I dropped my car off at 9 am on Monday to fix an issue with my car, 2022 GMC Acadia with 37k miles. The second time bringing it in for the same issue. The first time they said I needed a new battery, which I paid 500 bucks for, and it did not fix the problem. I did not hear from Hatfield regarding my car on Monday and finally at 315 pm on Tuesday I had to call them to get an update. The issue I brought it in for was not fixed. They could not find the problem as there were no error codes. I did take a video of what the vehicle was doing but they said they didn't need to see it as they said they've seen this issue a lot. So now I need to drive my car around until the issue happens again and then bring it in to be fixed. I bought the car from Hatfield and I would NEVER buy another vehicle from them. I also bought the extended warranty with Ally which is not great warranty coverage. I wouldn't buy it again. They did manage to fix a recall problem and when I was on the phone with Hatfield they said the car was being finished up. I went to pick up my car 45 minutes later and now I am in their waiting room waiting for my car to be finished. I'm so frustrated.... And nervous about breaking down in my car waiting for the issue to present itself again before getting fixed. I work nights and drive home at 2am....‍ read more

The customer service department is horrible. Last month I dropped my car off and it took 4 days to get it back. When the agent called me about what was needed on top of my warranty covered repair, I started thinking, here we go, offering more things to "fix". So the agent said that I needed to get an oil change and a new gasket or something which was going to cost me over $800. I told the agent that I literally just had an oil change about two weeks ago. And then I declined on the $800 repair they said I needed. Well, fast forward 3 days later, I finally get my car back. The repair should have only taken about 8 hours by the way. But it took them 3 days. And I picked it up on the 4th day. Only to still have issues after picking it up. I was told that I may have been comparing my car to the rental and there was nothing wrong. So my concerns were basically dismissed. Well, fast forward about 4 weeks, my cars engine light came back on and started flashing. I sent the shops manager a message on Saturday explaining my issues. I took the car in early Monday morning and I asked to speak to the manager. He checked my email while I was waiting for him to come speak to me. We spoke and he said that he was one mechanic down but he will have more info the next day. Well, I had to rent a car and that costs money. So they basically were dragging their feet for three days. When the other agent called me back Thursday morning, he claimed that they weren't able to find the problem and that further testing would be needed. So I asked how much and he said about $473. I said, ok. I called my mechanic, explained the situation and they said just bring the car in. So I called Hatfield back and told them I will not be getting the inspection and I'm going to have my car towed. Now the only reason I took it back there is because the parts/service still should have been under warranty. However, it took them 4 days to tell me they couldn't find the issue. Well, once my car arrived at my mechanic, he investigated, diagnosed and repaired my car in less than 4 hours. Yeah! Of course I wasn't happy of having to wait four days and still no real explanation or repair. But I am happy that my mechanic at Rollings Auto took the time out of his busy schedule to help me get back on the road. If you want to wait days and spend a lot of money for car repairs, take your car to Hatfield Buick Service department. If you are trying to save your money in this economy and need a reliable and honest mechanic, I advise you NOT to go there. read more

So for the last few weeks I've been looking for a half ton pick up truck, comparing different brands. Everywhere I go everyone has a mark up of 5 to 10K, which is ridiculous. They're claiming it's because of the chip shortage it's interrupting their supply chain which in turn reduces inventory. I happened to stumble on Hatfield GMC web page and saw they had the exact truck I was looking for, Sierra 1500 Elevation 4x4 with the 5.3, I send the inquiry and Lynn promptly responded. She told me there was a mark up of 1K on the truck but I qualified for $3000 in rebates. I asked her if there was any other hidden fees or add ons to the vehicle, she told me no and that the salesperson there handles the deals from start to finish. I went the next day to look at the truck, I liked it and agreed to their price. Rod helped me out. I was already pre-approved to which they did not fuzzed about as some other dealers would do. They didn't asked me if I wanted to see if they would match it, my rate was pretty low. There was no ushering you to the financial manager to upsell you a bunch of stuff. Really laid back and to the point. I was in and out in about 90 minutes. Best vehicle transaction I've had in a long time. Extremely disappointed with the service we received in the service department. Our 2021GMC truck would not start after dinner on Friday in Rancho Cucamonga. We were stranded and had to call a tow service. We had them tow the truck to Hatfield GMC where we purchased the vehicle. It was parked in front of the service bay doors. After leaving the truck my husband was uneasy because it was the only vehicle. As en experienced mechanic we went back and he ran the diagnostic scan tool to see what was wrong with it only to find out it was the fuel pump control module. He was able to get it started and we drove it home. We had an Appt today to have it serviced and was told because the check engine light was no longer on they couldn't look at it. This is absolutely unacceptable service. We are a loyal Hatfield customer and have purchased two vehicles here and have our routine service by their service department. There was clearly an issue with the truck and now we are forced to drive it not knowing if it will happen again. We tow our boat frequently and the thought of being stranded with our boat somewhere is not a feeling anyone should have. We are looking to trade in our truck for a 4x4 and would have normally gone back to Hatfield GMC but being turned away today without service is disappointing and we will be looking for a dealership with a better service department. read more

We've been loyal customers 4-5 years. My wife takes it only to your dealership. Her battery failed yesterday she spoke to a rep that stated her battery was under warranty bring it in. We had to charge the battery at auto zone where they offered to sell us a battery I declined based on the Hatfields reps word. This morning we made the trip from Colton we spoke to the rep who stated it was under warranty we had to pay $100 in labor. 2 minutes later they stated it wasn't under warranty and had to pay 300 plus. Left and went and had breakfast. Returned at 10:58 and they still had not taken my truck back to start the oil change. Went into the service office to get my keys and leave. Absolutely unacceptable service! had an oil change and tire rotation done on Friday, By Monday a had alight warning on dashboard to service "Tire Monitor System" called dealer and ask to have the GMC Acadia in so they can correct whatever they did during tire rotation, they told me it was a sensor that went bad and needed to be replaced, They did the work on the tires and now I have an issue? This is the 3rd time that something comes up every time right after having car service here. What are the chances? Worst, "they would not take any responsibility for their work" Now , it becomes my issue, and I have to pay for it. To add a slap to the insult, now they recommend to replace all four sensors, at a cost of $220.00 per censor. I wont ever take my car back to this place again. Do not know whom is in charge of this place now, but there is something "fishy" going on there, always to their benefit. Trully disappointed. read more

Service department is useless. Called to make an appointment to get my truck serviced. (2018 GMC Sierra) told them specifically what needed to be done because they're the third dealer I've been to and they confirmed the issue. After the opened the hood of my truck they declined to service the truck due to it having a cold air intake. (Which I prefaced on the phone the day before). Wasted an hour in each direction to be denied service. Don't go here it's a waste of time. Go to real dealer with more than 4 cars. GO TO DUTTON IN RIVERSIDE. read more

If I could only give zero stars, this is what they deserve. We have a 2021 GMC terrain at 80,000 miles. The motor blew up block warped head warped cylinder cracked with no explanation of why this even happened. We were treated horribly by Redlands GMC service, they never returned any phone calls. We had to drive down there every time they took advantage of us and every way it took them over three months to do our motor, it cost us over $17,000 out of pocket their workmanship was horrible. They did not do so many things and so many things undone. They had to make a house call to try to correct some of the things that they left undone. They did not wash the car when it came out the Director of service could care less, we have tried to speak with the owner never got in contact with him. Spoke with his daughter I believe who was along with everyone else in that dealership very intimidating and pushy. The only one that was genuinely helpful was Adrian in Service and he is just a monkey in the middle. Our radiator went out magically couple days after they were done charges $1800 there and because I give a review speaking of how all this went and what they did to all this what they do they take the review down and tell us not to come back no compensation for the $3900 in rental car bills, no consideration anywhere anyhow anyway horrible dealership. Do not take your car here if it is the last place on earth do not take your car here they will screw you. They will guarantee screw you like they did us and offer no reconciliation through all this, we did not even get a call from the owner of the dealership, even though we have tried to talk to the owner many many times we were kept from that I have never had such a horrible experience in my entire life with no reconciliation towards anything at all read more

So I took my Acadia to get it oil change and to check out why my steering wheel vibrates when I accelerate above 45mph and break on the freeway. The service guy is Adrian and he tells me that its because my break get hot. And didn't have it check because he didnt want to waste his mechanics time. My car is under warranty and he keeps telling me that its over 36,000 miles and that its because of the break. Yet he totally ignored the fact that the steering wheel vibrates above 45mph without me pressing the breaks which totally negates his "professional" opinions. I'm not sure that he purposely refused to have it check it out because he wanted my warranty to expire so he can charge me and since I didnt purchased my car at that dealership. This is the same dealership that was going to charged me $250 for the roof rack when the GMC website has it for $199. I'm not sure if the one they're selling me is made out of titanium metal or not. I was going to buy a car for my wife at that dealership, but after getting garbage service, I learned my lesson. They're not getting my money. I wouldn't even give it a star. read more
