What he didn't tell me was that, five to six feet from his attic ladder inspection, was an extremely obvious water pipe leak that had created black fungus on nearby wood. So obvious you could easily view without a flashlight. So what we have here is deceiving a possible customer by telling him he has a roofing leak when, in reality, a plumber was needed to correct the interior water pipe leak. It's a cheap ineffective option and prevents your attic from venting heat properly and can lead to long term wood or shingle damage from excessive attic heat during the summer months. Long story short, I wound up reaching out to Jose at Restoration Roofing and his crew came out to inspect my roof and the attic. They replaced the Cobra Ridge venting and were very efficient and thorough making sure everything was done correctly.
