    Mold underneath bathroom sink
    Melanie D.

We have always read horror story reviews and you always think "that will never happen to me" BUT please read this and save yourself. This whole experience has been a nightmare. My husband and I loved the property whenever we came for a tour and were super excited about living here! We were originally planning on moving in 9/15 but received a call saying the current residents would be moving out late and if we could give them an extra 5 days to get the apartment ready. We told them we would be there to pick up the keys and move in on 9/21. Fast forward to 9/21, we pick up our keys and do our walk through and we're extremely disappointed at the condition of the apartment. We were not given a move in ready apartment due to mold under the bathroom sink along with a leak/puddle of water coming from the bathroom air vent. There was mold all over the said air vent. I am allergic to mold and have had health issues in the past due to it so this was a big concern for me. We immediately went to the leasing agent who we had been working with and told him and showed him some pictures we took. He then followed us back to the apartment to see for himself. We showed him our concerns along with other issues like a melted hole in our microwave, a disgusting tub that needed to be resurfaced, damaged doors and baseboards from pets from a previous resident. He seemed really embarrassed and got on the phone with someone to let them know. We told him we could not move in and wanted to talk to management about our options. He stated management was not there and would be back on Monday 9/23. Fast forward to 9/23 and we spoke with Tania Ortiz the assistant property manager about the condition of the apartment and that we were not able to move in due to the health risk. She had the maintenance crew go with my husband into the apartment for us to show him. The maintenance man then tried to tell us that it was just dust (LOL). We felt like they didn't take the situation seriously and were taking advantage of the fact we were a young college aged couple. We presented Tania with a termination letter requesting a refund as they failed to provide us with an inhabitable apartment on our move in day. She told us she couldn't issue a refund and tried to convince us to stay and move in. We told her we weren't leaving until she put us in contact with someone above her who could help us. She then got on the phone with Ron Shelton from corporate who said they would be hiring a contracted mold specialist to come out the next day 9/24 to check for mold and take care of it if there was any. We were happy with that because we did really like the property but we're just concerned about my health. We then received a call from Rebecca the property manager on 9/24 who I guess had been out of the office the days leading up to this who called to inform me they never had a mold specialist come out as promised and assured me she checked herself and that it was just dust. I again let her know my health concerns and asked her if she could write a statement guaranteeing there was no mold in the apartment and she told me she didn't feel comfortable doing this. I then sent a certified termination letter in the mail again asking for a refund from the big deposit and first months rent. Now I received a letter in the mail from them asking me to pay them for a reletting fee and accelerated rent from the time it was vacant to when they re-rented it. After I already have paid them around 1200$ to not move in because they refused to take a mold problem seriously!! We have been extremely upset over the way everyone from Elm hollow and Irwin R Rose company has handled this situation. SAVE YOURSELF some stress and money and stay away from this place!

There is no parking after 8 pm. Forget having friends or family visit without a long walk to your complex. The internet is a monopoly so you are guaranteed to spend $140 for internet and cable and cannot access other options. The pool table and club house are only available until 6 pm, so for anyone that works, you'll never really have access. We never leave the kitchen with food, but had ants within the first few months living there. The best part of the apartment was the dishwasher, the pool is great and the gym was clean and often empty. I wish they would work on these things and manage the prices so people can actually have a decent sized apartment for an affordable price.

AZURE one for the worst places I lived in and I do no recommend these apartments to anyone.

I didn't fully know what I wanted, and honestly, I didn't even know the right questions to ask yet. Instead of throwing endless options at me, Dusty took a very intentional approach. He showed me a limited number of RVs and used each one to narrow down what I loved, what I didn't, and what would actually work long-term. What stood out most was how closely he listened -- not just to what I said, but to how I reacted. He noticed what made me light up, what I hesitated on, and what I clearly wasn't willing to compromise on, even before I fully realized it myself. By the time we found the right RV, there was no second guessing. No pressure. No confusion. Dusty doesn't just sell RVs -- he guides people through one of the biggest decisions they'll make toward freedom and independence. If this is your first time stepping into RV living, he's exactly who you want helping you through it. RV Whisperer is the perfect name.

The management for maintenance has been amazing in fixing the apartment of any little problem they might have. We can definitely count on them. We did have a couple request that needed to be check or fixed and they have been on top of it. Our AC went out on one hot day and Josh was here in mins to come and check on what was happening and also provided a portable AC since it was a weekend. He everything comfortable for us and went above and beyond to get the job done and must say that really impressed me. I have really felt more at home here than I have any other place. I love the events they do here and especially the Christmas events from food trucks to simply allowing everyone to wrap presents in the office with everything provided to the hot cocoa gift sets. It's the little things that make a home and the staff definitely make you feel like home. I give 5 stars because even the little things don't break my decision. We have a puppy that is more than a dog to me. The fact that I can walk him and feel safe is the best feeling ever. Bags and trash bins provided around every corner and dog park for my baby to play and run free is just a great feeling: the only thing I can say is there are moments where people don't pick up after their dogs but again you will never not see maintenance walking around cleaning up the complex. Thank you so much for making the first year as amazing and the second has been even better. We are blessed and feel like home! I love that the management company does events like the food trucks they have been bringing to the complex. Keep up the an amazing job. Kat has always been such a great person when helping with any questions we might have regarding parking, issues, or questions in general. Management has done something great. We appreciate everyone so much. I have definitely recommended this apartment complex to others and even have my brother living here which is nice. Thank you so much. Please continue the amazing events like pool day, popcorn for Pops and many more! Can't wait

As I'm walking down the steps he starts to tell the ( I'm assuming lease agent ) that I am canceling my viewing, she looks at me & shrugs her shoulders as if to say " oh well. I'm not sure what changed about 2 years ago, but everything has deteriorated and become absolutely unacceptable. First, both the front and back gates malfunctioned and were not fixed for over a year (the back gate is still broken to this day)- the gates had broken down frequently before, but were usually fixed in a reasonable amount of time. But over a year it was left wide open without any regular updates from the office and, when I emailed them directly regarding a status of the repair, was simply told that they would provide an update when they had one. Whereas at one time routine maintenance issues would be resolved in, at most, 48 hours, I have submitted tickets for four separate needed repairs (including not being able to get out onto my balcony as the door will no longer open due to the constant foundation shifting) and they have not been resolved for a month now. I have emailed multiple times, attempted to call the office, left a voicemail, and attempted to stop by in-person to obtain an update. When I DO receive a response, it's to repeatedly tell me that maintenance is seeing to emergency repairs first; I completely understood this... initially, but after a month? The same song and dance is no longer acceptable. And the office personnel have become nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with, no matter the avenue. Emails may be responded to once, otherwise they go completely unanswered even after follow up. They won't answer the phone- I called nine times over a two day period before I spoke to someone only to be given the same excuse. That was weeks ago- I've attempted to call six times so far today (it's currently early afternoon) and no one answers. When I stopped by the office in-person they have the out of office sign up signaling they'll be back in over an hour. Being a resident of this community has become both infuriating and disheartening since you absolutely cannot get any meaningful response (or, oftentimes, any response at all) from management. And don't even try to contact BH Management- I couldn't get a phone number from the office and the messages to the email address I was given have gone unanswered. Basically once you sign the lease, you're on your own. Just pray that you don't have maintenance issues or issues with your neighbors because you won't receive assistance. From a long-time resident, do yourself a service and look elsewhere.
