I would not have made a big deal out of this had it not been for the original person's attitude. She should understand the difference between an estimate and a quote before making a bid or at least ask more questions before giving a price. read more

Blake and his team did an excellent job painting the exterior of our three story townhome a year ago. We had a few quotes for the work and B&B was the most affordable. They took care of color matching and obtaining all paint for the job, showed up on time everyday and were very efficient getting the work done without any inconveniences to us as they performed the work. The full job was completed in about 4-5 days and looks great. We just had them come back this past week out when some runoff from the roof deck caused some stains on one side. We are so happy and grateful for the hard work and care of B&B Painting! From start to finish, the team were professional and highly skilled. Blake completed the estimate personally and was present through the entire process. His team washed our home with care and did meticulous scraping, caulking and prepping. We had an excellent experience with B&B painting. After finding their information online, I contacted Blake and he offered to come give us a free quote. He was responsive and helpful in answering my questions. We had a big project painting our entire condo... walls, doors, trim, and all. The crew even replaced the old door hinges for me with some new ones I had purchased, as well as sprayed all the vents to make those look brand new as well. Before the project was finished, we were able to have the crew touch up a few spots that weren't up to par, hassle free. Brittany had done work on my sister's property, and I had been over to the house and visited several times with her. In our conversations, I told her about a recent experience with a flooring contractor who never communicated with us about a lot of the work. I felt comfortable with her and her team's work, so I asked her to stop by to provide an estimate for a bit of work on my own place. We talked extensively about the work we wanted done, and let her know we were in no rush to complete it. She even was giving pointers and suggestions along the way. She said give her a couple of days to provide the quote. It's been 10 days, and I texted her twice asking about status of quote with no response. I called Blake requesting an update, and he told me they were just too busy. It's disappointing to have been led on they wanted the work, then to hear 10 days later they're "too busy" when I didn't need the work done on any particular timeline. My feedback to Brittany and her team would be treat people with respect and value their time like you would your own. It's a simple act of respect that goes a long way in a world where good contractors are really hard to find. Update: Blake instantly called me after this review was posted and explained some other circumstances involved in this situation that impeded their response to my quote. He acknowledged his lack of customer service when he spoke with me on the phone regarding the issue. I told him I would update this review to 4 stars but that we were not a good fit for the work I needed to complete at my home. In this process, he had called my sister and left a very lengthy voicemail which I also let him know was absolutely not appropriate. He explained he would have taken action had I called him earlier, but it is my perception Brittany is an extension of his business and should act accordingly to avoid these misunderstandings in the future. Blake had come and quote me after I had spoken to a couple other companies. I thought I was going to need to paint the whole house, walls and ceiling after a friend had gotten to over zealous painting. Blake assured me he could color match and save me from having to paint all the ceiling. His guys came in and knocked all the walls out in 3 days and touched up some bad problem areas.
