I alternated between a handful of facials- SKINLAB hydrofacial, dermaplane facial, and signature- and always walked out feeling like a brand new person. From my first appointment, Mia was friendly, knowledgeable, and walked me through the whole process and what to expect. She always starts off the appointment asking about how my skin has been doing, and if there are any concerns, she makes her recommendations, tells me what she sees, and gives me samples of products to try until I saw her again. Not sure if this was a membership perk, but it really shows how they care about selling you the right products for your skin type. Let me start by saying that I live in Hawaii and was gifted a facial from V & Co by my thoughtful sister in law. The sweetest! I've always had problematic skin mostly due to the fact that I live in a humid/sun rich environment, do hot yoga 4x a week and wear a mask all day for work. I desperately needed to curate a skincare regimen to retain moisture yet not be greasy/overlayered all while protecting myself from the sun and preventing breakouts and did not know where to start!! The receptionists were friendly. They promptly checked me in and offered me a drink from a stocked mini fridge beside them. The interior was clean, bright and aesthetic. My estheticians name was Tiffanie and she brought me in straightaway. She made sure I was comfortable and let me tell you that THIS GIRL EXPLAINS EVERYTHINGGG!! And not in an excessive way but in a way that makes you feel involved in your care by sharing her knowledge and recommendations. I felt like my face AND my mind got a five star treatment. Not to mention half of the things she recommended I've never heard of before...so you know she's doing her research and she is not gatekeeping her findings. She even sent me her recommendations later after I told her I have the memory of a goldfish. Highly recommend Vivian for the permanent eyebrow service! She offers combo, ombré and nano brows. This is my second time back to see Vivian( my first time was ~ 4 years ago). This time, we tried the nano brows and I LOVE how it turned out. It looks so natural with real thin hair stroke. Vivian was able to map out the golden ratio that's suitable for my face. She also solved my concerns of lacking hair at the eyebrow tail ends. The technique mimics just like my actual eyebrow hair! I love V & Co! From their super clean/cute space to their very friendly staff. Both my visits to V & Co have been amazing and results have been incredible so far. I bought the package deal of three Picosure Pro face treatments. My main concerns were my freckles since they were so scattered all over my face. I had my second session today and can't wait to see the final results after the third treatment. Ellie did my initial consult and first session. She's very calm and easy to work with! She answered all my questions and was very thorough when using the Pico on me. Cynthia did my second session today and she was very sweet and had superb customer service skills. She always made sure I was comfortable the whole time. V & Co's staff followed up with me via text after my initial session to ensure everything was good and to see if I had any questions. Last year I got facials consistently with Rae every two to three weeks and it really improved my skin barrier and made my skin glowy! I love how knowledgeable and caring she is. I was sad to find out that she no longer does facials only consult. However, I recently got a facial with Tiffany and it was a wonderful experience as well. I normally see Tiffany for my facials and peels. She does a great job making sure to listen to your skin concerns but also makes sure you're aware of any other concerns. Also, they just started offering lymphatic drainage massages and they're great! I got a full body lymphatic drainage massages by Mia and Tiffany and I felt great after! Do make sure to follow post massage instructions for better results. Mia and Tiffany both checked in with me after my massage to see how I was feeling and made sure i didn't have any questions. I have to say, one of my favorite small businesses. Why? Fair prices, great results, really lovely people across the board (from owners to estheticians), beautiful space, and great snacks! As a patron of one of the co-owner's former business in Fremont, I now frequent this one for my skin care needs such as chemical peels (one of the few in the Bay Area as a listed provider from Vi Peel), Skinwave hydra facials, etc. These days I'm sad I don't see Vivian for my treatments (she focuses on lip tint, microblading, etc) but I do see her out and about. Her sister, also co-founder, Nurse Valerie, does amazing work on lips among other things. Mia does great facials and peels and I am starting to build a relationship with her. Take a look at their instagram account or any of the photos of the inside of their space and you can just tell the vibes are great. Prior to committing as VIP member (you get discounted pricing on services, skin care, access to sales, etc) I did research among nearby contemporaries and let me save you some time: this place is it. I love that I can just text them when I need something (business hours apply) and they are on top of it. They are very transparent in pricing as you'll notice some others require you to "come for an assessment" before showing you their price list. I understand that everyone's treatment varies according to their needs and conditions but sometimes you just want to get a ballpark or preview of what prices to expect to pay. I also pay attention their clientele demographic-I've mostly seen asian (given the area) though I've observed other ethnicities and various age ranges. I've also seen male appearing clients as well. I also want to make sure to point out the friendly and accommodating personalities of everyone that works here. I've found as a newbie to medspas, some places can be a little too sterile or cold in their approach. When I go to V&Co, it feels very light and welcoming. Drank a lot of alcohol the night before and felt horrible. I saw they offered the Hangover Cure IV and many more great things! Nurse Cynthia helped me with my IV. She is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I was very nervous, but Cynthia reassured me and made me feel very comfortable. She is great! Before getting the IV done, I couldn't hold down any water or food. I had a bad headache and hated myself. After getting my IV, I felt better. It really helps! From the initial consultation, Mia was able to create a facial plan based on balancing my goals, lifestyle, diet, and realistic expectations.
