After retrieving the normal half retainer he left the state and did not return until 3 days of completion. This means for over a month there was NO ONE supervising. Each area of project had to be redone more then twice. And the mess and personal property damages they left behind were astonishing. Its also unfortunate none of his employees speak English which becomes a barrier when needing direction. If you dont mind the results being "just ok" from unpaid employees who ask you for their money then Ephraim Floors is for you. Good luck

They were very tidy using drop cloths on the carpet and cleaned up after themselves; unlike a lot of handymen/ contractors. Our staircase not only looks better, but is as solid as a rock and not all wobbly like it was before. Because of Darren, we do it every day! Darren refinished a ~30 year old hardwood floor that had yellowed, shown wear from traffic, had missing pieces of wood, and damage from chemical spills.
