Right away, you can feel the warmth of the service here. The moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the GM/Somm and the hostess, which immediately set the tone for a great evening. Although the seating is somewhat tight due to the size of the restaurant, it still feels comfortable and inviting. We started with the Shorty with onion-bacon jam spread and bread, followed by their Sunday evening prime rib roast with puréed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and peas, as well as the Branzino special. Everything was flavorful, well-prepared, and cooked beautifully. The menu offers a nice variety, with something for just about everyone. We also had Matthew, their Sommelier, make a few wine recommendations to pair with our meal. He brought over a few different options and took the time to explain each one. Matthew was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and helpful, and his recommendations added a nice touch to the evening. Our only real negative is the open kitchen, which meant we left smelling a little like the food. Other than that, it's wonderful to have a place like this nearby where you can easily pop in for a glass of wine and a few small bites--or settle in for a full meal. Well first the remodel came out splendidly! The atmosphere is very upscale without being stuffy! The service, well they are staffed up and they do not play! They were all over us and the other tables as well. Hostesses, servers, manager and Chef all did table touches! The Wine list is a bit pricey, almost uncomfortably so as there is not much range and several bottles priced above what I would say is appropriate for the selections! Went last Saturday night - August 8th - after hearing good things. Don't know what the fuss is about this place. We were so disappointed. Place is very small. We were sat at high top tables almost directly next to a saxophone player, as it was the only table available. Nonetheless, we felt like sardines. We asked for two steaks - one medium rare and one rare. Both of them came out well done. Waiter offered to redo them, but we didn't feel like waiting another 45 minutes. On top of that, there is dude name Matt who walks around the restaurant and tells us what type of wine they offer. Neither of us drink, but that didn't stop him from interrupting us three times. Ambiance just seems pretentious and caters to influencers. Sax player performed weird instrumental music. Didn't recognize one song. We requested a couple of songs, but she didn't know either. Parlour Wine Bar is a new restaurant located in Henderson. You'll find them hidden on the corner of Valle Verde and Horizon Ridge, near Le Nails, next to Pooches-N-Pals. There's ample parking. Soft opening was on June 5, 2026. Grand opening is on June 23, 2026. Inside is fine dining and casual attire is welcomed. Atmosphere is intimate and cozy with good seating for a table, high top, banquet, and by the bar. They have patio dining too! Music is relaxing and features a playlist of Jazz songs. Happy Hour is Sunday to Thursday from 5pm to 7pm, which includes salad, bar snacks, meat & cheese board, spreadable, and plates. Menu offers a nice selection of shareable, meat and poultry, fish and shellfish, sides & vegetables, meat-free vegetarian dishes, salads, charcuterie boards, bar snacks, and spreadable. For refreshments, they have Happy Hour Specials by the glass, beer & cocktails, wines by the glass for sparkling, white, rosé, red, signature cocktails for wine-infused craft cocktails, and beer. I ordered Watercress and Chèvre Salad ($15), very unique, creative, and delicious! It's a generous portion of watercress with stems that tastes similar to a peppery arugula, garnished with small edible flowers, tangy orange, sweet juicy grapefruit, and a wonderful sweet and crunchy candied pecans, mixed with soft and creamy goat cheese. Watercress is sweetened with local honey, tossed in white balsamic and extra virgin olive oil, very interesting texture and filling! I paired salad with Cauliflower Duo ($14) which has magnificent flavor! It's char sui oven roasted purple cauliflower served with a delicate creamy cauliflower puree, and very good! I'd get this again, great for vegetarians, and highly recommend! Service from Felicity, Greg, and Bryce is very kind, courteous, helpful, welcoming, and friendly! We did not make a reservation, but I strongly suggest that you do. I feel like Parlour will be pretty popular in the area. We got a selection of different cheeses and entrees, all of which were really good. One that really stood out was the ceviche with the Peruvian peppers. Truly was delicious. Also try the black gouda, that honestly was delicious and never knew about that type of cheese, and now I want more! When it gets cooler outside, I would love to dine outside. It's a cute little spot tucked into the corner of Horizon Ridge and Valle Verde, with a cozy neighborhood vibe that Henderson could use more of. From the moment we walked in, Matthew at the host stand made us feel welcome. Nick took great care of us, and Chef Antonio came out to chat with us a few times, which made the experience feel extra special. You can tell he's passionate about what he's creating. Our favorites? The ceviche was outstanding--bright, fresh, and packed with tender chunks of fish and shrimp. The "Pour Me A Slice" charcuterie board was another hit, especially the Basil Hayden cheddar. The truffle Parmesan fries were crispy and addictive. We also enjoyed the Chicken Lemon Parmesan Salad, a unique take on a Caesar served over bread with crispy chicken skin and garlic chips. The egg shooters were beautifully presented in little potato nests with a generous spoonful of caviar. Eat them in one bite...trust me, unless you don't mind wearing some of it! Really enjoyed Parlour Wine Bar. The space is super cute and cozy, and it's become one of my favorite spots to grab a glass of wine. The wine list is honestly one of the best in the area, especially if you like trying different wines by the glass. They have a great selection and always seem to have something interesting to choose from. The food is also really good, with lots of shareable plates that are perfect for splitting with friends or pairing with a few glasses of wine. I also thought it was really cool that you can see right into the kitchen and watch the team working--it adds a fun, lively feel to the experience. Service was great too. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and happy to make recommendations. They also have a great happy hour Monday through Friday from 5-7 PM with wine and appetizer specials, which is a nice bonus. My party and I recently visited Parlour Wine Bar & Eatery and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. We opted to explore as much of the menu as possible, sharing appetizers, salads, entrées, charcuterie boards, and desserts, and every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. You can tell a lot of thought and care goes into both the food and the overall dining experience. A special thank you to our server, Karla, who went above and beyond to accommodate my vegan diet. She was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive throughout the meal. At one point, she even caught that a cocktail I had ordered was made with egg whites and proactively let me know before it was served, which is something I likely would not have realized on my own. That level of care and attention to detail meant a lot and made me feel genuinely welcomed. The atmosphere, service, presentation, and quality of the food were all top-notch. It's clear that Matthew and his team are passionate about what they're building, and it shows in every aspect of the experience.
