I asked these "pros" to rotate my tires in addition to the oil change. I have front wheel drive car. Any average mechanic knows how to rotate a front wheel drive car's Tires. I watched them move the rear right tires to the front rights, I interrupted them and showed them what the owners manual said, which is consistent with the same process for all front wheel drive car. Instead of complying with my request the tech got angry and said "THATS NOT THE WAY WE DO IT HERE!" I said oh you don't do it correctly you just do it "the way you do it here?" I'm 65 and I thought this guy was going to punch me out as he said" we will just put them back the way they were and take it off the bill!!!" I'll never be back. If they don't understand the proper way to rotate tires, they should not offer the service. I will never go to this or any jiffy lube EVER AGAIN. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I brought my car for an oil change and now my car needs 700 bucks in repairs because they didn't do it properly. I started getting an oil light shortly after going there. Thought it was a fluke. A week later I got check engine. Took it to the shop and found out they used the wrong amount of oil and it damaged my car. Went for an oil change but was disappointed in the service. When I got in my car, there was oil all over the interior door handle and steering wheel. This is unacceptable. My car should never be returned in worse condition than I left it. They claimed they had vacuumed the floors, but they obviously had not (see attached pictures). I am happy to vacuum out my own car, but I don't appreciate the staff lying to me about services provided. The only redeeming factor was that I did not have a long wait, but that is not enough for me to return to this location. I value honesty when paying for services, and I do not appreciate having to clean up after other peoples' mess, so I will not be bringing back my business. read more

I sincerely hope anyone who considers coming to this location for service takes heed to not only what multiple customers have had to say about their experiences, but more importantly how their management responds to anything but positive feedback. Brett D. has a pattern of speaking condescendingly towards the aforementioned feedback. I actually got a good laugh out of his response to my review, and that is as much as I will acknowledge his feelings on the matter. However I have all the time in the world for the FACTS which he chose to distort in his reply. Fact #1, You all in fact DID NOT ask to inspect my car. The order of events went as followed. After I went to Infiniti and was informed of the damage caused to my car, I informed your location of the issue over the phone at which point I was directed to email my concerns to jiffylube2878@gmail.com which I did on 12/20/21. That email was replied to on 1/21/22 at 12:05 pm. Please stop me when I start lying. The first communication I received actually came from Kevin at national headquarters on 12/27/21 after I was forced to make a formal complaint to them after being ignored by your branch. I was not informed of this 36 year long standing process of inspecting for damage until after I had already paid out of pocket to fix said damages and had returned to your location about a week after due to the lack of communication I had received. Fact #2 Speaking of my return to your location, you mentioned that you all, "requested a final paid receipt supporting your claim that such a repair was completed. You did not provide this to us and provided only an estimate and not a final paid receipt." Addressing the first life in this statement, you all DID NOT request any final paid receipt and if you have correspondence that contradicts this please feel free to show me and the rest of the community. HOWEVER, I indeed provided the estimated and the final bill when I returned to your location after my calls and emails went unanswered. Your employees at the location that day took pictures of said estimate and final invoice. It was after this episode that I finally received a call from your store manager informing me that my vehicle needed to be inspected. I have been blessed enough that I had the means to handle the fiasco you all created but I am aware that other are not as fortunate and that a $500+ repair job due to someone else's negligence could prove catastrophic. I don't need to hear anything else from you Brett unless you are asking for my address in order to send me my reimbursement check. You picked the right one this time, please go find a corner to sit in and hold this L. I received 5-star service as a first-time customer! I was welcomed kindly and when I presented my Yelp check-in offer of two free wiper blades, even though those working were unfamiliar with this particular coupon, they made it happen. I was given options on the type of oil I could choose from, educated on the frequency my radiator should be flushed and why, and shown how dirty my air filter was (gross but necessary). I was invited to sit in their waiting room which was old fashioned but clean, offered coffee, magazines and shown where the bathroom is if needed. Though they could use a serious lobby (and coffee) upgrade, they have what you need for a comfortable wait. The service was speedy and I was on my way with well-wishes for a nice holiday weekend. I wish I had written their names down, but the gentlemen that helped my on Saturday afternoon (May 26th) were awesome. Thanks guys! read more

Jiffy lube more like "jibbed ya fool" They gave me wipers that are either broken or were used. It makes an excruciating noise if the window isnt wet enough for its liking. (While its full on raining yikes) Just cause im a girl they think its okay to try to charge me with a $400 bill. Have been going to midas ever since. I don't like writing bad reviews, but felt people need to know the poor quality of service this establishment provides. I got my oil changed and they put in the most expensive oil ($83) without asking what type I would like to use. The car was done in five minutes, which would normally be a great thing... but checking receipt, they said they inflated my tires, cleaned my windows, and topped my fluids. Getting home I realized my windows were not clean, then decided to check my window washer fluid (which was nearly empty), and finally figured I should check my tire pressure (which was several PSI below normal level on two tires). Makes me wonder what else they didn't do. I had a $15 dollar coupon that they would not take, saying it doesn't apply to this Jiffy Lube. When leaving, they couldn't find the key to my car. They didn't even put the sticker on my window. I am severely disappointed. This placed used to be a quality Jiffy Lube.... I would recommend not going here, and if you do.... make sure to ask lots of questions to make sure you a getting the service you expect. read more

Used to frequent Jiffy Lube until they caused damage to the rear differential of my vehicle. I questioned the technician about using the required additive for the rear limited slip differential, later it was proven they did not use it and required the entire rear end to be rebuilt. After many years of service I will not use this company again for any of my 4 vehicles. read more

They were quick but the price was over $80 with a coupon! They "cleaned" my windows, but left them dirtier and smudged. They also left oil on my glove box. Trust me on this: DO NOT EVER GO TO JIFFY LUBE!!!! THE JIFFY LUBE AT 950 RITCHIE HIGHWAY IN ARNOLD, MD drained my oil and didn't put any in (which apparently happens a lot), and this WRECKED THE ENGINE OF MY SUV. They towed my SUV the next day to some mechanic and refused to tell me where it was. While it was gone, I contacted the Jiffy Lube Corporate Office multiple times, but they have refused to talk to me. It took more than two weeks to get my car back and they still have not reimbursed me for the $751 I spent on a rental car (It has been over a month!). I told them multiple times they would pay for my mechanic to look at it when I got it back and the day before I got it back, they said no, they would not do that. They told me the engine would be a certified one with paperwork from the State of Maryland and would come with a warranty, but they have refused to give me this non-existent warranty or any paperwork. When I got my car back, it was filthy on the inside and out and was almost completely out of gas, but all I was concerned about was the motor they put in. The new engine did not accelerate like the original engine did, it made the car shudder, it didn't shift easily and it revved really high, so I took it to the Hyundai dealership. Immediately, the dealership said the engine that was installed was not for an SUV, it was a car engine, which has plastic parts and different electronics than the engine it is supposed to have. I have met with an attorney and I am now suing Jiffy Lube for a new engine and all of my bills. read more

We have been bringing our cars here for oil changes for several years. Especially in the last couple of years the service has always been excellent. They clearly have high customer service standards. This is a business, so clearly they are in it for a profit. They have tried to upsell different services and products, but never are pushy when we say no or maybe next time. I have never felt like they were trying to take advantage of me in any way. The gentleman and ladies at this location are always very kind and friendly. Twice when I went there the person at the cash register happened to notice my AAA card in my wallet and offered me the discount without me even asking. We live across the Bay Bridge, but always make a trip to come here for oil changes. read more

I've been going to this jiffy lube for years since I live 5 mins away. This time I was disappointed. I will say the staff was friendly and moved quickly which I appreciated. But when I went to get back in my car I noticed they got black grease stains all over my door which were easily visible because I have tan leather. I noticed it right away and asked someone to wipe it off. He wiped it with a dirty rag so I just said forget it and drove away mad. Then as I'm driving I realize my whole steering wheel is covered in this black grease and it got all over my hands. I pay a lot of money to get my car professionally cleaned every month and they need to use more caution and work cleaner!!! I will second guess going back because I know If I do I'll have to clean my car when I leave. Getting my oil changed here cost me the oil change PLUS $40 at mister car wash for a detail. This place is unbelievably horrible! If you don't want to pay triple the average price for an oil change and also leave with your car covered in grease, go somewhere else. My wife stopped by the Arnold, MD Jiffy Lube for an oil change since it is conveniently located near our house. After 1.5 hours, she was charged $83 for an oil change (no air filter, wipers, etc - only an oil change). Obviously she thought this was high, but she paid without raising a stink. The real fun began when she went to get in her car. First she noticed grease and oil all over the outside door handle. When she got in the car there was oil and grease all over the interior - I mean everywhere. Oil on the interior door handle, cloth interior, dash, steering wheel, and incredibly enough, even the windshield. She told the Jiffy Lube associate this is horrible. He simply responded with "its not like we do it on purpose - it just happens". Oddly enough, it NEVER has happened to us anywhere else in the past 25 years of owning cars. I have never had this probelem at any other Jiffy Lube or other oil change facility, but based on other reviews, the Arnold, MD Jiffy Lube consistently provides poor service at inflated prices. I cannot recommend strongly enough to stay away from this shop. Now I need to get back to scrubbing my wife's interior on her 6 month old car to see if I can get all of these stains out. read more
