This is the first time having service done here. I dropped off a portable generator that wasn't working, it would not start. I had not used it in over a year and figured the carburetor was gummed up. Dropped off on Tuesday and got a call early Thursday that it was done. For a small price it was running like a charm. They got the old fuel out and cleaned the carburetor. I called B &M on Monday regarding my snowblower. My wife went to pull the rope and it tore in the middle of 8 inches of snowfall, while I was out of state. I called B&M and May was very polite and helpful! I dropped off my snowblower on Tuesday and picked it up on Wednesday 2/17/21 and May even helped my wife load it! B&M repaired it a FRACTION of the price that J-Tel in Worth or Pop's in Alsip quoted me. I felt like the other two places wanted to take advantage of me due to the snowstorm. I live a few miles from J-Tel and I will NEVER patronize them ever again! But not B&M, they truly are a small business worth supporting. They do quality work and are honest! My wife said it felt like she was dropping off her snowblower with her dad to fix. May and Bill are great business owners and I will use them for ALL my future small engine needs. B&M Incorporation was recommended by Sears as the place for lawn mowers repair on the same day. Bill answered the phone and confirmed that he can diagnose my Honda HRX217HYA the same day, then order the part if necessary. I was in disbelief because previously I called five Honda dealers in my area and Custom Service of www.Powerequipment.Honda.com. I received five similar answers--bring the unit to us, leave it at the store, it will be untouched for 7-10 days waiting in line. Then it will be diagnosed and parts will be ordered. In total it may take 2-3 weeks or longer if the parts are on backorder. So not waiting a minute I loaded my unit to the trunk and brought to B&M Inc. Diagnostics was easy. Replacement parts were not necessary. Bill fixed it and my lawn mower was back to the garage the same day. B&M Inc. is my place for repairs from now on. Bill eared my trust with his professionalism and willingness and ability to help. I wish I knew about Bill's deal on annual pre-season maintenance. These guys are great! My power went out and I couldn't get my generator started, I tried all the trouble shooting videos on YouTube- didn't work.
