Cute little wine bar on Water Street. A mom friend and I had a drink and a quick bite here early on a Friday night. The bar is located in the new Atwell Suites Henderson, next to The Pass Casino on Water Street. It is an intimate space, but there is also seating available outside. There is live music every Friday & Saturday from 6pm-9pm out on the patio, but they pipe the music inside as well, which is a nice feature. They have a pretty extensive drink menu and the bar tender was very knowledgeable about the wine. I asked for a red that wasn't too dry and he recommended a delightful wine that was more on the sweet side and not too dry. My friend ordered a very dirty martini and she said it was perfect. They have a small selection of food including a Charcuterie Plate, Baked Brie & Fig Preserves, Mixed Nuts & Marinated Olives, Caprese Salad, 3 types of pizza, and Chocolate Lava Cake to satisfy a sweet tooth. We ordered the Charcuterie Plate and were not disappointed. The only downside to this space is that it is a little confined inside, and once it is full of people, it gets a little noisy. If you love a cozy and relaxing spot with outside seating and a nice view while sipping on wine, then Wine on Water street is it! Both times I've been I've not only enjoyed their selection of wine and board but have had exceptional service with friendly staff that are very knowledge with their wine. I will mention the second time I went we sat outside and unfortunately a hawk that lives above the building ... released himself over our food. Luckily the staff noticed and brought us a new flight and charcuterie for us. Beware before you sit outside! They mentioned they're having a hard time ethically figuring out a way to handle the bird. Other than that 10/10 experience and i'll be back! read more

Wow! My wife came here on a girls night and could not stop going on about the place, the service the entertainment etc. So we came in for date night. I gotta say she is right! The owner was behind the bar and he is a true gentleman that takes great pride in his business. This is a quaint upscale wine bar with a great patio and live music. The selection is awesome both the wine list and the premium spirits. Small but mighty! I had some delicious Irish Whiskies and we snacked an a Charcuterie as we made conversation and enjoyed the laid back vibe! read more

Hellooooo, Wine on Water Street! It's been quite a while since we visited Water Street District (well, I passed through earlier this year heading back from a job interview at City Hall), and a handful of new businesses have opened since our last visit, with Wine on Water Street being one of them. We parked in the parking garage just up the street and walked over. It was nearly packed to the brim but we were lucky to snag the last vacant table inside. We wanted to sit outside since it's starting to become cooler during the evening, but the patio was full. They have live music every Thursday and Friday nights, with a musician called Taylor Warden being our Friday night visit's musical guest. Not only this place has wine, but they have a variety of beers and cocktails as well. They had a TV above the bar that had a full food and drink menu, but it kept changing and we had to wait for it to loop back, which was a little annoying. Service was a little slow...I think we waited about 10 minutes before physical menus were given to us. One drink on the menu that caught my eye was their chocolate covered strawberry martini, but I thought it would be a little on the sweet side for me, so I skipped out on that. I ordered a Tequila Sunrise cocktail and Kyle had a Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing beer. I've had the Tequila Sunrise at a different bar before but I can't remember where. Kyle said that his beer had a so-so taste to it, while my cocktail had a great, sunrise-like taste. It tasted like I was on vacation in paradise. Our waitress apologized to us for the long wait and gave us a 20% off coupon for our next visit. So we may come back again in the future and use it. They have a happy hour Monday-Thursday from 3:00pm-6:00pm, a book club meeting Tuesday's from 6:00pm-7:00pm (take note of this book lovers), and, as I said already, live entertainment Thursday-Friday from 7:00pm-10:00pm. New favorite hang out! Come for the wine and nibbles.... Stay for the music and Espresso Martini! Kenny is whipping up great cocktails! I like that their wine list has some "not your usual" wines. I tried 2 new French bubblies.... Cremant.... That were fantastic! I could easily drink the entire bottle of either easily but I didn't. We also tried some still wines and the grilled octopus appetizer. So tasty! The grilled octopus was served with a creamy hummus and an amazing chick pea salad. It could be a meal by itself if you were looking for something light and flavorful. I shared it and the evening was just starting so.... Ya know. Kenny whipped up an Espresso Martini for a guest and gave us a little sip... Truly Fantastic! If you didn't know better... It was a light espresso iced coffee. Deadly! Woohoo! Tiny little gem on Water Street in Henderson! This place probably isn't a whole lot bigger than your average kitchen but what it lacks in size it makes up for in service and offerings. They offer live music and theme nights which makes for a lovely chill night out. Famous for their espresso martini, wine selection and food - we tried the meatballs and the grilled cheese with waffle fries and both were amazing. Came here on a Sunday evening and sat outside in the patio area. We were the only ones at the establishment upon arrival but it picked up as we left. The place is nicely decorated and everything was clean and organized. Thursdays I believe they have live music. They also shared with me that they are revamping both the food and drink menu and it will be available 4/15/25. I ordered the Wow Old Fashion which was really delicious. Just the right blend over alcohol and sweetness, very well balanced. Service was good and prompt no complaints. Only thing pulling me away from a 5 star review was the pricing. Felt a little high for a glass of wine and an old fashion. Will stop by again though after 4/15 for either happy hour or live music to try the new revamped menu. read more

Brand new wine bar located inside the new hotel on water Street. The wine bar faces Water Street and is next to The Pass Casino. We came here on a Saturday evening. The bar had a few people inside of it. We were greeted right away by the friendly staff. The bar is very clean and modern with bar seating and small tables. They also have a small outdoor patio. They had a nice wine and appetizer list. We had the hummus which was delicious and a very nice portion. We both had a glass of wine. The only reason I will not give it five stars is the prices they are charging for Henderson. The prices are a little over the top. read more

We finally had time to try this place and it didn't disappoint! We never leave reviews but had too because Crystal our bartender was so sweet and nice to chat with. She was so knowledgeable on wine and definitely answered all our questions. They are planning on adding more to their food menu and maybe even possibly a brunch menu in the future! Can't wait to find out. We will definitely be back but recommend trying the chocolate cake! it's very sweet! We also really enjoyed the atmosphere and the vibe. Took forever to get a drink. I was with 3 other friends. Didn't have a house bourbon to make an old fashioned then charged us extra for the drink. We had to ask for our bill because the bartender was busy just talking to someone. Also overheard him a customer that he doesn't like making drinks or being a bartender & he wants out of the service industry. read more

I have probably driven by this place 50 times and thought it was just another "sipping" wine bar with limited food. That would not be an accurate description. I had the pleasure of having dinner and drinks there this week (sorry, no wine here, just a nice whiskey pour) and it was awesome. Food and service was amazing. So it is probably a good idea for the menu to mention that it is in there. In any case, I tried to order it sans the cheese but I guess it is pre mixed into the mash or something. They cant make it with no cheese. :( Lastly, and most depressingly, they took the shrimp appetizer off of the happy hour menu! This was a real kick-in-the-dick for me. I have probably came to BLVD Grille at least 10 times in the last year specifically because the happy hour $5 shrimp appetizer was so outstanding. I am genuinely depressed that they took it off the happy hour menu. I haven't tried the steaks yet, I want to, but most days, I'm just looking for some shrimp, a side of fries and a drink. I haven't given up on this place yet, but I feel like I'm losing my favorite menu items one by one.

The sticky rice was overpriced and had many hardened grains around the edges. I had looked forward to visiting this restaurant because I heard good things. Wine on Water Street is a fantastic spot in the historic Water Street District! The service is absolutely top-notch--5/5. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome. The wine selection is decent (3/5), with a variety of options, though I'd love to see a few more choices. But where this place really shines is its happy hour! Great deals and a fun atmosphere make it the perfect place to unwind. What I love most is the vibe--it's a great place to grab a drink, relax, and then take a stroll around the charming area. On my last visit, I ordered the What She's Having cocktail, which was balanced and refreshing. My go to is the Strawberry Fields which is sweeter. We also ordered the bacon wrapped dates and Napa panini. The dates are one of my favorite dishes here. The panini was really good and I enjoyed the chicken and pesto sauce. It was served with potato chips. I'll continue to keep The Local on my rotation of bars and meeting spots.

We went for the Happy Hour to test the waters. We will soon be back for dinner. It turned out to be a very busy Thursday evening, as they were celebrating the opening of their new courtyard. We got there early around 4:45 and were able to snag 2 places at the lovely bar which gave us a front row seats to the open kitchen. It was like having dinner with a very enjoyable show. We ordered the EggShooters, the Spreadable's Shorty (short rib) with Onion Bacon Jam (and ricotta), the Steak Sliders, Parmesan Fries and the Pizza Fritta. Every bite of every item was beyond delicious. Each presentation was very appealing and even the garnishes were yummy. The potato egg nest under the Egg Shooters was lip smacking, especially with each bite of the perfect eggs which also had a nice dollop of caviar on each half. The steak slices on the Sliders were tender and flavorful and the rolls were soft and tasty. The fries were best ever, perfectly seasoned, crispy outside, soft inside. The short rib dish is not to be missed, served with perfectly grilled bread. And the pizza fritta was unique and addictive. Just top notch cooking on every item. And the portions were so generous we had to take some home. Even though we felt stuffed, we just had to try the highly recommended (by the fabulous wait staff) berry trifle. So good! We ate every bite. The prices for HappyHour with food of this level are beyond reasonable and the wine at $9-12 a glass is a steal. We also really enjoyed the ambience. The wait and kitchen staff were top notch and made you feel very welcome and catered to. Everything added up to an extremely enjoyable evening out. As an additional note, the regular dinner menu prices are less than half what you would pay for this quality food and service anywhere on the Strip. We will be back soon and often!

For drinks, I tried one of their seasonal Smoked Old Fashioned's (made with Buffalo Trace) which was pretty good and a good price ($13), as well as their frozen drinks (pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris, $15 each). Two different bartenders worked my drinks this trip and they both did a good job. I've enjoyed hanging out in Vegas off-strip and Henderson, I still have a fun time, I've gotten good food and drinks that weren't so pricy. We ordered the basket of bread, meatballs, gnocchi, and then fried calamari. The best part of this little meal to me was the basket of bread where it came with prepackaged cookies, or crackers other than that, the meatballs were pretty good. They were cold by the time they got to us, but they need more flavor flavoring. So I asked the lovely lady at the wine bar. If this food was comparable to the actual restaurant, she said yes this so we will not be going to this Italian restaurant.
