until we could do an in-person walk-through. Thank God we did. Lori was our leasing agent and the individual who gave us the tour of the units. She was also the one who took us to the unit we reserved to do our pre-move in inspection. She should've just told us to start looking elsewhere. Black mold in the bathroom, unknown mold in the kitchen cabinet, hornet's nests everywhere on the exterior walls and eaves, cobwebs throughout, broken blinds, cabinet shelves and doors? I was shocked that Lori would even bother to bring us to such a place! It explained why she kept rushing us to get back to the leasing office to sign the contract. The fact that she thought we would after seeing all of that was insane. I asked to speak with Sarah (the apartment manager) when I became infuriated at the realization that her employee expected our family to be okay with this s#!tshow of a townhome. That, coupled with the fact that all of our worldly goods were to be delivered to this location within 48 hours, enraged me. Sarah brought over the maintenance supervisor and attempted to mitigate all this drama, but it was spiraling out of her control as I peeled back the layers. We had nowhere to sleep that night, so I tried to find a hotel asap. Thankfully we did, but we were still left with not having a place to receive our home goods. Sarah offered us another unit, same situation: pests, cobwebs, dirty cabinets, hornet's nests, etc; in addition to the unit's being way too small. We agreed to let them clean up a unit for us to move into the following day. I left feeling dirty and pissed off. As I lay in our hotel bed that night I came to the conclusion that there was no way I was going to rent a place that was too small for our family for close to 2K a month, just because P@WA didn't have enough respect for potential (or current) residents to take pride in their property. The plan was to temporarily rent the smaller unit until one of the 3 bed units could be "brought up to standard", then have us move into that one. So, to recap: 4 moves in less than a year? We're a lifetime military family and we have never done that with the Army, let alone because a "luxury" property is too lazy or inept to maintain a unit. We called the property manager and told her we would not be returning and asked her to refund our complete deposit. She did so. It's been a week and a few days- we just received the refund check today. I wouldn't recommend P@WA to anyone, let alone military families. I think the property is a pig painted up with make-up. That's actually an insult to pigs. We were left scrambling to find a place to live with our two children and I'd be utterly disgusted if anyone involved in this debacle still has their jobs.

Really, It's been happening alot here not just me. When I saw the other truck was on bricks with no tires on, I thought they were replacing them. But it was actually some one stole their tires and left truck on bricks. I got all of my stuff from the truck stolen. The office told us to make a police report, and they can't do anything. Well ok. This can happen anywhere too I guess. They have a patrol for the club house to make sure to kick everyone out at 10pm, but not for security of tenants. Fine. Second, the trash valet is trash as it is. I don't know who the contractor are, but they simply throw your trash bin away after they pick it up. I put out trash bag and recycle bag separately and they don't even pick up the recycle bag. Instead, they just kick the regular trash bin (or throw it back to floor) your are lucky to find your trash bin out of your door after you put them out. I found mine front of the next door because there was 2 of them and one is like on picture. I really don"t see the point of paying $35 a month when I actually have to go dump out my recycles every day. Overall, this apartment looks great when you see it while you do a tour. But what you see is just sugar coated. It is not worth it to pay this much money for this place. I truly regret my contract here. Do more your homework before you move in here. Oh. I had to add up some more after I read the other reviews. Yes. There is a lots of dogs. I do love pets but there is alot of people don't clean up after their beloved one do their job. I stepped on the poop few times already.
