I was able to book a wine pairing for myself and a friend who loves Riesling, and it turned out to be an amazing experience. My friend is gluten-free, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure she was well taken care of. The team at Cask was exceptional, treating us like longtime regulars from the moment we arrived. The food and wine were outstanding, and I was impressed by their wide selection of top-shelf spirits, along with beer and wine options. And Happy Hour is definitely worth mentioning! The Cask is the perfect spot to find a unique wine for yourself or as a gift. The helpful employees are a huge part of what makes this store special. They're located in a corner spot in a shopping center at Stephanie and 215. The shop is very simply designed. The wines are organized by type of wine. In the back are a couple of refrigerated cases of beer and wine. It's easy to find what you're looking for and free of clutter. There are two things that make this shop really special. First, the great customer service and help they provide in choosing a good wine. Second, their unique selection. All of their wines are from small wineries and they don't carry anything you'd find at larger stores. These are the two things that make them my "go to" for gifts. When I hear boutique I think expensive, but they have a whole variety of price points. They have plenty of wines as low as $20-$30. I have purchased several at this price point and found them to be good wines. The last time I picked a wine they offered options from $20-$100. They offer a lot of tastings and events that sound fun. They post information about these events on Instagram. The Cask is definitely worth a stop if you love wine or have the occasion to gift someone else some wine. read more

I simply love the Cask. I attend Happy Hour here and I always enjoy the ambience and service. Marc is wonderful and is always in a great mood. They have a wide variety of wine and spirits. They also have a great selection of whiskeys. Marc recommend Writers Tears and it is probably the smoothest whiskey I have ever had. I was invited to a small event by a friend of mine at The Cask. The shop is very cute and we had a beautiful long table set up for us. I was excited to check out the array of wines but there was a gentleman working there that made that impossible. His behavior was abhorrent to every single one of us. He was nasty, rude, and clearly did not want us there. At first I didn't say anything but soon there were whispers all around our table about how horrible this man was. I didn't bring it up to the host that day but speaking with her today I learned she too was disappointed with how we were treated. And he was in fact the owner. If you are like me and know nothing about wine other than If it's good then it's good, you will like this place. You will like it even if you know stuff too. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They sell by the glass or flight if you want to try while shopping. We were in a ref sort of mood, she got one I got another, both were fantastic. They have a selection that is different than what you see in those mega stores, and they tell the story. Added plus, one of our favorite take out options is right next door. I had a stressful day and needed a bottle of red for the evening. Upon entering the store- Marc (I assume the owner) helped me to pick one right away and it was perfect!! Very cute small store. Nice wine shop that I stopped in while getting some poke for dinner next door at Poke Express. I was surprised at how large the store was when I walked in. They have their products well laid out with signage so it's easy to find what you're looking for. They have a good selection, many labels that aren't the "typical" ones you'd find from Napa or the usual wine areas. Don't get me wrong, they do have the great brands as well but also offer a wide selection of you're looking for something "fresh" and new to try. The person who helped me (I presume was the owner) was very friendly and helpful in helping me to choose something new. He was able to describe the wine without sounding pretentious and although I had already decided to get it, he helped me confirm my selection and I look forward to enjoying it tonight. read more

Such a cool place. The owner is super knowledgeable and the staff are great. They offer a monthly subscription where they preselect 3 wines for the month and you can go in to taste each of them to determine if you want that month's subscription or not (for a killer price)... if not, you don't buy it that month! The only month we have NOT purchased was mid summer when it was all white wines - but the owner's selections and choices each month are always amazing and allow us to try wines we otherwise might not have thought to pick. Getting to taste them before committing is awesome also!! Found The Cask on Yelp and they had delivery to my door in less than 30 minutes! Website has delivery window for date, but not time. Didn't put in notes and called store. Marc told me he would be there in an hour - already beyond expectations - and then further exceeded expectations by having products to my door in less than half the time. This is an amazing wine and beer boutique! Normally when you think boutique, you think it just means expensive. That's not the case here, there is something for everyone! They are very knowledgeable and have a great variety of wine, beer, and sake that you don't find other places. I was looking for a bottle of champagne to celebrate a big occasion, they took the time to tell me about all my options and helped me choose the perfect bottle.
