Amazing food all around can't go wrong and they have a new location off Choctaw I love it

** UPDATE*** this establishment is SICK. To lose as an health inspector is ILLEGAL!!! And the fact that you have that much time on your hands to TEXT yourself imposing as someone else trying to prove a point how "clean" your establishment is, is ridiculous and absurd!!! And shows how disgusting your place of business really is. SEE UPDATED PHOTOS BELOW! On March 23, 2025 I purchased crawfish from B&T seafood and was absolutely horrified to find a hair scrunchie with actual hair still tied to it mixed in with my food. This is beyond disgusting and completely unacceptable. It raises serious concerns about the establishment's hygiene, food safety, and overall cleanliness. What made this situation even worse was how the business responded. When I brought this to their attention, they showed no concern, no accountability, and no professionalism. Instead of apologizing or offering any type of resolution, they responded with dismissive, passive-aggressive remarks, essentially telling me I'd be "surprised" by the things people find in food--as if a scrunchie with someone's hair in it is a normal or acceptable occurrence. I am disgusted, disappointed, and frankly, traumatized by this experience. Not only was my food completely inedible, but the business also refused to acknowledge the severity of the issue. They have made no attempt to resolve this--no refund, no apology, nothing. Their lack of basic hygiene and their unprofessional attitude make it clear that they do not value their customers' health or trust. I am filing this complaint because this business needs to be held accountable for its negligence. A hair scrunchie in food is not a small mistake--it is a serious food safety violation that should never happen in any restaurant. I expect this matter to be addressed immediately. I urge the BBB to investigate this establishment, as their complete disregard for cleanliness and customer safety is deeply concerning. Some of the best crawfish available. Team it up with a daiquiri, some shrimp and a neck and it's possibly the best thing in life. Staff is super friendly and the prices aren't bad either. read more

We found B&T Seafood on Yelp after looking at the reviews for their crawfish. Coming from California, we knew we couldn't leave Louisiana without having crawfish so we decided to check this place out. B&T did not disappoint! Their crawfish was juicy and was the best I've ever eaten. If you come here, DEFINITELY get the crawfish! Their shrimp, snow crab, and pig feet had lots of flavor too. The restaurant staff were really nice and provided us with lots of hospitality. 5/5 for food 5/5 for customer service 5/5 clean environment Definitely coming back if I ever get the chance to visit Baton Rouge again! read more

I was in the area during a recent business trip and found this place for lunch. It is mostly a take-out spot with a lot of folks coming in for the steam table dishes and crawfish of course. I dined during a weekday and was the only customer who ate there. Crawfish is prepared the asian way and not too spicy, just perfect to me. Their sausage was good, but the potatoes seem smoked and fairly dry and not really as good as your typical red potatoes. They also offer boiled shrimp and snow crab, basically everything is sold by the pound. Crawfish prices vary, but they were $5.29/lb when I went. Service was friendly which was cool, because I don't think they are in the best of areas. read more

My husband loves this place and we stop here every time we come through Baton Rouge. Crawfish weren't in season this time, but no matter. He really comes for the pigs feet, beef neck bone, and turkey neck. He says it's the best ever. I get the boiled shrimp which are really good gulf shrimp with heads. Wow! I must admit to not having high expectations for this deli and convenience store and restaurant combo lodged in a former Pizza Hut. We had a variety of different cuisines and the hot boiled crawfish looked and smelled great! Mom had a burger and fries which she said was really good and the fries hubby and I snagged were crispy and dusted with Tony Chachere's seasoning. My seafood gumbo was very tasty (and served piping hot!!) with big hunks of shrimp and hot Manda sausage, okra and was SPICY HOT to boot--a lot spicier than I would have made for the general public. We also had red beans and rice that was good but a little on the soupy side and needed more beans, however, in all fairness, we did come in after lunchtime and previous diner could have gotten more beans than broth. So my friend and I just ate here, trying to find a hole in the wall kind of place. At first glance you wouldn't expect this place to be good or friendly. We ordered the seafood gumbo and 6 fried shrimp. It was the best gumbo I have ever had. The fried shrimp was also something to dream about. The dinner was topped off by a story from the owner, Binh, about his life which let me tell you, is worth listening to. I love this place for boiled seafood. Everytime I'm in baton Rouge I have to stop by and get some. The crawfish is spicy but the seasoning is perfect. They evened have pig feet which a lot of places don't have. Gets an a plus from me. If it's busy be prepared to take a number for crawfish. They do get packed at times so beware. My first time going I had no idea we had to pull a number during rush time. We'll worth the wait. read more

In a nutshell: Great little mom&pop deli / convenience store close to the airport with seafood gumbo and catfish po boy sandwiches. 7 minutes to the airport, near a gas station. Friendly staff (Vietnamese owners)-- as I like to support the local businesses, I would definitely come here again. Highly recommended! read more
