Came in for a laser hair removal, service was super quick, say 5-10 minutes? Parking is street only and is walkable to a lot of cafes and other businesses. The staff was friendly and they gave me a coupon for my first facial. I had booked an appointment in advance using a gift certificate. While making the appointment, I had provided all the information for the gift certificate. After my appointment, the front desk couldn't find the information of my gift certificate (which I had already provided a few weeks ago via phone), and started asking me questions like when I received the certificate, who I got it from etc. They ended up asking me to call the person I received the gift certificate from to get details such as when they bought it and asked for the last 4 digits of the card that was used. Thank goodness it was my husband since it would've been a very embarrassing and uncomfortable situation if I had received it from someone at work and I had to call them for their card information / a screenshot of their bank account to prove the purchase. I did not appreciate how the front desk made me feel like I was doing something wrong by not having the gift certificate information on me when they had already asked for it when they booked my appt. I ended up having to spend an extra 20 minutes while checking out and making multiple phone calls to figure out something that they should've done when booking the appointment. read more

I got a massage here by Ericka and it was the worst I've ever had. She spent the first 20 minutes wiping my feet with baby wipes, and then wouldn't actually massage my feet or anywhere else on my body. She was just petting my skin without even having oil on her hands and it felt like sandpaper. The lights were also on the entire time and there wasn't music playing. I asked her to massage my body more deeply, and she pressed into my quad muscle really hard with her finger to a point of extreme pain and mumbled a bunch of things about why she can't go deeper. She then just left me in the room and wasn't waiting outside for me afterwards. I can't believe I had to pay for this. read more

Sogand is a great addition to the electrolysis part of the team. She is extremely polite, very flexible and especially kind toward clients who due to injuries might not be able to shift towards the position that would be easiest for the electrolycist to work with. Sogand is even able to remove fairly long facial hairs. Like all the Persian Americans and Persians working at Azure, Sogand has a Western World like mindset. read more

I had the sweetest esthetician named Inna. We literally laughed the whole time and she was gently while doing my facial. Now I don't know if I noticed to much of a difference but it was a nice experience nonetheless. The place is too cute and the offer wine and crackers in the lobby. Wonderful spa The service was great. The woman who helped me at the front desk also doubled as a barista (jk but she made me a great coffee) . I met the owner who was been in the industry for a while, was very knowledgeable The ambiance / aesthetic was unmatched. The front waiting are is instagrammable. It was very clean and relaxing. She asked questions about what I wanted for my massage, checked in throughout the massage to ensure I was happy, and gave me tips for after the massage. I visited due to acne and scarring concerns. Farah was incredibly sweet and took the time to carefully assess my skin, recommending a microdermabrasion facial. She explained each step and its benefits. Now, just three days later, I've noticed significant improvement in both my acne and scarring! I felt welcome from the moment I stepped in the door and they took care of me from start to finish. The building is so cute from the outside to inside(obsessed with the waiting space decor) and has such a relaxing ambience. I was nervous with this being my first time getting a tattoo removed and they made me feel comfortable and at ease with this new process. I am so happy to continue to visit her at Azure Dream Spa. She is Arlington's best kept secret, but I can't help but write a review! Kristina truly understands skin on another level and takes a personalized, honest, and detailed approach to skincare. It's hard to find someone who has a gentle touch, doesn't try to sell you on what you don't need, and is skilled and experienced enough to give your skin exactly what it does need.My skin would not be what it is without her. I recently visited Azure for a 90 minute Swedish massage. The facility was clean and the front staff was very nice. However, the massage itself was fine. There was a decent amount of noise outside of the door that was distracting as well as a chair constantly rolling throughout the room from the massage therapist, with flip flops that made noise as well. Also, it seems that the staff uses a minimal amount of lotion/oil as it felt like the therapist was rubbing on dry skin, which was uncomfortable. There were also moments where it felt more painful than relaxing. It was overall a fine experience and I don't regret booking here, but it was not the most relaxing massage I've had. read more

I recently came here for the first time for a massage and facial a few days ago. I was extremely disappointed in both services. I do not think the price matched the value at all. This is not a spa experience. It is not a relaxing environment and I could hear people in the hallway and general background noise. The nicest way I can describe this massage is odd. I asked for a specific focus on my neck and shoulders. That did not happen. I tried to see if perhaps there was a process that she had. Whatever that process was, at one point she rubbed my eyebrows (??) and the top of my butt. It was also not by any stretch a full body massage either. This was around $90 for the hour. The facial was $145 and I'm not sure why. The esthetician was not wearing a face mask. My eyes were closed so to be fair I couldn't exactly see what was being applied to my face. There was a face scrub, extractions (no steamer!), and what seemed like a couple masks, a moisturizer and it was over? Typically with facials I can notice some type of increased hydration or something and I really didn't see that. I would have been better off with a trip to Sephora or Blue Mercury. read more

I had a horrible experience here after purchasing a groupon for laser. It started well enough, with Azure being flexible in booking. However, they called me multiple times before my appointment asking if I wanted to move my appointment up (I couldn't). I asked if I should reschedule, and they said no, it was fine. So, when I arrived, I was offered a seltzer (lovely), and before I could finish my paperwork was rushed into my appointment -- because someone else had an appointment in 10 minutes (so basically -- they double booked). They told me i could complete the paperwork later. What I didn't realize was that it had a disclaimer on it, with info about laser hair removal -- info that I should have had prior to treatment. The tech didn't go over any of it. I had purchased a groupon for my chin. Apparently to Azure, chin means about one square inch of space, and the woman was quite rude in how she told me. I was out of there in less than 5 minutes, and a bit burned. I was given no advice on how my treatment should have gone or what to expect. Thus far, I've wasted the groupon for the rest of my treatments, because I had such a bad experience, I'd never go back. read more

Had an electrolysis appointment with Cat at Azure this morning, and she was terrific, as are all their technicians and therapists.

My review is mainly for Jenna, because to me, Jenna=Azure Dream Day Spa. She is hands-down the best massage therapist I've ever gone to--not just in Arlington, not just on the East Coast, not just in the USA, ... the world :). Selfishly, I've reframed from singing her praises too loudly because she's hard to get in to see, as she (rightly so) is booked up in advance. But Azure also has done Arlington a great service in offering quality services at reasonable price points, which I appreciate very much. The staff at the front desk is friendly and very competent. The spa sells really great products (SkinCeuticals + many other good brands). It's not a place you go to for the full relaxing spa experience of a whirlpool, steam shower, fancy bathrooms, etc. It's where you go to get great service at great prices. Thanks, Azure! read more

Racist/islamophobic/xenophobic masseuse + no mask requirement. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. I brought my best friend here for her birthday and her masseuse, Olga, subjected her to blatantly racist/islamophobic/xenophobic "jokes." Absolutely unacceptable and deplorable. It was a harmful, disrespectful, and dehumanizing experience, even if Olga intended the jokes to be funny. If you are a person of color and/or visibly Muslim or non-Christian, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. I regret bringing my best friend whom I love so much into this establishment that was hostile and alienating to her. As a Muslim woman of color myself, I am outraged at what my best friend went through. If I could, I would give zero stars to Azure for this unacceptable treatment. Additionally, there were several unmasked clients in the reception area when we arrived, and my masseuse, Mary, was unmasked until I had to ask her politely to wear one, which she then did. In the time of Omicron I should not have to ask my masseuse to wear a mask. If you are at all concerned about the COVID safety of your masseuse/practitioner being unmasked around other clients before you, or being masked while caring for unmasked clients before you, or--the worst--being unmasked while caring for unmasked clients before you, DO NOT COME HERE. read more

My boyfriend purchased me a groupon (seems like I'm not the only disgruntled groupon-er on here) for electrolysis treatments. When I showed up for my first appointment (the tech was late, no mask as well). Takes me into a room, bedside manner was very aggressive. She wouldn't do the procedure because she insisted I spend $700 on a laser package first. Nope, big red flag! Also she tells me I should have numbed myself up an hour before the procedure. Ummm what? Thats not normal, also numbing cream takes about 10 mins or less to kick in. I said I had to think about it, and left pretty angry. Not letting that woman touch me with a needle! Don't waste your time and money on this dump. Also spa looked like a cheap Arabian nights themed motel room. read more
