The blueberry ice cream is the best EVERRRR!!!! Also I need to mention their BIGG selection of food! Anything you can think of they probably have lol! Amazing service and loved that they both an indoor and outdoor area to sit and eat your food/ice cream

Heading home to Indy from Cincy and saw a little sign off 74 (next exit, 3 mi west!) so decided to try it. Cute road stop place and had high hopes. Outside counter service as well as several seats inside. I ordered outside to eat in the car with my doggo. Asked the server if the mushrooms or o'rings were homemade or frozen. She said frozen. I asked which were better and she said O'rings, so I went with that. Also got a cheeseburger. Paid then asked if they had pup cups (because they have ice cream and shakes) and she said yes, which I said how much and she said "60 cents but don't worry about it" and gave me one for my dog. The o'rings we actaully pretty good but not a huge portion. The burger was a little disappointing -- clearly a little frozen patty and not the "homemade grill" experience I was hoping for. But it was fairly inexpensive so that was good. The pup cup was a very generous amount of vanilla soft serve - and my dog loved it! My guess is that their ice cream and shakes might be pretty good. #yum #ReviewsByRL

Unfortunately my first experience under new ownership was less than impressive. Ordered take out on a Friday afternoon - your standard burger and fries. My cheeseburger came without the cheese. and the lettuce topping was non-existent. See photo. The best part of the meal was the french fries. In addition to my meal, I also ordered a double cheeseburger that arrived as a single. Wouldn't have been as big of a deal if my meal wasn't incorrect as well. Upon pickup, customer service was also a mess. Longer wait time and a confused team member who wasn't able to figure out how to complete the transaction/payment process. In my opinion, the restaurant staff hasn't received all of the proper training needed to open this early in the season. Overall, a rather disappointing experience, but I'm confident as time goes on, things will get better! Can't wait to head back soon...but next time, I'll just stick to ice cream!

Great creamy whip ice cream. Lots of topping options, hard shell dip, flavor adders, and ice cream flavors. Typical diner food, burgers, chili dogs, hot ham n cheese, plenty to choose from. Great little walk up window or sit down inside. Clean picnic tables with umbrellas. Love getting ice cream in the summer here.

Food was great - loved the old-time atmosphere and openness. Service was spot on and the ice-cream dish that was recommended was fabulous!

The ice cream here is always delicious! If you're getting a full family meal, be prepared for the prices, but it will taste great!

We started with the sauer kraut balls, pretzel with beer cheese, and pickle fries. All were delicious! The pickle fries have a great pickle to breading ratio, will gladly order these again! Some of the booths are German style, giving you a European feel. Madison, our server, was friendly and attentive. The servers know the regulars by name and welcome them warmly. We sat in a booth near the kitchen and could hear a lot of laughter coming from the cooks in the back. The place is jovial. We ordered the Chicken Dinner for Two ($32) which includes about 10 pieces of fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and choice of salad or slaw. This was a massive amount of food and could easily feed a family of four. The coleslaw was delicious, the best I've had in a while. The slaw was creamy and tart (not too sweet). The hand-breaded chicken is a winner in my book. The breading is crispy with lots of seasoning, especially pepper. The chicken is hot, moist and tender - perfectly cooked. This is some of the best fried chicken in the State. The potatoes and gravy are an indulgent treat for me. Yes, I had seconds. The green beans are cooked with bacon, yet light. My husband really liked the beans. We took half the meal home for dinner. The menu is German- themed, combined with traditional Hoosier classics. The Tenderlojn sandwich they serve put them on Indiana's Tenderloin Trail. I wanted to try the sauerkraut balls and pretzels, but I was too full. There is free street parking. There are tv monitors to watch the games at the small ball. Brau Haus is totally worth a visit.

We decided to check it out for breakfast. It was delicious, and we've eaten there a few times since and always have a great experience. We both have been wanting to try some of their lunch specials, but we work and can't get there to check it out. We were off today and decided to go there for lunch because they were having chicken and noodles, and that's one of my favorite meals. It did not disappoint at all. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed our meals and even ordered seconds to go, so we could have it for dinner. The chicken and noodles came with mashed potatoes, corn or green beans, and a roll. You could definitely tell the food was homemade too. Delicious! The Farmhouse Diner isn't a very big restaurant and can get pretty busy. It reminds me of a little country diner where all the local farmers and their wives go to eat breakfast and lunch. The staff is always super friendly and attentive too. We will definitely be going back.

We split their better than anyone else's (even mine) breaded tenderloin sandwich, fried mushrooms (homemade) and later will polish off a piece of homemade carrot cake. The tenderloin was freshly hand battered, as were the mushrooms. The batter was crispy and light, and enrobed a nice thick piece of tenderloin. If you are a tenderloin fan like we are, you gotta try it. Big enough for both of us with some leftover for later. Our takeout bag included salt, ketchup, and plastic ware. What I didn't expect is the bread and butter that they also included! I knew from reading the reviews that every table gets this bread service. I was very impressed that they included it in takeout. We will be back soon, and I hope to try other menu items. But that tenderloin is sooo good, it will definitely be a struggle to order anything else.

We looked at the menu and we all decided to get the same thing, the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. I had the sandwich with onion rings and coleslaw. The tenderloin comes on a bun with pickles, tomato, onion, and mayo. I asked them to leave the mayo off of mine and they did. I chose to put mustard on mine and it was on the table along with ketchup. They have Pepsi products and I ordered a Dr. Pepper. My husband had the fries with his tenderloin. They were incredibly quick on getting the meal out to us. Everything was piping hot! Our waitress was good about checking on us and refilling drinks. Also they have bread service and we had fresh hot bread with soft butter prior to getting our meal. My tenderloin was meaty and pretty good, hubby thought it had too much breading. Coleslaw was ok. Onion rings were good. Someone came over to our table to ask if we would like one of their homemade desserts, I am assuming he was the manager. My friends took home a piece of carrot cake and they said it was good. The other offerings they had on this evening were peach cobbler, blackberry cobbler, and a couple different cheesecakes. Overall it was good and we decided we would go back again to try something different on the menu.
