This place caters to groups very well. I came here for a work event , we had food , our own space and each of us got to race multiple times. The go karts are tricky to handle if it is your first time I wish they let you do a few laps before the race starts to get better adjusted. Me and my fiance went yesterday and the energy and just vibe of this place is a 100/10 everyone was extremely nice and welcoming! I haven't been go karting in years and Jake didn't make me feel bad about being scared at all if anything he hyped me and my fiance up as we raced mo was super nice and welcoming as well he checked us in yesterday and today and both times was nothing but laughter and smiles! do not come here if I could I would give 0 stars. We had my son's birthday party here and we had to come in person to confirm details because they would not respond to any of my emails. When we came we lear that we had to confirm the food again because they forgo. 2 of the games in the arcade actually work. we asked them why they weren't working and they said " the WiFi is to slow so you have to press it 10 times and then wait 10 minutes". Then many of the go carts have something seriously wrong with the. Sometimes they just stop. Never come here we also got food poisoning from the pizza. Very disappointing. When the karts work, which they seem to do infrequently, the racing is fun. The maintenance and operations and organization need serious work, our group of 9 showed up at 4:30pm on a Tuesday and they failed to fit all of us in for two races each within two hours. They got just 5 or 6 heats done between the time we arrived and the time that some junior racing league started at 6:30pm, forcing us to leave. We won't be back. read more

We came here for a going away party for some friends, and we wanted to send them off with some fun. It was very easy to get our reservation in and our host helped take care of all the arrangements for the party. We had a section reserved for our party and we prepurchased our food so that it would be ready when we got there. The food was pretty good and it satisfied the hunger of many tummies. The tracks were fun. Of course, I was not used to go-karts and I wasn't going too fast. Only in our second round did I get the hang of it and I was able to beat my original time. Worst customer service out there. We were told to wait 1.5 hrs for our race, when the time for our race came, one of the team members came to us and were told, "there is an event going on and if were to stay, there is another 1-2 hrs and we are still not sure if we would be able to do it". It's extremely overpriced. If you are a beginner, they will make sure you purchase 2 races. 1st race for beginner will be at a slow speed. Purchased 3 races and while we were in the facility (waiting to race) and advertisement on their screens promoted buy 2 get 1 free. Never mentioned and they don't do refunds. One person in our party became ill and was not able to race the last race and they were told no refunds. Sort of a scam and money grab. The bathrooms are a bio hazard- watch out! They slowed down my kart on all 3 occasions for no reason. I could do barely do a lap or two at decent speeds. Ended up wasting $90 (excluding travel costs) on nothing. It is not because I'm slow or inexperienced - I've previously competed in a K1 in another city and set one of the fastest times in the month. My son recently celebrated his 11th birthday at K1 Speed in Redmond with six of his friends. I was honestly a little hesitant to come here because of several bad reviews. However, I'm glad I gave K1 a chance because we all had such a fun and memorable time. I can see how someone can get turned off by interacting with some unfriendly or unpolished employees since I was greeted by one which could have set the tone for our experience but it did not because fortunately, all the other employees there that we interacted with were very helpful, accommodating, and welcoming. Thank you to the guy who talked our kid's through the safety rules, the helpful guy manning the flags on the track, and the one who had cool nails that I admired and complimented. I'm sorry I did not get your names but you all rocked and helped to make our experience brighter. I hope you give this place a chance. Their cars looked updated and safe by appearance and feedback from our kids who had a blast racing. Came in for my birthday with my girlfriend, got 2 races each plus my free birthday race. The place was empty, ran the first race alone, second race had some people. Apparently they had a reservation, i wasn't aware of, was told by one employee i could finish my last race with them, but was rudely told by another i need to "wait a little bit and relax" 30 minutes go by, anytime a empty spot was open, ANOTHER employee who wasn't working was allowed to race. My karting experience tonight was by far...BOTH the worst and most expensive karting trip. I took my family of 5 for 2 races, costing approx $330 with ($250 for 2 races, $80 for taxes, membership, and headsock) Of the two races, BOTH races were extremely governed. We spent over 50% of time at 10%throttle, approx 25% at half speed. And only about 2-3 mins of each race at full speed. $350 for that?! Aweful aweful aweful. I asked for my money back, but was denied. I have a better experience driving my car in bumper-to-bumper traffic. I WILL BE DISPUTING THESE CHARGES WITH MY CREDIT CARD since I was denied a refund. Came to K1 Speed over a decade ago for some family go-karting fun. The lobby area and place to get one's helmet for the racing was immaculate. My parents, sister, aunt, and I went out on the track together. I had the least driving experience of the batch of us, so struggled with it a little more than the rest of my family. I still had fun, the track was well designed and was simultaneously easy enough to navigate and hard enough to keep one fully engaged while driving. My sister lost control at one point and rammed into one of the barriers lining the track. She blacked out temporarily and the workers responded immediately. The safety precautions including helmet and seat belts did their job and she had no immediate brain damage. Still does not, thank goodness for that! I appreciate the workers were professional and took the incident seriously. Helped relieve the stress my parents were feeling a little bit. read more

We had a blast today at K1! We did a walk in right when they opened and were able to get on the track right away. The staff was incredibly friendly; efficient, and so helpful! They went out of their way to ensure our 10 year old got to race with other kids since he had done a few laps solo - and followed up with us many times to ensure we had everything we needed! Excellent service! It was a surprise outing for our 10 yo for his birthday and he had the best day thanks to the excellent staff! We enjoyed doing an adult lap too - it was thrilling and really active but felt safe t10/10 would race again! read more

I organize group events from time to time and I have about 12 people in the group starting with an email to customer service of group events and they advise me accurately and promptly by email. it was a very busy evening although k1 speed was short staffed I thought they did a fantastic job, we did have to wait a little bit to say juggled several groups of people but it was worth the wait we had a lot of fun and you purchased a group package which included food. The cost came out to be about $80 per person. The food is basic bowling alley food , chicken wings ings, chicken nuggets, fries, pizza, burgers, beer, candy and beer could be purchased with your food credit from the package, a food credit of about $15 per person no restricts that was convenient . I did tip the staff because once again I thought they handled our group very well and they were juggling several groups at a time very well for being busy and understaffed. My group of 4 was told a 45 min wait time, which was changed to 1 hour then 1:30 then 2 hours we had to sit in total. On our race, karts got stuck multiple times and some people had trouble with brakes. Then the staff told us that we were removed from one of our races, said "we don't know how that happened". It was a company event for us. First, the agent who helped us setup the event was not very professional: she never picked up the phone or responded the email and there was a lot of back and forth before we finally set it up. Second, we ordered a company package, which includes some credit for food, but the agent was very reluctant to bring food to us and we had to push him many times to bring food but finally he still didn't bring all the food to us. This attitude is very fishy and unprofessional. Also, the food (pizza and other things) are the worst i have ever had. And third, the cars are old and very hard to operate. Finally the price is just too expensive for the experience. Overall, we would never go there again! read more

I took my children to their birthday race. This place was pricey for one ride, so we did the three, making it cheaper and more fun. We were able to master the track after each race. Food is fundamental, but we came here for the go-kart race. The go-karts are high-speed. My children loved the go-karts and want to come back again. One side note: Most go-karts could never accommodate my more minor child. K-1 speed has one that can accommodate the smaller one, but they can not race with adults. My son loved that he could drive one go-kart alone, unlike other go-kart tracks, where a parent has to operate while the child sits next to you. read more

Called ahead - apparently the person I talked to was "corporate". They said , "during the week there is no wait, go ahead and go in." When we arrived there was a 2 hour wait. Ok - let's flex and reserve for tomorrowI'll do 8 racers and 4 racers. Person at the counter says, "Hold on, I need to ask my manager." They proceeded to struggle with scheduling for 25 min. Then when they came back had to rebook because they couldn't reserve for when they opened and they couldn't do it for 4 races. Only three. I asked why. "Corporate won't let us do 4." It appears that no one at the store runs the store. Then the person at corporate sticks the front desk people with the irritable customers after they've told them, "head on in - there's no wait during the week." When there's a 2 hour wait. It also appears that K1 speed drives only to the scheduling software regardless of what the "staff" at corporate or at the counter has to deal with. It's corporates goal to get as many people in the door regardless of what's happening inside the store. Buyer beware. Potential employees prepare to be treated like crap. read more

This place was so expensive and utterly disappointing, WAY too many people on the tiny track at once, you can't hear anything they're saying during the instruction video because the music is so loud, can't hear anything the guys working the track are saying, paid $50 to either be stuck behind someone who couldn't even drive the cart correctly (and was not pulled from the race) or get in trouble for being ahead for "blocking others" even tho ouch I stuck to the right every time I noticed someone was trying to pass. The blond guy working the track had the worst attitude and the rest were just unhelpful. Don't waste your money and time. read more
