When I'm here I feel at home. Nice people, good eats, clothes, vintage arcade, history. It's good, and makes me really happy.

I've had Charlie Safari on my radar for a while and we finally took the kids here on Valentine's…read moreDay for a little family date. First impression and immediate note in my head is that this place is freakin' spendy. For the three of my kids, plus grippy socks (didn't realize that was a requirement) it was $93. Most play places are definitely not that steep. That aside, we had a great time here. My kids loved it! There's so much to do. There's an arcade, a climbing wall, multiple bounce houses, and a giant play structure with fun slides. Plus a smaller play structure for toddlers! We were here for almost two hours and they were so tired when we left (the whole point!) Also, LOVE that they have the Watering Hole here for adults! We treated ourselves to a couple of drinks while the kids had a blast. You're able to walk around with the drinks too which is awesome. The selection is kind of limited and the wine wasn't my favorite (switched to a local IPA after that) but it is a fun added bonus for the parents. We also got a cheese pizza while here and that was a little expensive too ($25) but it was actually pretty huge and it actually was pretty tasty. Kids were definitely happy with it. We plan on booking this spot for our son's 3rd birthday party in May and honestly the prices aren't too bad for how many kids they allow and everything they supply. Definitely adding this spot into our rainy day rotation!

I honestly can't recommend this place enough. I was completely blown away…read more From the moment we walked in, the level of professionalism and cleanliness stood out, especially for a kids' arcade and activity center. Everything felt well run and thoughtfully managed. One thing that really impressed me as a parent was the staff member monitoring the entrance and exit. He was incredibly attentive. He recognized us, noticed our child, and was clearly keeping track of who was coming and going. Of course, you should always watch your own kids, but having someone that alert adds a huge layer of peace of mind. We used a Groupon, and if you have ever used one, you know it can sometimes be a hassle, but not here. The process was seamless. A staff member radioed ahead for us, and by the time we got to the snack counter, they already knew what to do. No waiting, no confusion. We were set up immediately and on our way. That level of coordination was impressive. Every game we tried was working perfectly, including VR games, which is rare in most arcades. Even smaller details, like all the basketballs being available at the Papa Shot machines, did not go unnoticed. The kids' drop ride was a huge hit with my daughter, and the claw machines, which guarantee a prize, were a fun bonus, especially as a way to end the visit on a high note. The prize center was also well balanced, with reasonable ticket costs and fun options. They had some great games too, like rhythm games and classics, that made it enjoyable for both kids and adults. The real surprise was the food. We ordered pizza expecting typical arcade food, but it exceeded expectations by a mile. It was soft, fresh, and genuinely delicious, easily better than what you would find at places like Chuck E. Cheese. The entire dining area was spotless, which is almost unheard of in venues like this. Tables were clean. Floors were clean. Everything felt cared for. The service continued to impress throughout. Our food came out quickly, and when we finished, the staff handled all the cleanup. We actually went out of our way to find cash just to leave a tip because the service deserved it. We originally came for the full experience, including batting cages, laser tag, go karts, and mini golf, but honestly, even before doing any of that, I can confidently say this place is incredibly well run. Based on everything we experienced, I have no doubt the rest will be just as great. If you are a parent looking for a fun, safe, and well managed place for your kids that you will actually enjoy too, this is it.

There is a dining option available on site and the food/concessions is good for what it is. The age range of kids we saw is all over the place which is good if you have a mixed age group but also, if you're looking for something for a specific age group, you may be out of luck. This place gives Dave and Buster vibes but has both and indoor and outdoor component. You can earn tickets to redeem for items and I was quite surprised about how big of a venue was here. It was rainy and we stay indoors so I can't really comment on the outdoor components. Overall, I'd come back but it's not my "go-to" for indoor gaming/food activity.

Definitely the best coaster in the park! The day I went I was surprised that the line for it was…read morereally short compared to the Wild Thing steel coaster that is located up front. Probably because it is kind of hidden all the way back in the park. Wooden coasters are designed to be shaky and give that going off the rails feeling. It's sad that this one is a lot smoother than the steel one because those are supposed to be much smoother. Some tips. As with any coaster, the best seats are usually all the way in the back where you can feel the full G forces when you go down drops and sharp turns. For this ride, you are not allowed to ride it without shoes. No, there is no camera that takes your pic for you to purchase. There is a small shack at the exit that wasn't open so I assume that would of been it. There are no storage bins to put your loose articles in like glasses, hats, etc. You can just put on the ground next to the wall and pick it up as soon as you get off the ride. Minimum height requirement is 48 inches. Overall, The price of admission is not worth it for the whole park. Even if you chose to swim the water park part of it, I think it is still overpriced for most of the park is not maintained properly. Refer to my Wild Waves theme park review. I salute you Timber Hawk! You are the only great ride worth mentioning for the ride part of the park. Yelp 2015 Review #45 545 overall
