The new lockers and great sauna refresh were also a great improvement. My only real disappointment is that I wish more attention had been given to the men's locker room during the remodel process. On my visit today, there were two broken showers, a lot of mildew in much of the tile grout and on the shower curtains, two toilet stalls out of order, and the hot tub was not functioning. I genuinely appreciate the investment made into the club, and overall the remodel was a big improvement. I just hope cleanliness and maintenance continue to be a focus moving forward, especially with so many fitness options now available in the Las Colinas area.

It's super easy to get in and out of the parking lot which has plenty of parking. This gym has more of a luxe ambiance with it being a newer build and lighter colors. The women's dressing room has an ample amount of lockers. There are 5 toilet stalls which don't seem like enough but I never had an issue. There's another 2 stall restroom upstairs on the gym floor. In the women's locker room, for women only, is the spa experience with a hot whirlpool, cold plunge, sauna, and steam room. This is the most important one for me because I absolutely hate the co-Ed amenities in the other locations, such as Plano, Allen, ands Flower Mound. I could literally spend an hour or more here just relaxing. The 25 minute drive makes it totally worth it. The sinks and counters in the women's locker room are two huge areas with plenty of space for ladies to wash hands or beautify themselves in the mirror. Lifetime provides razors, makeup remover, Q-tips, & other items. Further down, there is a large room with two rows of showers. Maybe about 20? In the showers, they have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and shaving cream. The water pressure is perfect and you can make it as warm or cold as you like. Large towels are provided and so are small ones for anything else like the gym floor. The Life Café is huge! There is plenty of seating and lots of options for food and snacks. Behind the front desk is the stairs and elevator to go upstairs. As you go up the stairs, you can immediately see how this is a Luxe gym with the beautiful chandelier above the stairs. Once at the top is the GTX room with a divider. This room is kept a little dark, which I prefer to the brightly lit gym floor. Opposite of that room is the gym floor with all the machines and equipment in an open floor concept. The massage chairs and recovery station is to the far right and up into another room. The Pickleball courts are closed in and always full. The pilates and barre room are off to one side and then there is a cycle studio and another studio on the other end. I love that the alpha section has mirrors in front of the racks with the barbell. I still haven't seen the outdoor pool, I know it's on the roof or something. I still need to check it out. I've seen the indoor one, which is your standard lap pool. This gym gets super busy during rush hour so plan accordingly.

In many areas, the club shines - its strength and conditioning equipment, instructors, and health programming are unmatched and, most importantly, I've met great people. As good as the club is, and no doubt, great things are happening there, it's really expensive - and the last several months I have constantly been questioning if I should be paying what I do. I mentioned in my first review in July I felt the club was slipping. No question I have, and deserve to have, the highest expectations for this place but that comes from them. They promise us an "athletic country club" experience and charge for it - so I expect them to deliver. Over the last year, this club has been dealing with a serious member trend related to its big ticket item - the men's rejuvenation suite in the locker room, consisting of a hot tub, cold plunge, dry sauna, and wet sauna. Quite often, it's a wreck - as are other sections of the locker room. Wet towels and trash crumpled on the floor and in seating areas and in corners around this section of the club. There's sludge on sections of the floor at night after the big rush. Many of the men members of this club are acting like slobs - and Life Time isn't keeping up. I feel like the maintenance crew tries hard, but I've also seen them blow past the suite without even sticking their head in for a status check - as if they have other priorities than one of their biggest competitive advantages when it comes to amenities. I really feel like Life Time without this is mostly a four- or five-star facility - but this issue knocks it down several pegs. It's exhausting.

Members are allowed to walk around the gym, yelling into their phones and distracting other members. An employee continually allowed a friend to sleep in the seated area next to the tanning rooms. Like, he looked homeless. There constantly. This really creeped me out and I stopped coming because I did not feel safe, especially when I would be using the hydrochairs near the guy's sleeping quarters. Adden: Planet Fitness allows anyone to claim they are "trans" and choose which restroom to use.
