Sandy is truly experienced at what she does and is genuinely skilled at her craft. My first appointment was for a full set and here is what I thought: * very convenient location with ample parking and businesses in close proximity for shopping, eating, and fur baby care * her business is very clean with a comforting atmosphere, especially her lash table/bed *expects clients to follow proper hygiene protocol, as well as herself, and her tools are completely sterilized * Sandy thoroughly goes over what you'd like done, if it can be achieved and answers any questions * expect to be there for at least an hour-and-a-half because she ensures that every lash is applied correctly and perfectly put in place * she can carry a decent conversation or you can/may fall asleep to her soothing musical sounds in the background * when your appointment is over, Sandy goes over each service you got done and the prices with total so that there is no confusion Overall, this is the same experience every time, even when you get a fill, which makes me feel as if I got my forever lash technician. I found Sandy by chance on Instagram almost 2 years ago after having thought that lash extensions were just not for me. I didn't have a great first time lash extension experience with a previous artist, when most people I know usually think that lash extensions were life-changing and made their routine super easy. My lashes from the previous artist already started becoming sparse on the 2nd day and felt too heavy that my eyes kept getting irritated. I mostly preferred keeping a more natural lash look, but wanted a little boost since I sucked at putting falsies on. I was also never a fan of the uber volume/long lash looks, which seemed to be the trend in the area, so it was hard to find a lash artist that did the natural look well. Sandy asked several questions to make sure she was giving me exactly what i wanted. I like the very natural look and that's what I got. Her setup at My Salon Suite (such a cool concept btw) is so convenient and clean. You have a dedicated parking spot so you don't have to go looking around for parking. She gives you a code to get buzzed into the building. The suites are all separate and spread out so social distancing is easy. Upon coming in Sandy took all the safety precautions. Temp test. I got 10-14 in length, 2d+ (the multi-strand gives it the voluminous look), and cat eye for the win. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would! First, I waited forever to book an appointment. I contacted Sandy less than a week before my Groupon was set to expire AND even more annoyingly, due to my work schedule I could only go in on a certain day. (I know, I'm the worst.) Even still, Sandy graciously moved around her appointments on my requested day in order to fit me in which I very much appreciated. I was really impressed by Sandy's work space. Very clean and cozy, I felt comfortable right away. I knew nothing about the style or length of the lashes I wanted but Sandy patiently took the time to explain everything to me before we got started. I told her I ultimately trusted her judgment and I'm sure I'd be happy with whatever she did. When I saw my lashes in the mirror after she finished, I was actually just shocked- but in a really good way. I was BEYOND impressed with the outcome! My lashes were PERFECT: full, SO beautiful, and not heavy at all! The ONLY reason I waited so long to do this review is because I wanted to see how long they would last. She told me they can last 3, even 4 weeks. In my head I thought, no way- just because I'm the most low maintenance person ever and didn't think I'd be able to maintain them even though it doesn't take much. But here we are, almost 4 weeks later and they are still going strong! They have thinned out as expected but still look really good. I have been getting TONS of compliments since day one! I have been getting eyelash extensions for about four years and got one of the best experiences here! Sandy is extremely meticulous and skilled- she will make sure that your lashes look perfect before you leave the salon. Sandy made sure that i was happy with the style, length and curl before applying them onto my lashes.
