I considered this my Christmas gift to myself. I purchased a home and used B Moore Organized to unpack and organize. Most all was accomplished within 7 hrs and a team of five. Things to consider: It's an investment - time, efficiency and the sense of joy of an organized home should be considered the criteria as success. Handyman charges an hourly rate of $140/hr. In hindsight, I would rather a fixed rate by project. You can save costs here if are handy and have the desire to do things on your own. I spent more than I planned, because I didn't have the interest or capacity for such. I was a bit hands off and didn't get overly in the details. I had Just closed, eager to get settled. Everyone I've shown the finished product to is excited about how my project turned out and wants to do the same thing for themselves. I will likely revisit using them to help me edit and keep myself organized, which is a service they offer. I'm back to work off holiday break, with an unboxed home that's organized, but it will cost you. When I move again, I will definitely factor this service in my relocation budget. read more

We hired B.Moore to organize our kitchen, pantry, fridge and separate freezer and while things now are situated and organized and it started out well, it was a stressful and unpleasant experience. Overall, we found B.Moore to be lacking in communication and decisions were often made without us. Some of the issues we had: -Only one assistant showed up. When we pointed out that the estimate included two assistants (lower hourly rate than Brittany) she told my husband another client had come up so she changed things on us without telling us and deprioritized us. -Things were rushed at the end, with items still being left out, the floor littered with things and the team left behind a lot of trash. In the trash we found tea and dividers to some of the bins that were used. At some point recipes for some of the mixes were thrown out and spice packets were also randomly discarded we never recovered. -During the first visit, despite checking in many times, we were only consulted once throughout the day regarding some product and location of things. This should have been a red flag. When they left, it became very apparent to us that the way things were "organized" were not just things we had to get used to (which we were open to, like the location of plates or bowls). Rather our input had not been asked and things were not functional or logical. Items used daily were put away too high or in bins way below/to the back of the cabinets, items were separated because they didn't fit, there were large canisters with tiny amounts of food or tea in them for some reason, there were bins in the pantry that couldn't be pulled out/used without moving other bins, materials I had specifically asked not to be used were used, etc. It was clear that things were done for an aesthetic versus actually asking us what was important, what we liked and where we wanted things. -During the initial consultation, we specifically discussed pots and pans storage that would be included only to find Brittany decided to remove this (without telling us) because of budget. - Our original estimate included $800 worth of product. When we got the first invoice it included $1700 of product! Some were ridiculous decisions, such as labels and one shelf costing $200. Before we were done, we were over $2000 in product alone. Brittany justified this by saying there was more needed when they got into it but again at no point before or during her visit did she give us this heads up. The cost wasn't the problem, the disregard for the estimate and lack of collaboration was. -We spent the entire weekend after their first visit reorganizing things and making videos showing her what needed to be fixed. This took so much extra time and effort on our part which was the whole reason we hired someone in the first place. -Brittany became increasingly curt and didn't respond to my emails or texts or gave me a one word response. -Brittany made rude comments about my husband's protein drinks and gave me a finger wag with "no more chips". But half the chips were meant for our delivery folks and we did not want organized/pulled out of the box which I had explained to her when she arrived but was yet another example of her not listening. Hiring someone saved us time in terms of going to the store multiple times, and doing the actual organizing. There were a few changes that were both aesthetic and functional. We also acknowledge and appreciate that she took off hours to help address the underestimation in product and other costs. However, if she had taken the time to ask us more questions, discuss the changing costs and really listen this would have been a better experience. read more

I don't know where to start first. Brittany is amazing! She has worked with me the past two weekends organizing my 2nd floor after a total remodel. She does it all. She helps you decide what to keep and what to donate or trash, gives interior design help, organizes personal filing systems for your paperwork and she will keep a lookout for furniture for a redesign to meet your budget. I have never had fun doing this dreaded job and have avoided it for years! B.Moore Organized makes it fun and keeps me on task. Brittany is professional and worked fast moving things around and reorganizing my closets, dresser drawers, linen closets and rooms. If you always wanted that high-end look on a budget or you have a larger buget and know what you want, she can help you design your space perfectly. I can't recommend her enough. She is not done at my home. I want all of my house organized including the garage. I plan on having her back to keep me on track! I hired Brittany to help me with whole house organization this summer and I am so glad I did.
