Out of all the places to go to - I went with Cloverdale Automotive and Tires because of their reviews and boy, I'm so glad I did! Craig and his crew were awesome and very honest - my engine gave out and it would cost me a lot of money to have it fixed, my vehicle is an '09 Subaru Forester - I was supposed to go on vacation with my cat and now not only I don't have a car, my plans could have gotten cancelled but they were so kind and patient with me, I was able to stay there until I was able to get my situation all sorted out. I'm not a local, I live in Vallejo - I just got a new car and if I get problems I would not mind driving to Cloverdale to give these awesome people my business!!! It's so hard to find honest people. The customer service at the Membership Services desk was the worst we've encountered at any Costco. The employees we interacted with were unhelpful, lacked knowledge of Costco's policies and procedures, and did not handle our issue professionally. As long-time members, we expect a higher level of service. We hope corporate management provides additional training so future members receive the outstanding customer experience that Costco is known for.

We continue to buy the Humboldt Bay Coffee ($18 for a 2.5 pound bag) and a 2 pound bag of Black Oak Coffee Roasters for the same price. Both are excellent In addition they have a good selection of Mendocino Spirits and I highly recommend their Low Gap Bourbon. AS with many things we do we have some rules that help us get out of Costco with our pocketbooks and dignity intact: 1) NEVER EVER go in hungry. That 25 gallons of dill pickle chips is much easier to resist on a full stomach.... true story there. 2) Avoid the free samples. People seem to lose their minds with this stuff. They abandon carts with crying babies, block isles, etc all to get that tiny portion of hummus. I have been shoved aside by someone desperate to get a free piece of cheese. Honestly I have seen more dignity from actual starving people in a disaster zone but I digress. 3) Avoid the weekends like the plague. 4) See #1 5) Go often. Costco uses alot of psychology and the fear of missing out is one of them. Odd items you must have pop up then go never to return. I CAN'T MISS OUT AGGGGGGG 6) Know your codes: At costco any price ending in 0.97 means it has been marked down. Any price that is not a 0.99 or .97 such as say 0.49 means it has a manufacturers discount. and price with an * on it means its done and will not be reordered so stock up. If it ends in a .00 or a 0.88 a manager has reduced the price at that location to clear it out. 7) When in an unfamiliar city head to the Costco. They always stock local items you can't find at yours (like two pounds of single origin Kona coffee for 30.00 at the Kilaua / Kona store etc.) and have cheap gas.

Hayley took my call and had a new OMG tire in by 8:30am the next day. When they got the tire off they told me they could patch the tire from the inside for $40. Since this is a car that frequently has grandchildren I opted for the new tire. I keptthe patched tire for a spare and the team did a great job installing the new.
