Took my wife's car in for a tire patch and I was in and out of there and I appreciated everyone's customer service. Called today and no answer, but within seconds I was given a call back. Tried to get a tire patch but unfortunately the tires condition was too bad. They had a tire for me and set me up. I was hoping for a patch and not a new tire but thankfully and I still appreciate getting a deal on the tire. Thank you guys and I'll be back for my other three tires I need replacing! read more

these guys were great I had gone to the b&g in Middletown and they were horrible. I got there at noon and told them what I needed done they say we are going to lunch for an hour come back then. so I wait the hour and the owner says we can't take you we are too busy. I had done business with them over 10 years, not anymore. the owner was creepy too. They are not associated with the one in Clearlake. The guys in Clearlake had on uniforms were professional and quick and did a great job. read more

This place is full with con artists. I took my car for 4 new tires and a wheel alignment they called me back and said they can't do the wheel alignment because of my axel. I pay them to fix my axel $884 and he says I'll give u the wheel alignment. I go to pick up my car now it's squeaking . He tells me it's the other side which wasn't doin that before I brought him the car , so I say wait didn't u do the wheel alignment which means u had to go to that side and do a inspection , he tells me he never did a wheel alignment and that's what I asked for . So either he messed my car up when he did the alignment or he lied to me and said he did the alignmen and never did either way THATS BAD BUSINESS and I will be callin the better business bureau... The guys at B&G consistently impress me with their welcoming manner and outstanding customer service. In one instance, during a change out of shocks and struts, when a part broke due to no fault of their own, that is, due to loss of integrity by rust, a manager immediately called to inform me and one of the mechanics spent half the day on the phone to seek out the part locally. Once the part was found and retrieved, they had my car ready a day-and-a-half later. I can't praise this crew enough! read more

Was up visiting my mom in Clearlake, and when checking the air on my RV tires I noticed that two of them were much lower than they should have been, and on top of that, once I checked them, the valve stems started leaking. I looked on-line and saw that B&G was literally one block down the street, I called and they told me to come right down and they could check my tires for me. I got there and they waved me right in. I immediately had two guys out there looking at my tires, they skipped most of the pleasantries and came out ready to work with new valve stems and tools in hand, and just started working on my tires. At one point there were actually 4 guys out there taking care of my rig, it felt like I had my own pit crew! They got all my valve stems squared away, and got my tire pressures all perfect. This was a huge relief, as I had a 10 hour drive home the next day. Thanks so much guys! I had a much better peace of mind while driving home, since I didn't have to worry about the tires! read more

I had a flat on a tandem boat trailer. The tires were from 2000 so I was prepared to replace all 4, due to the age of the tire. However, JR inspected the tires and thought they were in great shape. He had his staff remove the tire & investigate the leak, which turned out to be a stem. He replaced the stem and sent me on my way. The shop is unbelievably clean and organized. I'm going to contact JR first for all of my future tire needs. I'm new to the area and really appreciated his honest, professional, approach that saved me $358. read more

The older man with white hair, the "manager" is RUDE. I went in for an oil change, the front doors were CHAINED locked at NOON on a Monday. I walked around the side to see if it was a special closed day for service yet they were working on cars in shop. I then saw the aforementioned male, coming out from said shop, and I asked "Are you guys not open today?" His response "THERES PEOPLE AND CARS ALL OVER THE PLACE RIGHT?!" Loudly. So I was like "well the chains on the FRONT doors say differently to me". He then yells to me "Well IM NOT GONNA LEAVE IT OPEN FOR PEOPLE TO STEAL ALL MY TIRES!" I said well, I DONT need the attitude but I DO need an oil change... He told me to go inside the SIDE door and he'd write it up......Inside he wrote up order and said they'd call when ready, (I'd be next, probably 30 mins) before they started on mine. I said ok please make sure it's locked when finished. 4:15 rolls around, still no call, they close at 5, I call, another guy answers says yeah he "thinks" it's done. I ask can you MAKE SURE? He checks and yeah it's ready. I get down there 5 till, same old crab, says barking to his worker " how many pints this thing take!" Then says " I'm SUPPOSED TO MAKE IT HERE TILL AUGUST?!" " IM NOT GONNA MAKE IT" Very uncomfortable and very unprofessional. A worker told him good night, he ignored him. Then I go out to my truck and it's UNLOCKED AND WINDOWS DOWN. In from of the DOORS HE HAD CHAINED because he's afraid of THEFT?! THANKS!!!! Needless to say...... I WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!!!! Nor will ANYONE I KNOW. read more

Amazing shop! Great people! Definitely recommend! My boyfriend had just got 4 new tires from discount tires in pacific beach Ca, before our trip to Tahoe for New Years. Then when leaving a tire blew on the way back to Eureka, as well as during a huge snow storm. We then go to the discount tire in Reno have it fixed and go on our way. Then hit Roseville same thing happened! Got it fixed. Then almost to Clearlake happens AGAIN!!! Thank god we found this shop. They check everything out and found that discount tire LEFT A STICKER that was letting a slow leak happen. Absolutely ridiculous. I was there 11/26/2016, the Saturday after Thanksgiving just passing through on the way home from holiday. Multiple other shops were closed, but after calling B & G we headed their way. Giant signs saying they are under new management- can't compare to what it was like before as this was my first visit, but could not have been more satisfied. Drove in with a punctured tire. Within minutes they had the car blocked and up on a jack taking the trouble tire off. About 15 minutes and $20 later, had a repaired tire and we were back on the road. Very expedient even with numerous customers being helped. Seemed like a busy place but we got fast personal service. Nate the new manager was very personable throughout the transaction. read more

I highly recommend these guys. My pregnant family member was passing through town on the way to see me in Fort Bragg. She blew a tire IN THE RAIN, and forgot her phone and wallet in the Bay Area. She managed to cruise the car a block away from the shop. The manager Nathan. I know his name because I called and thanked him after this incident. Saw her from a distance. Ran out to see her, assessed the situation and then had his guys get to work. She called me from the shop and the guys took me at my word that I would pay with my card on the phone. They had her back on the road faster than most tire shops would have taken care of it. I was blown away by their compassion and professionalism. They had the supplies to patch a hole in a tire that another shop didn't have. They were fast and inexpensive. Thrilled to not be told "oh, that can't be patched, you have to buy a new tire" as has happened elsewhere on other occasions. read more

Beware of this business; beware of the "Marvin", the door slamming, phone slamming scum who manages this operation. They put new brakes on, front and rear, and right from the start, they were loud and smelly. I took it back, they did something to it, and said it was fixed; it was not. I took it back again, and this time was yelled out of the store by Marvin, who refused to honor his warranty, although my "new' brakes had less than 1,000 miles on it. I took it to the B&G Middletown store, where the technician said my new brakes were 50% worn, and other problems existed, and wondered where I had received such poor quality. Marvin also lost one of my hubcaps, and intimated I was scamming him when I reported this to him. His loud, profane yelling at his employees was upsetting to hear. I had no choice but to have the brakes replaced by another shop, who detailed the poor quality material and wrong sized material used by Marvin's store. Also, it appears the Marvin overcharged me; his brake job cost me $400, the replacement cost me $250. I now know why Marvin's operation is usually without any customers, while most of the other tire places in Lake County seem to be thriving. The morale of this story is" BEWARE THE MARVIN!" read more
