Dan restored our leather sofa, loveseat and ottoman from worn and cracked to nearly new! After eight months, the new finishes still look and feel great. He completed the work in our backyard in a few days. He showed up when scheduled and his price was reasonable. More than anything else, we are so happy that our furniture has a new life!

The stitching on one seam came apart, and the 17-year-old leather seats were dirty, dry, and severely cracked on my 2002 Volvo V70. Dan was on time for the appointment, performed the repair on-site in just a few hours. He was friendly, prompt, and had reasonable prices. I am very impressed with the fantastic results! We had Dan refinish a cushion and back piece for a living room chair last week. If YELP allowed 6 stars that is what I would give. He does excellent work. With 49 years of experience behind him he is an artist. The cushions look better than new. Dan is reliable and very reasonably priced. This guy was great at fixing my leather sofa that had been cracking and peeling. I had to call around a few places til an upholstery shop gave me his number because nobody else does what he does apparently. We paid $2k for our sofa 3 years ago and the head rest started to crack and peel and when I got a hold of him he knew what to do. He came the next day and repaired the sofa by adding in a skim coat and texture to match the undamaged area. Then he matched the paint color EXACTLY and made it look almost perfect. Much cheaper than getting new fabric sewed on, and you can hardly tell its been repaired. A very nice man, a pleasure to have in our home with our kids running around, and convenient. He's old school so no website or Yelp page so I thought I'd add it on for him. read more

I have a dark leather sofa that had some claw scratches from our cat. I contacted Dan and sent him some pictures of the couch. He came by, looked at it, explained to me in detail how he can repair my couch and made me a fair price. Within an hour my couch looked like new. He was friendly, and courteous. Dan is super awesome!! I had cat sat for a friend and her cats had completely shredded a corner of my couch. He came to my home and fixed the couch to almost brand new looking. The only reason he isn't getting 5/5 stars is because he was pretty late and didn't call to let me know what was happening. My reddish brown leather sofa and loveseat had several black stains, a place where the leather had gotten shiny from sitting in that spot, and several places where the seams were torn. I was sure I was going to have to replace them. Dan and his helper repaired all of it right in my own home in a few hours. They were prompt, courteous, and did a fantastic job. One of them had quite a cut in the top section from wear, and both of them were cracking and starting to peel across the top of the chair backs. They polished the wood while they had it. Two to three weeks, reasonable price, no drama. David runs the operation and was easy to talk to from the first conversation. Knowledgeable, straightforward, no overselling. It's a family business -- his father is the upholsterer -- and it shows in how they treat what you bring them. I didn't fully understand how damaged it was until I got it back. Now it feels the way it was supposed to feel. Solid. Sturdy. You can sit in it comfortably without holding your breath. When I found the Bullet Upholstery company, they said they could install them for me, and only charged me 1.5 labor hours!! That's a GREAT ESTIMATE, especially considering all the work that had to be done!! The seats turned out TERRIFIC, and I couldn't be more pleased!! Considering an initial estimate of $3000.00 to reupholster both front seats, I ended up buying seat covers, and having BULLET install them, and my cost of buying the seat covers, and having BULLET install them I spent LESS THAN $500.00!! I highly reccomend calling BULLET UPHOLSTERY, and talk to Kathryn, and Justin!! They will take GREAT care of you!! You will not be dissappointed!!

He services the cars for Diamond Autosport down the street. He did the diagnostics and found the offending bad part and was honest that he didn't possess the right tool to remove and replace the part. At the end of the day, he recommended a different shop and showed me exactly what needed to be done. Super honest, up front shop and did not try to "experiment" on my vehicle. I will need my canvas replaced soon, and will be coming back here for that work!
