Reasonable prices compared to other local laundry facilities, friendly staff. Highly recommended.

So I just moved to Alaska, so I'm renting an Airbnb, which does not have an indoor laundry facility and I found this place. First and foremost, they have Great customer service and a clean facility. When doing your laundry, clean facility is a must because that way you know they're keeping the machines clean as well. They have a nice waiting area watch television. They have books to read. They have a snack machine pretty much anything to make you comfortable for the next hour. Compared to another laundry facility that I went to this is the most amazing thing and sliced bread lol. HORRIBLY INSULTING AND AGGRESSIVE STAFF... I came to do laundry and take showers paid for 2 large washers and 2 showers and I went to go grab shower stuff however when I came back I asked how the shower worked she was very rude and short with every time I spoke with her ... she lied said she gave me tokens for the shower when she didn't I asked her to watch her cameras and she will see she didnt and she again yelled and cussed a me and said I would have to pay for the shower again . instead of her not watching the camera to see she was actually wrong .. her coworker took over being rude and refuses to give me a shower or refund for what I already paid for ...: I not once raised my voice and I felt bullied, attacked, and insulted... not to mention robbed .... read more

Was on vacation in Fairbanks and came here to do a light load of laundry on a weekday morning in February. With few people inside, most of the machines were open. Washer and dryer worked well. Price was good, although this may not mean much coming from a California native. Person behind counter was very helpful. Nice to see working vending machines including one for snacks and drinks. read more

I'm convinced that the good reviews are from the workers and owners. Place is always dirty. They never open on time. Always a good amount of mold on the washing machine doors because they are to lazy to remove it clean...and replace... really hard. Dryers take 50-60 mins to dry and they will still be damp. I have gone there for 2 years. Now I pay twice the amount but save half the time if not more bur atleast my clothes aren't dirtier than when they went it. Not even mentions the dog they have just running around and pooping inside. Beautiful husky but no body wants to deal with husky crap smell and fur blowing all around. read more

Today June 11, 2024 I had used a wash machine that I didn't know was only for employees as they only had a small tag on the machine & had been bent over so you couldn't see it. When I came back & was loading my clothes into a dryer the lady there came over to me all pissy & rude telling me not to use her dryer. I explained what was on the front of the dryer & she lied & said there was always a big note on the front of the wash machine. It was my fault that I didn't take a picture to prove her wrong. Bit she still wanted to argue like she was right so I called her a bitch. She said she never called me a name, yet bitch is not a name. Bitch is a descriptive word. She's a woke libturd who when she can't hold an intelligent conversation she says I was calling her names. Never go here folks. read more

While the showers do seem to be clean, if you can possibly avoid this place for laundry, do so. This is obviously an absentee owner sucking as much money as possible out of the place while delivering as little value and service as they can get away with. It's far too small for the machines they have crammed into every nook and cranny, with dated with worn-out equipment. They really should change the name of the place to "Out Of Order." The machines that are not out of order are left full while the customers wander off to do other stuff. Commendably, they have put some social distancing policies in place, but the poor over-tasked employees can't possibly keep track of what's going on. read more

So first thing first. This Fairbanks and things here are different than what goes on in the lower 48. There are quite a few machines and most of them are working. There are various types for various loads of laundry. There is no electronic payment because well some people still don't have those services and this place caters to them and the field workers, the back packer, and the occasional tourist. The front desk has been a great help; good humor mixed with sides of fun, sass, and pragmatism If you need to get your clothes cleaned this place will meet your needs. read more

So I was in town for business and had to wash my laundry. Hotel I was at had washers and dryers but where to small. I dropped in on this joint and this place had a nice vibe. Full of funny locals and pretty quiet for the most part. I was able to throw in a load of laundry and go down a few store and got a nice cup of Chai Tea for my wait. The lady and two men at the front where great! Super helpful and amazing. Its not a 5 star hotel, and if your from outta town and havent realized that most of this town is a little outdated. Well I cannot help you. But if your in Fairbanks and wanna enjoy the locals and get your cloths washed Id give this place a try. read more

Stopped in to do a few loads of laundry on a Friday evening. Lots of machines, plenty of laundry carts to use, decent number of people but not crowded. Machines worked well and the time went by quickly! There are also a handful of showers and small water filling station available. Decently priced machines. The dryers don't get very hot but they worked fine. Wish they had a little more seating available, but the place is pretty clean for how much traffic comes through. Gentleman staffing the counter was very pleasant and helpful! It's in a little shopping plaza next to a gas station, so good number of food options if you're looking for a bite! read more

Rude, rude, rude and unhelpful staff. Seeing several machines left full and cycles complete, I politely approached the front desk to ask for help. The person there sat staring into space, and in response to my request, said, "just wait awhile." Pressed for time, I took action and carefully removed the clothes from two stopped machines, carefully putting the clothes into two separate roll-arounds. Then, I loaded my own laundry and went up to the desk to buy tokens and mistakenly told the person there that I'd "made an executive decision," and removed clothing from washers. The person replied, "you shouldn't done that. Staff needs to do that." "Well, YOU, didn't help," I said, "and I asked you." I went back to my laundry task with the tokens. Awhile later, while I was transferring my washed clothes to a dryer, another employee, styling themselves "the manager" came and berated me for taking independent action in removing clothing from washing machines when they are left full, reiterating that "staff must do that." I explained that I had asked, that I was pressed for time, AND that I'd observed on other occasions folk doing just as I did. The soi-disant "manager" insisted, and threatened to throw me out of the place. I replied that they wouldn't need to, as after my laundry was done, I would not be coming back. I found this place to be dirty with very unfriendly and unhelpful staff! I have ZERO intentions on ever returning to this place.

Pretty bad. Dirty carpet, many broken washers and driers, expensive. Will look elsewhere next time.

Most of the staff is really good and gets showers as fast as they can except one lady. She takes her time and instead of keeping up with the shower cleaning knowing there is a long line she decides to go into the office area and eat. we waited over an hour to shower when there were only 3 people in front of us. She always seems to be stressed out, but it's because she doesn't do her time management right. I never had a problem with the other staff that would work except her! She has long black hair, and either looks Hawaiian or Asian. read more

We stopped in after driving in from Canada for a few weeks and needed laundry and showers. The attendant was very nice and helpful. The dryers are propane heater and worked well (.25 for 6 mins). They have a large selection of washers, top loaders ($3.50) and front loaders (4.50) and even a 50 pound washer! The showers were good, 4.75$ for 15 minutes of water. Stinky! Decent prices. $3.50 for a single load, $4.50 double. Must purchase tokens with cash/coin/local check at the counter. Dryer 6 minutes per quarter. Not clean or comfortable, but gets the job done. Also offer showers with towel rentals. read more

This place isn't the cleanest but there are plenty of machines. $3.50 to wash a smallish load, $1.50 to dry. The first washer I was about to use had a bunch of pet fur in it. I tried to clean it out but there was just so much. So I moved to a different machine. read more

Kids running around unsupervised almost completely. Running into you. Making you wait while lines of them cut you off and bump you and your stuff making it very difficult to get around on a day. It busy at all and very open. The dryers are a scam. I put $2 worth of quarters in to dry cloths and it didn't work so I got .25¢ back. She did not even ask what dryer it was or take note of anything to prevent the next customer from using a broken dryer. But that's okay because them letting you use broken dryers is operator error. Worst laundry mat in existence. Don't go hear unless you want to give them free money and not be able to get what you want done in a timely manner. read more

Not fancy or new, but clean and functional. Good variety of washer sizes. Staff has always been helpful when needed. Nice neighborhood to walk in and coffee shop, convenience store, etc. within a few doors are good for while you wait. read more
