Flowers are such a reflection of personal style, and one person's idea of beautiful can be completely different from someone else's. And with what flowers cost these days, you really want them to be right. My best friend's mom passed away that morning, and I wanted to send her something beautiful to brighten an incredibly difficult day. Nothing on the website was exactly the style I had in mind, so I called and spoke with Percy. I tried to explain what I wanted--soft garden elegant, stylish, beautiful flowers and absolutely no arrangement overloaded with filler. I'm very picky, and Percy listened carefully and was incredibly kind and caring. After placing the order, I actually came across another florist's website that was more representative of the style I had envisioned and started worrying that I had made the wrong choice. I emailed Percy with a little more direction and some examples of what I meant. She responded right away and completely understood. The arrangement was delivered the same day, and they even sent me a photo beforehand. It was beautiful--exactly the look and style I had hoped for. More importantly, it was something I felt good about sending to my friend at such a difficult time. Percy was wonderful from beginning to end. She listened, communicated, and genuinely seemed to care about getting it right. I really appreciated that. I highly recommend Sparks Florist, especially if you have something specific in mind. I will be attending more classes here because today was the only fun, but I learned about floral arranging and flowers that I can grow in my own backyard from guest speaker, Jessy Lozada of Reno Flower Company.
