    If you look at the bottom left of the window you can see the wood is completely gone from being so badly rotted. They fixed all of this mess

    They were close to the lowest price, but just seemed very professional so I went with them. Basically it was a gut call. There was no pressure to do it now. We had to wait at least a month after getting the estimate until we could go forward. They called 1 time to make sure we were still interested. During the siding and gutter installation they ran into several problems caused by the old siding and gutters as well was terrible replacement window. They replaced part of a roof that was the consistency of cardboard. They rebuilt the entire front part of the house around the window. They pointed out where the windows were not installed correctly. They pointed out where the house was built incorrectly. They basically showed me everything before they did it as the unexpected came up. For all of the extra work (quite literally my front window and large parts of the surrounding walls were held together with extremely rotted wood) they charged an additional $900. They probably had more in materials than that, but they felt bad about exceeding the estimate. They were purely professional in what they did as well as their behavior. I never heard anything inappropriate or rude. I have never used them before, but B&R will be my go to company for this type of work in the future.

    I called B&R Siding last Friday. Byron gave me a reasonable estimate and his 7-man crew showed up on Monday. They put siding on my back porch addition, lattice on the face of my front porch and repaired a window that was installed many years ago and was never right. They worked non-stop and completed the job in one day. My husband and I are very satisfied with their service and workmanship. They were even kind enough to hang my neighbor's shutter that had fallen off in a storm for no extra charge. We highly recommend B&R Siding. When it's time to replace our roof we will be hiring them again.

Leaf Guard was offering an online promotion to "Get a $100 Visa gift card with your freehome inspection, claiming "All you need to do is to have a Leafguard professional provide a FREE, in-home consultation." I made an appointment got 9:00 am. The representative arrived at 9:20. He took about an hour after which he emailed an estimate and asked if I had any questions. During his presentation he asked about my timeline to begin this project. I explained that there was insurance involved, that I had just started getting estimates and that I did not have a time frame yet. Nonetheless, he asked the same question 4 more times, and seemed increasingly distressed each time I told him that I did not know the timeline yet. I asked about the gift card. He denied knowledge of the promotion and demanded proof, I went upstairs while he waited, found the promotion online and printed it out for him. He then said I would have to sit through a 90 minute presentation in addition to the hour we had already spent. I agreed and showed him to where he could set up. He said the card would only be for $25 and that he needed to go to his car to get the presentation. When he did not return after 20 minutes, I looked out the window and his car was gone. I called the company and was told someone would call me right back. When no one called after 6 hours, I called again and informed them that if nobody responded to me, I would have to go to the Attorney General's office. The receptionist shrieked at me "Don't raise your voice to me!" When I responded that I had done no such thing, she hung up. I later got a series of calls from the local LeafGuard office demanding to know if I had a job and why I cared about $100. Those calls only stopped when I threatened to call the police if they called me again. Never let anyone who behaves so dishonestly work on your home.

It was a horrible experience…read more I had a good experience with my estimator to install LeafFilter and my appointment was set for Saturday afternoon. I was clear that I had a work lunch and that they weren't to arrive until 12:30. They arrived at 10:50, and when I wasn't home they proceeded to try to bang down my door so much my neighbors called me. They also parked in two of my neighbors with their van so the neighbors couldn't leave their driveways because they didn't feel like driving around the block to find parking. I called my estimator who called the manager and asked them to come back for install when I was home and to move their van. They claimed to manager that they weren't blocking a driveway (it was all on camera with sound). Then, knowing I wasn't home, they then broke in. They broke in through 2 gates (one of which was locked) and down a passage way and entered my back yard putting ladders up to my balcony. I kept contacting my rep from leafguard, as it was all on camera, and he called 2 managers. The managers called the workers (the rings were on camera) and instead of leaving, they stayed and started banging on my house and laughing. I then threatened to call the cops and called the rep completely scared because they wouldn't leave. It took them 1 hour to leave from the time I contacted my rep. I cannot believe that a company would employ men like that to work. It was totally illegal. I now have to find a new service and get a new estimate and start all over and am totally shaken up. My rep seemed like a great guy, but I have never seen anything like this. And 2 days later still never heard a thing from a manager or customer service, no apology or anything.
