I arrived right at closing time and was about to place my key in the after-hours drop box when two employees were leaving. One of them said, "we're closed." I explained that I was just dropping off my key and planned to use the drop box, or come inside if possible. He responded that the alarm had already been set. He did take my key, filled out a short form, and placed it in the box, which I appreciated. When I returned to pick up my car, I mentioned that a more courteous greeting--something like, "Hi, we're just closing, can I help you?"--would have made a difference. Cliff responded with, "I could have been polite, but you can go elsewhere." That interaction was disappointing and overshadowed an otherwise satisfactory service. Based on this experience, I won't be returning.

It takes 15 minutes at Jiffy Lube and other places, even without an appointment. Also, I sent 3 emails and made 3 unanswered phone calls to ask them how much a synthetic oil change costs. No response. Then, after learning that the oil change would take 1.5 hours, they told me the cost would be $96! Jiffy Lube charges $70. That was the last straw. What are those guys thinking? I had to take it to the nearest open repair shop and pay again for front brake repairs to make the car drivable again. I later learned Capitol Hill Auto had used aftermarket parts without telling me or identifying that on the invoice. I asked them to reimburse the front brake portion of the original repair, and after one defensive response, they stopped replying. I would not trust them with repairs again.

I watched them move the rear right tires to the front rights, I interrupted them and showed them what the owners manual said, which is consistent with the same process for all front wheel drive car. Instead of complying with my request the tech got angry and said "THATS NOT THE WAY WE DO IT HERE!" I said oh you don't do it correctly you just do it "the way you do it here?" I'm 65 and I thought this guy was going to punch me out as he said" we will just put them back the way they were and take it off the bill!!!" I'll never be back. If they don't understand the proper way to rotate tires, they should not offer the service. I will never go to this or any jiffy lube EVER AGAIN.

Had 11,000 miles on it. Environmental Auto failed it. Said it needed wipers and an oil change and wanted over $300.00 to do the service, what?? I declined and took it to the NAPA Store across the street, they said they wouldn't change the wipers as there was no need. Finally got the oil changed today as this was the recommendation on the sticker in the windshield. I took it back to Environmental Auto on the way home to get my sticker and they said nope, it's been 34 days since we did the inspection, we need another $119.00 dollars because it's over 30 days. I don't have another $119.00 to give them. Now I'm driving illegally waiting on my next SSI check to take it somewhere else.
