She explained that she was rude because I left a bad review for one of her favorite local shops over a YEAR ago on Yelp - Mr Chau Donuts, also in the Evergreen area. I had been contemplating getting my brows done for more than a year leading up to my wedding. I tried everything to grow them out and shape them into some semblance of a frame for my eyes, but let's face it...my brows just don't grow. I finally bit the bullet with my sister-in-law this past July (10 months after my wedding) and the only thing I wish, is that I had done this sooner! Maria at B'Fab Studios was a miracle worker! It's like I'm a whole new person with my new brows, I get so many compliments. People can't place what it is that is different about my face, and when I say I had my brows done, I get a perplexed look and then they lean in for a closer look and EVERYONE says..."They look so natural, I couldn't even tell" That is really saying something because one of my biggest concerns when deciding to get them done, was not wanting them to look "done" or "tattooed" or "fake." I got my touch up 3 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier! My brows are PERFECTION! or should I say "on fleek" (are people still saying that? I dunno) aaaannyway... Maria is amazing. The first appointment was the longest. She took her time to walk me through the process. Advised on color selection, looked at pictures of my best makeup eyebrow days and then got to work. She took her time marked, measured and lined up her guidelines on my brow perfectly. Then we reviewed and made some adjustments at my suggestion. She very patiently re-drew and whaddya know...I really should have trusted her expertise and eye! My suggestion was not right. She really does have a great eye for what shape goes best with your bone structure and face. We went back to her original plan..thank god! On a scale of 1-10 the pain for this treatment was about a 3-4. She uses lidocaine so it really minimizes any discomfort. Maria prepares you each step of the way. She tells you what she is about to do, what she is doing and how much longer until the next step. She makes you so comfortable, she is easy to talk to and super knowledgable. The whole first session took about 2 hours I'd say, and she provided very clear after care instructions. The touch up session only took about an hour. This time it hurt a little more...maybe hurt is not the correct word...it was more uncomfortable than the first time. I'd say a 4-5 on certain areas. We looked at my brows, decided to go a little darker and she worked to fill in any areas that needed more love. After so many years of frustration about my brows: trying to draw them on, feeling blah when I didn't draw them on, going on vacation and worrying about sweating them off or coming off in the pool, this is the exactly what I needed. It has reduced my time to get ready in the morning, even with minimal makeup I feel more "put together" and has been a huge confidence booster. I give my highest recommendation for Maria, more than worth the time and money spent! read more

I just had my final touch up after 6 weeks of healing. I LOVED my brows from the second I saw them the first time, through out the stages of healing and I love them now fresh and touched up. I think this is one of the best beauty decisions I've ever made. It saves me So much time in the morning not have to fill them in completely and go back and forth working on the perfect symmetrical shape. Maria is incredibly knowledgable, detail oriented and a perfectionist. Not to mention she has a GREAT eye for the perfect brow shape for your face- even though you've never met before. All qualities you want in someone who is about to tattoo your face! I showed her photos I had of my day to day makeup and that helped us decide on how dark to go. Her cute little place is SUPER clean, comfortable and cute. She is very sanitary using all new needles, tint and tools. She spent 45 minutes with me the first appt stenciling out the perfect shape, working and listening to me and my opinions. For those wondering, I did not think it was super painful at all and she explained before starting what it will feel like and checked often for my comfort level. She uses lidocaine to numb your brows first which really makes the process just fine! I recommend her to anyone who wants to look and feel amazing about their brows AND save time on their makeup! Oh my gosh I don't even know where to start!! I walk in and the place is so cute! Than I meet Maria and she was so sweet, At the end I felt like I knew her all my life. I felt very comfortable from the start and tattooing your face or body is pretty permanent for the most part and is very nerve racking, at least for me. I was super nervous that they would look too dark but she picked the best color for me and made my eyebrows look so natural. I have gotten so many compliments on them from people that knew I was getting it done to people that had no idea I had gotten it done at all. Update: About 2 and half years ago I went to Maria for microstroke eyebrows. She explained the process before and during the procedure. Always made sure I was comfortable. After care instructions were given and my brows healed beautiful. I failed to go back for my yearly refresher and my brows have since faded (2.5 years it's expected.)
