On the day of the wedding, she created a gorgeous flower arch where my husband and I had our first look. I couldn't have pictured it any better. They accepted and provided pictures to help identify the look I was going for, as well as a written explanation. Their professionalism and precision was seen throughout the entire process, from planning to delivery. When they delivered our wedding day flowers, I was shocked with how beautiful everything was! For my bouquet, I was torn between wildflowers (my style) and a more romantic, classic look. They married the two into a bouquet I had never seen before! My flower crown was done in the style of the traditional haku lei. It was important to me to incorporate this piece into my wedding. Their work was the perfect blend of culture and rustic Lake Tahoe! The cake flowers were perfection - I can't tell you how many guests said that it was the most beautiful cake they had seen. Our centerpieces were above and beyond. They perfectly matched our theme and were the right amount of "big" without being distracting, and the style of the arrangement enhanced the romantic feel of the rest of the centerpieces. My biggest complement has to be the circle arch. My wife and I were torn between something more traditional and something different. The circle arch served as the perfect backdrop for our vows. I recently worked with Brandie and her team on a wedding in Lake Tahoe and was very impressed by their beautiful work. Not only did they create the traditional wedding florals, like bouquets, bouts and reception centerpieces, but the team adorned a flower girl basket with the sweetest, most perfect little swag, decorated an arch for the ceremony that was incredibly detailed and just perfect, and wowed everyone with the lushest garland on the wagon we used in the ceremony. The wagon was such a big deal, as the bride and groom didn't have many requests but were hellbent on having their nieces and nephew pulled in a wagon at the ceremony. As it turns out, the best wagon we could find was an ugly plastic gear wagon from Northstar. It was really utilitarian and (again!) UGLY so I found some inspiration photos online and just hoped that Brandie's team could do something to cover the grid sides. What they came up with exceeded anything I could have hoped for and took the wagon above and beyond what the bride even expected. They also provided the florals for the Welcome Dinner the night before and did something completely different (bright, sophisticated colors!) but just as impressively gorgeous for that event. Brandie is absolutely amazing! We are a bay area couple who got married in Reno at Tannenbaum on Mt. Rose. We met with a couple vendors while in town getting organized for the wedding, but the rest was done remotely. I liked Brandie's professionalism and style from the moment I met her. She has a huge breadth of knowledge when it comes to flower arrangements and was great at helping me narrow down what I wanted. I trusted her implicitly and was so excited to see such gorgeous bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and centerpieces when our wedding day finally arrived. She stayed within our budget which I thought was somewhat modest. The flowers, however, looked extravagant. We did some pre-wedding photos and needed our bouquets dropped off earlier in the day. Brandie and the whole staff at B&B design were so wonderful to work with for my July wedding. I found Brandie after doing my own research for florists in Northern CA. I fell in love with two things right away about B&B Designs: the quality of work and the professionalism of Brandie. Since our wedding was a "destination wedding" for us (we're from CA originally but currently reside in TX) the logistics of picking flowers and planning décor can be overwhelming, especially when trying to stay on budget. Brandie made it painless for us. She was able to meet via phone calls, help myself and my wedding coordinator narrow down our selection and think of every little detail that made our vision come to life. The day of our wedding, when Brandie brought in the bouquets to the bridal suite, I was speechless. The flowers were exactly as I'd hoped they would be, and even more stunning than I could have imagined. She also created the perfect greenery for our ceremony, which she then stayed and helped "flip" over to our reception. We got a lot of comments on how beautiful our flowers were. The best part was that we got to repurpose them multiple times. From the ceremony we moved them from to the cocktail and reception, we repurposed the bouquets and the arch flowers and then reused all of the same flowers the next day for the brunch. They were exactly what I pictured in my mind what I wanted. Brandie of B&B Designs was the most incredible florist who truly captured my vision and then topped it! If you are getting married in the Reno/Tahoe area - there is NO OTHER florist who is both reasonably priced and insanely talented - she truly is an artist. I'm from Los Angeles, so I found Brandie online and also recommended by my hair and makeup artist. I realized she was different from the beginning when she sent me an estimate for my flowers. Unlike other florists who just sent a text - based bill (i.e. bouquet - $250), Brandie went onto my Pinterest, posted multiple options for everything, and gave me a variety of prices for each so that I could work within my budget and have choices. She picked the most beautiful things on my Pinterest that I adored, and on the day of the wedding made them truly come to life. Another great thing about Brandie was that she was in email contact the entire year leading up to my wedding. Any inane question I had, Brandie would promptly respond. She really helped me create the vision of my wedding, and even helped me pick my colors! The day of the wedding Brandie arrived early and just did the most incredible job. My flowers were SO INCREDIBLE, my bouquets amazing, she did mix and match boutonnieres which were so cute, designed beautiful ceremony pieces as well as great centerpieces - a combination of single tall statement pieces and multiple mix and match vases for other tables. She captured the vintage rustic look I was going for exactly (think mix and match vases such as milk bottles, mercury glass goblets, mason jars and antique glass vases). The look was very chic - things you would see on "Style Me Pretty" and everything pinned on Pinterest under rustic vintage wedding. She also helped transform my mother's corsage last minute into a wristlet - good in bind. And did I mention that she was pregnant during this entire fiasco?! Brandie and team created the most amazing visual experience for my daughter's wedding at PlumpJack Squaw Valley last September. Every flower, bouquet and arrangement was so incredibly beautiful!
