SMH The topper is that my car came back BONE DRY with NO oil in it. Positive car was fully topped off as I had just stopped in for a fluid check at valvoline. Maybe someone came at night... stole the tools, and drained my car bone dry of oil, OR something nefarious has transpired. Great ratings and reviews. 55 minute drive from my home. Was worth every minute of it! Ryan got me in first thing. He educated me on my transmission. Showed me examples of components that made up my transmission and allowed me to ask a ton of questions. Shop was spotless and organized as was the waiting room. Arrived shortly before 8:00 and was back home in Kalamazoo by 10:00. Haven't experienced this type of service in a decade. I highly recommend Ryan and this location. I'm a car guy and I would not go anywhere else for transmission service. Will tell my friends and will come back. Work completed: transmission pan change out, new fluid, gasket and filter.

The last time I had that car there, someone "inspected" it while on the lift. I was told there was a broken spring that needed to be replaced ASAP and that the strut could fail with the next pothole. I was verbally quoted $1200 plus for the front stuts. I took to a different place and for less than $800 I was given the old struts back to find nothing broken. I can accept they charge what people are willing to pay, but I can't accept being lied to.

Made an appointment and was promptly taken care of at designated time while the alignment only took an hour. Van drives/steers fine. I am very satisfied. However, I would have liked a better explanation as to what was done or what damage was done, or just a "checked out fine". But when asked what they found, all I was told is that they did a front end alignment. Maybe I'm too old school. But I would recommend Ed and Dave's and will use them for my auto repairs; just ask more questions next time.

At one point I made the comment that we really treasured our mini-van: "With little kids I can't imagine living without our mini-van." Had my car in for an AC repair and oil change (using a jug of Mobil1 oil and a filter I provided). They overfilled the oil (used entire jug, vs. filling and checking). I asked why. The response was 'we filled it to the specs'; I pointed out that it never takes the full 5.1 quarts after a change; I've never needed more than 4.5 to get the dip stick level right. He then said that my dip stick was the wrong part and therefore inaccurate... not true. (I even checked the dipstick part to verify it was the right one.) I also called later and found that they will no longer accept customer supplied parts for repair, unlike Andy & Mark's policy.

After three "expert" techs and 90 days I got back a car that wouldn't start, locked in gear so it couldn't be rolled around, dead battery and a front tire with a hole so big I can put my fist in it (see picture). WTH happened? They said they could never start it so apparently worked on it in the driveway but despite never getting the car running their "estimate/diagnosis" was it probably needs a transmission module but they didn't have the software to reset or determine if it was bad... THE CHARGES: $600+. I left a car that ran and got back a car that didn't plus had a tire which looked like it was shot with a cannon and a dead battery. I can't recommend them for ANY auto repairs on any thing. Disappointed and $600 poorer.
