Marie was caring without being smothering, she was unrushed which added to my own relaxation. Her touch was perfect and healing, her products were outstanding. She was sensitive to the discomforts of extractions, knowledgable, and generous of spirit. When I accidentally underpaid her, she handled it professionally, kindly, and directly, exactly as I would have preferred. She has a line of products I love, but she was never pushy or trying to "upsell." Her dog is adorable. The space is clean and airy and warm and I enjoyed her art that made it more beautiful. In a newer location mid-town, Marie is a consummate professional and genuinely caring person. You will be hard pressed to find a better esthetician in Santa Cruz County. I usually get a custom picked one based on her assessment of my skin and I always leave feeling refreshed and my skin glowing. When I waxed my eyebrows, she was the only one I trusted to shape them after I tried a "low cost" wax once. Not a product pusher or hard upseller to more expensive treatments, she make recommendations needed, but if you aren't interested, it's not a big deal or pressure to buy. I was recommended Marie at Azure by a friend who has gorgeous skin. I went in for the Customized Facial a couple months ago and MY SKIN HAS NEVER LOOKED BETTER!
