And the good news is that George is totally focused on management and customer relations and supervision of his technicians, and he doesn't do any of the actual repair work himself, so he doesn't have that grumpy, overworked, and irritated attitude that you will find in so many service stations. He is super friendly and super positive and goes out of his way to help. I was struggling so hard trying to get my car smogged, and George actually took time out of his busy schedule to encourage me and advise me on that, and he even volunteered to scan my car's system periodically to assess my progress in getting my vehicle's monitors to clear. Wow. So unbelievably nice! I actually think that it was his positive attitude and his encouragement that kept me going and kept me from feeling totally defeated. And it was that infectious positive spirit which enabled me to finally succeed in passing the smog test. His guys have also voluntarily filled my tires whenever they have gotten low. They will go the extra mile for you, which is refreshing and super impressive for such a small neighborhood shop! Salesperson Tyler Jared was Rude, Aggressive, and Disrespectful, and Lied to me about them not having the vehicle they said they had. Another salesperson did sell me a truck. No qualms with him. At the end of the day I bought a "Brand New" 2026 F150 truck. They said they would wash it as we completed the paperwork. When I took possession, the truck was dirty and dusty from the outside. To add insult to injury, FORD gave me a "Shiny New Truck" with a broken rearview mirror adjuster!!! What Happened to QUALITY? I DIDN'T BUY A USED CAR!! My wife and I traveled close to 2 hours just to be grieved and treated badly!! Three days later I was contacted by the dealer. They said they "wanted to make things right". They offered to fix the broken button, fill up my tank, and let me borrow a vehicle while my truck was fixed... Ok, that is a move in the right direction.... I wanted to see how truly they value their customers and the lengths they would be willing to make "right/amends" for the terrible experience with them. I asked for a bed liner, side step stool, and bed cover. The GM agreed to the liner but refused the rest. They perhaps see an opportunistic person, but they fail to realize that my family and I were grieved and disrespected. They robbed us of the joy of buying our first new truck. Instead we went home angry, hurt and disappointed. For the GM: ATTITUDE REFLECTS LEADERSHIP. Took a picture of it while it was there, they let it sit in the wind for days with the hood up rubbing the roof so it chipped and scraped the paint on the hood. I talked to the mechanic at the time and he wanted to work on it but was told by the owner multiple times to not work on it as the other jobs were faster and brought in the money. Overall pretty disappointing. This was almost four years ago now and I'm still not over it. The work they did messed other things up as well for instance the electrical but I went to another shop to fix that versus waiting on these guys. Go elsewhere, you won't regret it.

No one even looked up from their computers or said anything. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that somehow they didn't hear me, see me, or see my vehicle pull in. I said "Hi" again, and no one still even looked at me. Instead, a gentleman with a long gray beard just pointed at the building next door and said I needed to go there. I waited for my appointment, and saw another person with a hat and curly hair come in and out. My appointment was at 3PM, and the receptionist said the person who would be giving me my quote was not in yet. I waited until after my appointment time, and decided to cancel and find a better place. It just so happened that the gentleman with the hat and curly hair was the one who was supposed to meet me at 3PM. Overall, this place needs an overhaul on customer service. There's a dozen places in the area to get your vehicle fixed, all with similar pricing and expertise. So why waste your time and money dropping off your vehicle at a place where you are not even given a greeting, and appointments are not adhered to.

Apparently this issue was more of a "Toyota…read moreCorporate" issue where if something doesn't fall to them being forced to updating it, they leave it up to the privately owned certified Toyota Service departments to decide if they need to replicate the problem in order to fix it. I'm sure this gets Toyota Corporate from having to pay out more money for issues that happen in fewer cars/models. In any case, I was given a link to report to NCDS where they arbitrate for free with Toyota (and other manufacturers). After they filed with Toyota Corporate I finally got a call from Toyota willing to then give permission for me to get the needed software updates before the case went into the "settlement date". I agreed to get the software updates at Toyota of San Bernardino and that was completed, but even when I dropped my car off there, it took a lot of having to supply all the information from Toyota Corporate for them to ensure I wasn't charged for it.
