This would be my go to spot but the bagels got smaller and i think they are using lower quality eggs. Not to mention the two short big dudes at the front have an attitude problem everytime i go but i used to like their bagels so much to not care, now they are using some bum ass ingredients for their bacon egg and cheese. Took a quick 8 min walk over from queen of peace grammar school since wifey had a craft fair yesterday. It was very busy in the bagel shop around 1030am but the staff here was very friendly and I think I was being helped by the owner. I got a bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich and a Taylor ham, bacon and cheese on a roll for the wife. My garlic bagel sandwich was cooked very well and not too overloaded. The service at this place was amazing! I wish I knew his name but the cashier at the front with glasses and a cool accent made my takeout experience great! He was very friendly and he ensured a safe & quick experience for everyone in line. There is also ample outdoor seating and street parking. Now for the food, the bagel selection here has some serious variety. I was even able to find an egg everything bagel here, which not all bagel spots have. It was fresh tasting and they added the perfect amount of cream cheese. Their sandwiches are great too, my boyfriend enjoyed his chicken parm sub and everything was very reasonably priced. They had plenty of drinks, pastries and chips to add on also. I'm glad this place opened up so close to me, I will be back to try more! read more

I'm not sure if this place changed owners or what happened. Those that have read my reviews know that I'm not one to give 1 star. I actually hate doing so; especially to a local establishment. Third time in a row there's been an issue. Few weeks ago, they completely forgot a sandwich and I had to go back. Then they forgot a container of olive cream cheese. Luckily, that one we caught outside. Now we went for breakfast/ lunch. Boys got sandwiches, I got the reuben. I was asked if I wanted it on a panini or rye bread. I got rye. Then I was asked if I wanted it cold or hot. I said "hot. It comes with the saurkraut and Russian dressing, right?" The girl confirmed. Then someone came out from the back to confirm what I ordered and again, we both were on the same page, as their "specials sign" showed, that I was getting pastrami, saurkraut and Russian dressing on rye bread. Well, when I got home, I had just a lump of pastrami on rye. Nothing else. Unfortunately, this is the last time I'll roll the dice and go here. Bagel shops are hard to find in the area, which is why we venture 30 minutes plus to Hoboken most times. read more

For a town that's not even three square miles NA sure does have an ample amount of bagel places, huh? I'm a simple fella (bagel and a drink) and can only vouch for their bagels which are well-constructed carb-bombs. Their flat everything bagel is the size of your classic "UFO flying saucer" while their standard everything bagel is plump enough to be used as a wheel chock for the planes at Liberty International. (And those bagels are completely covered in all the usual flavored nibs and bits and taste great.) The fridge's selection is decent (I dig that they finally got some Bai drinks in there) and their coffee is surprisingly good with a nice bit of (bitter) kick that I appreciate. The food is wonderful, but it's extremely frustrating that no matter how many employees are behind the counter, a line forms. On several occasions I have personally witnessed the people behind the counter milling around with dazed looks on their faces. At least twice, I asked for something and apparently the clerk who waited on me gave me the wrong thing completely (e.g, I asked for half a pound of chicken salad and got a pound of egg salad). The final straw: the other day I got 14 bagels and the clerk tried to fit them all into a small bag. I asked for a larger bag, because the bags are flimsy to begin with - and he laughed, "Oh, you need two bags?" I explained that the last time he gave me a small bag it broke - but I am confused as to why he needed to be told. Sadly, although I LOVE their bagels - I won't be going back. read more

Their bagels are the best, large and delicious. I go at least 1-2 a week and order a bagel or a sandwich, sometimes both. Love their tuna and egg salads, very simple not over filled with all the extras like globs of celery because it's a cheap to add. Coffee is also very good and there are a good supply of different drinks. The service is fast. I call like 10 minutes ahead and my sandwich or bagel is always ready for pick up as I'm rushing to work. Thanks guys! read more

I didn't get to try the food. I walked in with my service dog and some kid behind the counter said "no pets." I understood and said he's a service dog. Every year we pick up bagels for Easter morning brunch. Every year we seem to try different places. This year we got them from B&B bagels. The bagels were fresh, oversized and just delicious!! My whole family couldn't stop raving how good they were!! I think we found a new place to get bagels every year!! read more

I feel bad reviewing this place 2 stars. I want to give it 1 but to be nice im going to give it 2.... the most disturbing thing i saw was the young employee use the palm of his hand and wipe up his nose and then went to wrap a sandwich with foil. Sorry kid, but you wont even remember that you did that bc obviously it was inadvertent. But it still grossed me out and with all this stuff going on, i want hygienic practices to be upheld... also, i dont like they dont use hairnets and everyones hair just hanging out.. not cool. I think bc this pl is new its pretty clean facility but, the workers you have to do better. read more

I'm surprised to see this place has fewer positive reviews than I expected. B&B Bagels is my top tier bagel place on this side of Bergen County. I currently live in Harrison and there's not a lot of options here. So I started exploring to neighboring towns and stumbled upon B&B. I absolutely love these bagels. They're huge, doughy, and also have that nice freshly-baked crunch on the outside. They serve true Jersey bagels. The sandwiches are always hot and fresh, jam-packed with meat and cheese, and they're delicious. The prices are great, too! The folks inside are really nice. They've never gotten my order wrong. They're patient with me while I order a bunch of random things (from sandwiches to a bag of bagels to some sliced deli cheeses to cream cheeses). They've got a good selection of drinks. There's only a few tables inside since it's a small place. There's quite a few tables outside to eat though, which is fun in the warm weather! There's no parking lot, but there's plenty of street parking since it's on a corner, so it's a breeze to get in and out. When it's busy, expect to wait up to 10 minutes from start to finish, but I'll tell ya: it's worth it. B&B has become my go-to for bagels! read more

The daytime staff is unprofessional and doesn't know how to talk to people. They have a 4 person in the facility mask rule but yet they have 8 or 9 people inside so I wait first one outside for 10 min, then about 4 people came out. Figuring 4 left 4 could move inside. Some woman whom I had dealt with prior exclaimed for me to get out. Not the person in line behind me. Yes, I was told to wait outside with no explanation while that they let 7 people and the person behind me inside. I heard one person make a sound which I think sounded like "sissy" under a mask but I didn't know who said it. I was very annoyed, hot almost 100 degrees out, but took my spot outside and spoke with a couple other people on line, 2 left but I wanted to talk with a manger, hoping that he would be level headed. Without my even requesting him he came out when I was paying for my order, which seemed a bit high. When I questioned the price of the mini bagel at 2.50. He tells me that I'm not welcome back there. I said fine, I don't need to be discriminated against anyway. He then chased me outside as I was walking to my car screaming epithets and slurs at me. When I questioned him and asked if he wanted to fight me because of what he was yelling and the rage he was expressing. He and his employee said for me to come back inside and they will show me what I can do and that they want to show me what they can do. Taking this threat seriously I kept walking. I am still in shock they tried to lure me back into the mob like situation that he would call his staff or family or both. I'm thinking is this really happening to me all because I asked the price?? I immediately came to the reality that that was not over price but over sexual orientation. Really, sexual orientation according to these people I guess has its place in selling bagels. Ridiculous. From the moment I stepped foot into that place when they first opened I got a sense something was off. I really was hoping that them seeing my partner and I together on other occasions would be okay and not make waves. Unfortunately the owner and his family are triggered in me questioning their actions against me that sent him into what I think was a hate filled rant. I left there scared for my safety. I give these people who immigrated here my business and I am met with homophobic slurs and constant discrimination, and a fear for my safety. I urge anyone that stands up for lgbtq rights to think twice about supporting a business that in my opinion spreads hate and holds onto hate. Just on face value alone, I will never support them for treating me like this and of course what small business chases customers out to only try to pull them back inside to rough them up? From my experience and in my opinion B&B Bagels does that's who! read more

I have stopped here for bagels in the morning a few times. The bagels have always been fresh and warm and the staff members who helped me have been very courteous. If you buy 6th bagels they throw in a 7th for free - same if you buy a dozen the 13th is on the house. Good bagels and nice people. read more

My friend and I just ordered a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich from here. We called at 10:34AM and told the person over the phone Cheesesteak sandwich, jalapeños, and no onions. They said it would be ready in 15 min. We get there at 11AM and the order was not ready. Even said they forgot about it. Said they'll make it as fast as possible and it would be 5 min. 11:15 and still not ready. We were about to leave and ask for our money back instead. Gave us the sandwich but still wouldn't give us our money back for THEIR mistake. Manager said it was busy and the order was still made. But the order was still not correct. It had onions and no jalepenoes. Never coming back here again. I recommend everybody goes somewhere else. The manager was rude and unprofessional. Didn't really correct the mistake and the staff was incompetent. If I could give this place a 0/5 I would. read more

So, so happy this place opened. We love Schuyler Bagels and now we have their sister store even closer to us. The bagels here are the very best you'll find and the owners and staff are "Old School Polite" and generous.
