I discovered this little wine bar coffee shop right after moving to the area and I've been coming regularly ever since. Everyone I call a friend I've met at Azzurra wine bar. This place gives 'Cheers' vibes - it really is a place where everyone knows your name. Everyone is a regular, so coming here feels like coming home. Ivan, Sway, and Natalia are a blast and provide amazing service. Come here once and you'll be friends with everyone sitting at the bar. It's a community vibe. And the food and wine are really fantastic. I really... really love it here

From the time you walk in and are greeted by the Manager to the last morsel eaten, everything was stellar. Every visit tops the last one.

The bar is located in the new Atwell Suites Henderson, next to The Pass Casino on Water Street. It is an intimate space, but there is also seating available outside. There is live music every Friday & Saturday from 6pm-9pm out on the patio, but they pipe the music inside as well, which is a nice feature. They have a pretty extensive drink menu and the bar tender was very knowledgeable about the wine. I asked for a red that wasn't too dry and he recommended a delightful wine that was more on the sweet side and not too dry. My friend ordered a very dirty martini and she said it was perfect. They have a small selection of food including a Charcuterie Plate, Baked Brie & Fig Preserves, Mixed Nuts & Marinated Olives, Caprese Salad, 3 types of pizza, and Chocolate Lava Cake to satisfy a sweet tooth. We ordered the Charcuterie Plate and were not disappointed. The only downside to this space is that it is a little confined inside, and once it is full of people, it gets a little noisy. Other than that, great place for a casual drink or two and a snack.

From the moment you sit down, you feel like a regular -- even if it's your first time in. Today John was at the bar. He has a real talent for reading the room. Busy night? Your drink appears fast and exactly right. Slow evening? He'll chat with you just enough to make the place feel warm without hovering. That balance is harder to find than most people realize. John always makes the drinks well -- no shortcuts, good pour, and he actually remembers what you ordered last time you were in. The attention to detail is what separates a good bartender from a great one. The vibe of this whole bar really comes down to the person behind the counter, and John and the rest of the bartenders absolutely carry it. Friendly, professional, and genuinely seem to enjoy the work. If you haven't stopped in yet, do yourself a favor.

The staff is so knowledgeable about wine production and they did a great job explaining the process to us on each visit. On this particular visit, our wine was complete, so we were all part of the assembly line that got to bottle it up. We each took a case of wine home. Last night was my first time visiting in over two years and it was such a nice treat. My friend and I showed up around 5 and sat at the bar to grab a tasting. About three tastings in (we don't really drink) we needed to add some carbs to the party so we checked out the food menu. $10 for a small pizza, not bad at all. The pizza is made in the oven right there and smells so good! I think we spent two or more hours at Vegas Valley Winery and enjoyed every minute. I hadn't been to this restaurant before but it is stunning and now I really want to come back for a real meal haha. They had a live band playing and I love that their wall opens up to Water Street and is basically a patio. It's gorgeous here. Our servers were great and so nice with us. I was the only one eating but my family all ordered drinks. I got the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was really freaking good. I'm obsessed with hot honey these days and it really hit the spot. It came with fries which were also really good. This restaurant is gorgeous inside and reminds me of something you'd find downtown Vegas. I definitely want to come back again and get a real sit down experience. I'll be back for a date night for sure!

The meat is fantastic, the bun is excellent, but I'm just not a special sauce kind of person. All they need to do to make their burger really awesome is to carry some BBQ sauce. That's it. This entire establishment does not contain any form of BBQ sauce. Don't get me wrong, I am not somebody who would ever put it on a good steak! But burgers, wings, fries, this place offers a number of things that could be elevated by keeping a few bottles of BBQ in the fridge. Just give me the option, you don't even need to list it on the menu. I used to love the beef stroganoff that they had for a while, but I guess it must not have been popular because they got rid of it. It seems that in it's place they started offering a Shepards pie. I was excited about this meal until it arrived and the potatoes were filled with cheese. A Shepards pie does not traditionally have any cheese. So it is probably a good idea for the menu to mention that it is in there. In any case, I tried to order it sans the cheese but I guess it is pre mixed into the mash or something. They cant make it with no cheese. :( Lastly, and most depressingly, they took the shrimp appetizer off of the happy hour menu! This was a real kick-in-the-dick for me. I have probably came to BLVD Grille at least 10 times in the last year specifically because the happy hour $5 shrimp appetizer was so outstanding. I am genuinely depressed that they took it off the happy hour menu. I haven't tried the steaks yet, I want to, but most days, I'm just looking for some shrimp, a side of fries and a drink. I haven't given up on this place yet, but I feel like I'm losing my favorite menu items one by one.

I found a space and only had about a two-minute walk to Public Works. The space is industrial but cozy, and I love the little community library in the red phone booth. That's such a cute touch and very on-brand for a neighborhood spot. It also turns into a wine bar at night. I ordered the iced matcha honey latte with almond milk. It was good, but definitely on the sweeter side. Almost milkshake-like. (Not frozen, just thicker and sweeter than a traditional matcha). I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an earthy or classic matcha. The texture was a bit grainy with some settling at the bottom, and I did get a small clump in one sip. Not a big deal, just noticeable. If I had to guess, they use a pre-sweetened matcha powder. They don't advertise having pure or ceremonial matcha, so I'm not too pressed. Just sharing my experience. Service was quick and I got my drink within just a few minutes. There's plenty of indoor seating plus a spacious, dog-friendly patio. The vibe is very social and family-friendly, with lots of conversation, families, and groups. I personally wouldn't come here to study or work, but it seems like a great spot to meet with friends or family, or just a casual coffee run. I'd come back when I'm in the mood for something sweet. I'm curious to try the Cuban latte next time since it gets so much love. I'm glad I checked this place out.

I remember visiting once but maybe or maybe not buying a drink, then just never returning since it was a bit out of the water. But I relocated to a closer Henderson neighborhood and started checking out some of the nearby casinos, and it just seemed like a good idea to stop by today... and take advantage of a casino partnership as well. I tried two drinks. The Cold Brew ($7.00, 24 oz) felt like a dark roast at first but expressed mostly fruity notes later on. It was certainly smooth and low in bitterness and acidity. I also wanted to try a latte since that tends to be where these cafes get the most creative. The Cuban Honey ($7.00, 16 oz) was the recommendation of the employee at the register, and it was simple and tasty enough. Milk, honey, and cinnamon are some very classic and comforting flavors, and they're beautifully balanced in this latte. I was also interested in trying a quiche ($5.95), so I did. They come as a compact "personal" size and apparently just get heated warm for you even if you're taking them to-go. The Florentine is definitely spinach-forward but also seems to have mushrooms and caramelized onions. The crust is suitable, the egg custard isn't the most amazing, and it leans a bit salty overall, but it's an enjoyable food option. I probably blew past the parking lot which I'm vaguely aware of, but that's because parking was actually available on the street. Some spots were marked for 12 min only, but there were plenty of open unmarked spots a few yards up. The place was almost empty around Saturday lunch too. I have no idea why since it seemed quiet enough for a study or work spot. Public Works has filled a coffee-seeking niche in this area of Henderson for a long time, and hopefully they'll do so for years to come. If you play at Emerald Island or Rainbow Club, ask the casino about using points here since it's as good as money.
