By far one the best burgers in this area of Montreal! I went there after a long shift of work, ending at around 9:30pm. As I was very hungry and looking for some comfort food, I decided on this burger joint that was on my bookmarks for the past 3 years. Needless to say, I was very satisfied. As I walked in this place, I was served by very friendly staff who promptly took my order. The service that night however was slow because they had to make the fries just for us. The wait for it was well worth though. I took "Le Farci" which is a burger with the beef patty stuffed with cheese; something that I've never tasted before. This patty topped with a great sauce and the crisp yet soft in the middle bun made it into a perfect burger. I also took a side of poutine, which was great as well. The fries were fresh and crispy, with just the right amount of sauce to melt that cheese. Waheeyyy!! Looks like I have finally found my favourite Burger spot in MTL! We decided to try this place out one Friday evening and what an unforgettable experience it was! The place is simple and comfortable with a sufficient amount of seating and the workers are all super friendly & hospitable. The menu has a variety of Burger options - I opted for the Picante (spicy) one with a poutine. The burgers are huge and super juicy, each bite is better than its previous! Just super delicious, succulent patties topped with their signature sauce and the full works of dressings - the spice level was definitely on point! I also loved the Poutine as the fries are hand-cut with potato skin - my favourite! Now for the best part of the evening... We enjoyed this whole experience in total darkness! Just so it happened, as the waiter was bringing out our order, the entire area lost electricity and it was pitch black. With everyone's phone lights switched on, nothing could stop us from devouring this masterpiece of a burger... it truly was an experience to remember! The owner even brought us over some drinks on the house, which was very kind of him. Best believe it folks, all these raving reviews are 100% true. Being halal foodies, we drove a half hr from downtown Mtl for this joint and were not disappointed. We had to get this to go and almost missed our train...worth it. 1. I don't even like poutine, but this changed my worldview. The gravy was very flavourful and the cheese was oh so squeaky good! 2. I got the Piquante burger with hot sauce. The meat was juicy with just the right amount of spice.. We were in a hurry so I didn't realize it didn't come with cheese - that and a touch of ketchup would have made it perfect it was still one of the best burgers I had ever had nevertheless. My hubby got the farcy burger. It was a kin to the Juicy Lucy which if you do not know has cheese inside of the burger patty and is phenomenal. He had it with caramelized onions and sautéed peppers on top. It was very flavourful and rich. All of the flavours played so well together. Also all of their buns are very well toasted and have black onion seeds and sesame seeds on top. Very interesting touch that pays off well.
