I am so happy I found this place after almost a week of doing research about where to take my van for repairs. I went through some flood water that ended up damaging the belly pan. I called B & E to schedule an appointment and they got me in the next morning. Dave was such a nice guy and very pleasant! I told him I was ready to pay for repairs or replacement. He put the van on the lift to take a look. I waited and after about 15 minutes he called me out to look at it. He had repaired the loose belly pan quickly! He said it didn't need replacing and as he handed me the keys, I told him I'd be in to pay for the repair and he said 'we don't charge for things like that'. What?!? I was just amazed at the service! All it needed were some nuts to secure where it had come loose which I would've been glad to pay for but I wasn't charged a dime! I've dealt with many repair shops and been taken advantage of many times. It was so refreshing to deal with such an honest man! And also a man who shares his love of God (for those willing to listen)! Thank you so much! You have earned yourself a loyal customer if I ever need other repairs. Involved in a wreck. 2017 Mazda 6 GT. Very well maintained. Post wreck- sad! I knew it would NEVER be the same. Mazda dealer recommended this location. Very glad they did. I was extremely impressed with the transformation from a one-sided, ugly wrecked fender, door and rocker, to a side that had me sitting back saying wow. Completely impressed. I Had one simple concern the following day. I called and was then advised to bring it back in. 10 minutes later I was saying wow all over again. I highly recommend this company. They made the entire process easy. Their repair date was one day ahead of schedule. Very honest, reliable, and completely focused on customer service; moreover, take pride in their work! Decided to take my car here because they seemed like trustworthy people. Had a nice conversation about God with the owner. Gave me the estimate, showed me everything they were gonna do. Had my car for a week. Didn't do any of the work we talked about. Ordered the wrong part. In the long run they didnt do the work. still charged me the original estimate and just painted over a small portion of the damage area. The paint work was nice but I would never take another vehicle there. Nice people but no follow through and not trustworthy. read more

I had damage from two separate minor accidents on my truck and took it to B&E Auto Collision Center in Virginia Beach to get an estimate for repair in Oct. 2019. I was given a detailed and very fair estimate by the owner and scheduled a date for repair about a week later when the parts came in. I picked up my truck on the scheduled date and it looked fantastic! They did a great job and got it done on time. Love, love, love B&E. Kim is a breath of fresh air, is great to talk to, and did an incredible job keeping me updated through my process. Everyone I worked with was kind and knowledgeable. My car needed a lot of work, and after it was all finally done, I did have to take it back a couple of times for minor things. HOWEVER, they were all things that could be easily missed after having done such a huge job. AND each time I took my car back, they were great about getting things tweaked as quickly as possible. I even had a minor issue with an outlet in my trunk not working anymore, which was no where near the damage (thinking maybe something got unplugged during the work), and the owner was kind enough to walk through the process of elimination with me, and helped me figure out the issue (apparently there is a button to control the outlet's power, haha, silly me). My car looks just like it did before the damage, and runs beautifully. Dealing with the aftermath of an accident is a process, and I am grateful to have had B&E on my side to walk through it. ***SIDE NOTE: I think it's important to stress that delays aren't a collision centers fault - there is a national back order on so many parts right now, and EVERYONE is feeling the pain -- the mechanics, the customers, the people providing customer service, etc....so please keep that in mind when you're feeling frustrated. NEVER FORGET you are talking to another human being, and treat them as if you were on the receiving end of everything that is going in this process. The collision center has terrible communication between the female office manager and the owner. I spoke to he owner about the lack of communication and he assured me that it would be addressed. My vehicle was in the shop for over a month and it came out fantastic. I was given many updates not only on my vehicles progress but the progress of the insurance company's payments to the mechanic as well. The professionalism and courtesy that was granted to me as a customer is beyond gracious. I am glad I chose a "mom and pop shop" over s big corporation. read more

This place is AAAAAMAZING. I absolutely LOVE ma and pop shops so picking this place was a no brainer. The front desk receptionist is an absolute sweetheart and so is the owner. They put me at ease with the whole process of my car repairs. I brought my car in for body work due to someone side swiping me on the highway and this was my first encounter ever with a body shop and they simply knocked it out of the park. They got my car done a few days earlier than expected which was AWESOME!!! And let me tell you about how my car looked after being in their care. My car literally looked like it wasn't in an accident. The color match was PERFECT and the gashing hole in my front fender was a thing of the past. My baby is all better and that is thanks to their keen eye for detail and stellar customer service. Great business. Honestly could not have been happier with their work, the staff, etc. Extremely friendly and military friendly. I had undercarriage damage to my vehicle from hitting something in the road. I took my car to the Jeep dealership and they told me I would need to replace my whole gas tank because the "stone guard" as I call it broke off one of its mounts. Called my insurance (USAA) and they recommended I go to B & E Auto. The owner personally greeted me and thanked me for my military service then after looking at my vehicle, explained that he could repair it for less than $50 as opposed to the thousand dollar job of replacing my whole gas tank. I was out in less than an hour. Being in the military I have been to many mechanics and body shops in many different parts of the country and this is the best experience I've had. read more

They are honest, friendly, and do beautiful work. My car had some pretty bad paint scuffing from a "bump" (I wouldn't even call it a fender bender because the fender didn't get bent). I got three quotes and went to them as one of them based on a personal recommendation. Not only were they friendly and honest but they also had the most reasonable prices. Referred by USAA after we hit a deer on I-95 while driving south on vacation. Called when they opened on Monday morning. They scheduled me in for an estimate at 10am that morning. Very helpful, up front and transparent about pricing and scheduling. Ended up waiting to get fixed until we got home because they were booked until the next week. They offered to do an emergency repair to make us road worthy, but--even better--were able to get us back on the road before 10:30 for free and even offered free deer whistles so we wouldn't have the issue again. read more

I recently used B&E to repair my scratched & dented bumper based on a recommendation from USAA. It started off well enough and quickly took a turn for the worst. They quoted me 5 days for the total repair - seemed a bit high but I went with it based on USAA's recommendation. I dropped it off at 9am on Monday morning and planned to pick it up at 4:45pm on Friday. One hour before I was supposed to pick up my car they called and said that the "repair didn't look right" and now they had to replace the entire bumper. They had to order the bumper and my car would not be ready till Tuesday. That was an extra four days added to an already lengthy repair time. I called to check on the status on Monday and they said that it would "most likely be ready on Tuesday". I called again on Tuesday an hour before my car was supposed to be ready and they said my pick up time had been changed again to Wednesday at 5pm. After 10 days of holding my car hostage I finally was able to pick it up - much to my further disappointment my seats were damp and my car reeked a mildew! It did not arrive at their establishment that way and I was disgusted to pick it up in such a state. It smelled as if they had left the windows down in the rain and let the car steam in the summer humidity. If I could give zero stars I would and I will most definitely never return or recommend B&E. read more

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. Based on USAA recommendation my car was brought to B&E. Originally the car was supposed to be fixed in two weeks but then they ordered the wrong parts = 1st delay. I was on my way to pick up my car after the first delay, calling on my way there to find out the car was not ready. They did not even notify me, I had to call them. Apparently they "found something else" = 2nd delay. My car rental that covered my car insurance ran out because they took over 3 weeks to fix my car. I am still waiting for my car. I reported to USAA B&E's untimely manner and unprofessional services. I hope USAA revokes their support of this establishment. read more

Dave and team at B & E Auto are fantastic, ethical, talented, communicative and hard working. I trust them with all my auto/body needs after the ordeal I went through, being in two car accidents in less than 3 months. The front office is so nice and personable. I found them because they were top rated by my insurance company. My van was totaled from a rear-end collision and I took the offer from the insurance company to retain to own (with a salvage title since we had no intention of getting a new one, unless it was exactly the same). Dave encouraged me he could rebuild it for the price he quoted the insurance company, plus he would back the work with a lifetime warranty. Some parts were on backorder, but he got priority somehow. He also cut costs wherever possible so he could come in under what I paid to have it rebuilt (because there are always issues uncovered when you have a vehicle taken apart). At the end of the day, he got my van in perfect shape and under our net bottom line. In the middle of all this, I was involved in another collision with my other vehicle. We were waiting on a cosmetic part to come in for vehicle#1. He put it back together in less than a day so I could drive it until the part came in and she was back to 100%. In the midst of all my bad luck, I was so taken care of by Dave and team. Highly recommend them to anyone! read more

I had a Honda CRV that had been hit from behind. When I received my vehicle back I felt like I was in a ServPro commercial. "Like it never even happened" The people at B & E are the best in the business. They are honest and hardworking.
