Always listened and took care of my wife when she would drive her Lexus and as John some question or minor problem. He always took care of her. Thankfully I did not have to wait hours they arrived in a timely fashion. They got my car towed to Vita Automotive. They have no drop box but not an issue since I live close. They got my car in the shop. Now I was not expecting preferential treatment so I was not bothered that my car was not completed "now". My gut told me what the problem was and I had a rough idea of the cost of repairs so again not the least bit concerned when I was not called to tell me what the issue was. Bottom line Vita does good work they are fair and reasonable. I am a convert now!

I got a reminder from the meter maid and yessed him until I turned blue in the face. I did try to go to my guy in North White Plains after that fiasco- but those guys wrap up at 2pm. Here I am- scrambling and trying to avoid a ticket because I know I may not be as lucky that 4th time around. I thought about hopping over to Mavis- but you know how it is with those people. Decided against it and waited til I got to work on Monday as it's more feasible to get the job done during my lunchtime. Located on E. Tremont in Throggs Neck- Barcliff is the neighborhood mechanic everyone relies on. Long story short- Kevin assured me I can bring my car over and get it inspected. $37 later, I picked up my car with a full inspection. By the way- Barcliff ONLY takes Ca$h. I almost panicked because I didn't think I had enough cash with me- but double-check if you can use your card for other services. Other than that, I got what I came here for.

Gentleman I spoke to was polite and clear about the best time to bring the car in. Discovered some adjacent issues which they clearly highlighted in their inspection report (including pics) which I may fix another time, but otherwise mostly stuck to why I brought the car in. There was no problem or huffing and puffing around this, unlike other places I've been to in the past. Pricing was reasonable and they were honest about what everything should cost. Got everything done quicker than normal too. Definitely will use them again once my bucket of bolts gets screwed up again, as they were a pleasure to work with.
