Made an appointment to get a quote for a dent in my vehicle. I have never been to this location, so I wasn't sure where to go. I walked into the office, and said "Hello". No one even looked up from their computers or said anything. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that somehow they didn't hear me, see me, or see my vehicle pull in. I said "Hi" again, and no one still even looked at me. Instead, a gentleman with a long gray beard just pointed at the building next door and said I needed to go there. I waited for my appointment, and saw another person with a hat and curly hair come in and out. My appointment was at 3PM, and the receptionist said the person who would be giving me my quote was not in yet. I waited until after my appointment time, and decided to cancel and find a better place. It just so happened that the gentleman with the hat and curly hair was the one who was supposed to meet me at 3PM. Overall, this place needs an overhaul on customer service. There's a dozen places in the area to get your vehicle fixed, all with similar pricing and expertise. So why waste your time and money dropping off your vehicle at a place where you are not even given a greeting, and appointments are not adhered to. read more

Was recommend here from my insurance after I got rear ended. I'm going to start with the positive before the negative. I had Joe Morales help me. He was very friendly & fast. The reason I gave this review a 3 star is because communication was terrible. The girl in the front office sitting to the right didn't know what she was doing. I was told they ordered the part for my car & they would call me within 3 days to let me know when they received it so I can bring my car in. 2 weeks went by, I got no call. I ended up calling & they said the part has been delivered.... Ok so I brought my car in. They said it would take a day to complete & they would call me when my car was ready, they never called me. This is 20 years in the making, so it's about time, I'd say. Bought a Tacoma new 20 years ago, some dingbat semi-truck driver hit me on the front left while making a turn. I was stopped and my Taco actually moved back 3 or 4 feet. It had less than 3,000 miles on it when Tom Bell Collision repaired it. Still, I thought the vehicle would never be right, but it just passed 200K and the repair was perfect. Their work literally remade the truck as good as it came from the factory. So an update to this review, and I'm giving credit where credits due. The day after posting this experience with Tom Bell Collision Center, I was contacted by one of the managers (Chad) in regard to my complaint. I really appreciate that they at least care enough about these reviews to attempt a correction and that's cool. He offered to fix the problem and that's a pretty stand-up way to deal with things. I do understand that mistakes happen, but in order for me to have the repair, or should I say re-repair done, it'll cost me money in rental car fees and time as well as coordination of getting my wife's car there and picking up. I do appreciate the fact that Chad reached out and perhaps (doubtful) we will be able to get the correction done since it's more expense to us. The job should have been done right the first time and at the very least a better quality control standard should be in place before releasing a vehicle back to the customer. I don't know that I'd use these folks again, and that's too bad but this is a huge inconvenience to correct something that should have been done right the first time. read more

Tom Bell Collision Center came highly recommend by the Toyota Dealership in Redlands, and they were AMAZING! Last week, the wind was so horrific that (while I opened the driver's door) the door opened more than it should have. I could clearly see that the top door hinge was cracked or broken, and the door stopper completely broke off, and I ultimately could no longer shut the door. I was unable to drive it, and had to have it towed. After calling around, Chad Michael (the manager) was able to help me as much as possible over the phone and through email. He allowed me to email him photos of my car door, and he immediately gave me a rough estimate range on what the cost for the possible damages were. On top of his quick and friendly customer service, he ensured me that he would do his best to keep the cost as low as he possibly could (as he still needed to see the damages in person). I had my car towed there the next morning, and he kept me updated on the process. Chad and his team were able to save my door (which many other body shops insisted I had it replaced), as well as the hinges (one was cracked but he is a genius and figured a way to salvage and reinforce it). My husband had his Chevy Silverado sent here after an accident. At first we were pleased with the service. Then after a few days our door handle broke. We came In and it was easily replaced with our warranty. Speed up to a few weeks later, the door handle is AGAIN broken. We've tried to call to schedule the repair for the third time. I receive my car with them fixing the rear that was damage as I was referred by my insurance from an accident where I was not at fault. However, when I receive my car back fro the company I was shocked to see that my front bumper came back to me scratched that was deep into the paint (maybe a knife) which was new. I mention this to the company and they reviewed the picture. They themself said it was new and so now I had to wait another week for them to get that fix. I then received my car again and now a piece of my roof rack is gone. My new vehicle should not have damages in the front if initially the repair is only needed in the rear. Very unprofessional and unexpected from a car company. I have always been cordial, kind, and professional. After seeing new damages from a repair company; I felt attacked and unprofessional on their part. I just wanted my car repaired not to receive it with new scratches or damages. I today never understood why Bob or Chad. (I also heard someone in the back laughing to my phone call as I myself had to call in for updates since they said my car will be ready and it was not. Don't have them work on your car until you get a written approval. They repaired my car based on verbal approval by insurance company. When job was finished, they would not release my car because they have not gotten written approval by insurance company. My car was held hostage. Not cool service rep Scott. I can't say enough good things about the folks at Tom Bell Collision Center! A few weeks ago during our mini-vaca in Santa Barbara, our Prius had a small collision with a large storage container...and you can guess who was on the losing end of that. :-( When it happened, I got on the phone with my auto insurance company (AAA) and they highly recommended Tom Bell...stating that they had won numerous awards for service. I went with their advice, and was very happy I did. I arrived on a Wednesday and was immediately greeted by a fellow named Chad. He took very good care of me. All of my claim info had already been forwarded to them by AAA so they were all ready for my arrival. He took me around the vehicle and told me in detail what needed to be done and how long it would take. Within a few hours he had everything torn down and had an estimate for me as well as a day when it would be ready. Needless to say I was worried. Let me tell you, though...the car was ready early the day they promised, at the price they quoted me. Not only that, the car looks great as you can see from my before and after pics. I am very thankful that I have had very few accidents throughout the years (my last time was before Yelp existed) and was recommended by my longtime insurance company to this collision center. This team hit all the marks that I look for in a business. Everyone from the front desk staff-Darshay and Cassie, to the experts-Chad, Bob, and last contact with Willie were all friendly, professional, and responsive. They never left me hanging and wondering about the status of my car. I had filed 2 claims-1 from an accident, then a comprehensive claim, followed by a personal repair request. My little Nissan Rogue was detailed when handed off to me and looked like a brand new car. They even returned it to me a few days before the estimated return time and I was even able to drop off my rental with them because they are a sister business to Enterprise. I had a small rear bumper dent on my Toyota and my wife was going into the hospital for a long stay and Chad Bell was my consultant and got my car done in 7 days so I wouldn't be without it. Chad is a great person and took care of all the insurance problems so I only had to pay my deductible. Tom Bell Collision did a fantastic job and I recommend them highly. will not be going back to them for future collision accidents took a month and 2weeks to fix our camry that just had trunk damage and little front damage and when we got it back tools were in the back seat,missing pins to hold carpet where the spare tire goes the jax set got switched ours was brand new havent used it.they didnt put things back the way it came theres a scratch marks in my front gril that is "brand new" when they needed to replace my clear cover "bra" protection they failed to put it on all the places I specifically said i had them done,right door handler,my right piller, and my spoiler..the protection was done horribly cut so slopy and cut into my new paint on my front grill with the knife.they also scratched my leather passenger seat.the workers here especially the repair men seem not to care about your car just as long as its fix and repaired. read more
