Absolutely unprofessional front office staff. I scheduled an appointment in person for a check up, when I arrived I was told that I my appointment was actually scheduled for 2025 not 2024. The staff was completely unapologetic, and in fact blamed me for not wondering why I didn't receive any reminder emails. They didn't attempt to assist me in any way, even though I left work early to get my appointment on time. The doctor here seems like she knows what she's doing, but given that her office staff is a direct reflection of her, I would venture that she may make questionable choices about my health if she thinks this kind of customer care is acceptable. If you have a customer come in who made an appointment, but it is clear the staff that made the appt are the ones who screwed up, it is your job to make sure you find a reasonable solution not place blame on the customer. A reasonable solution, when you have inconvenienced someone is to make sure you don't continue to inconvenience them. How about asking the doctor to stay a little later that day? Nope the solution for this clinic is to let the font desk staff talk over the customer, place blame on the customer, and then not show any issue with not accepting responsibility. If you want to be treated respectfully and fairly, I highly recommend you find another eye care doctor. This one isn't worth the hassle. read more

First time visiting this office last week and I will definitely make this my go-to. A few things that warrant this rating: 1. The exam was thorough and the technology they use is updated compared to my previous OD office. 2. I was able to walk out with 3 different 10 day samples of contact lenses free of charge. The Dr wanted to ensure I had time to try them before making the investment. Contacts are generally uncomfortable for me and I've never had this option at other offices. 3. The cost of my frames with lenses was very reasonable. Could be the brand I selected, but I was pleased with the price. 4. The staff was great! Very professional and so nice. If you've been thinking about going here, do it! Close to home and great customer service. read more

I love this whole crew, and what a cute well-appointed shop and office. The wonderful front desk receptionist went out of her way to get me a same-day appointment and sorted out my needs and insurance. Soky was patient, supportive, and extremely helpful, and Dr. Bansal went out of her way to make sure my needs were addressed and my eye health explained in layman's terms. I'd happily come back anytime for my eye care needs, plus all kinds of cute modern and vintage-style frames. 10/10 would be back and recommend to friends and family. read more

Glasses are hard. I don't like having to choose frames in the first place, and on top of that, I can't see without my glasses.... Anyway, I stopped in here just to look, and found a really nice selection of upscale frames (I especially liked that they carry a local company called RainCity). It was still hard, but I have to say they they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my selection. Good customer service is a rare commodity these days and I appreciate it when I find it. read more

Do not go here. I just filed an official complaint with the State of Washington because of my experience with them. In a nutshell, I had never had an eye exam before and, while I didn't think I needed glasses, I wanted to set a baseline. I told the OD at B-Town that and she took advantage of my lack of knowledge. She gave me a BS prescription that, when I took it to two different legitimate eye care locations, Warby Parker and Costco, both places told me it was too low to be filled and that it appeared to them that the optometrist was taking advantage of me. It is clear that the B-Town office took advantage of me and, had I filled my 'prescription' with them, I would have paid between $600 and $750 for glasses I do not need. Also, one of the Opticians (not the one that is the office manager), twice told me the office would take an additional $100 off frames if I bought the frames from their office, but then when I asked for the $100 off while was pricing out my 'prescription' he said he had never said that. What? Twice he told me that. Why lie to potential customers? Seems like a suspect business strategy. I hate to think how many other people the office is taking advantage of. read more

Best eye care I have ever received continuous to be here at B-Town. Really a fantastic team here! They do eye health test here that I have not been able to find all in one place. Great selection of glasses as well. A true gem in Normandy Park. read more

I was getting my eye-care here, didn't notice a problem at first. Probably because of my health insurance. But recently I received a letter from the DMV that needed to be signed by my eye DR after I failed my eye test there. What B-Town eye care told me was it was going to take 24 hours and cost me $25! I didn't care how long it took, but the price made no sense! read more

B-Town Eyecare is probably the best eye clinic I've visited. Dr. Bansal and her staff are super professional and courteous. Everyone I interacted with genuinely cared about giving the best service could. They explained everything they were about to do, for what purpose and the importance of each step. I know this place is highly recommended and I do not know why. I went for a baseline exam in 2019 and they recommended glasses as I am in front of a computer. I opted not to. I went back in January of 2021 knowing that I needed something for closeup/ reading. They were confused, a little disorganized and the only time for looking at frames was odd hours and they wouldn't allow children (Covid protocols). That is totally understandable. I opted to go to Warby Parker and when I got my glasses, they made no difference. I ended up going to a new eye doctor who looked at my glasses and was dumbfounded- they had a slight distance prescription even though my distance is 20-15! I would let it go and not say anything except they recently sent me a bill for $10 from my January, 2021 appointment. Questionable service and bad billing/ record keeping means I will never use them or recommend them again. read more

Horrible customer service. It has been 3 months and they still can't get a prescription correct. They refuse to give a refund! All I want is to be able to see. Over $300.00 from me and my insurance and I am told "TOO BAD". Morgan has no customer service manners what so ever! I will never come here again and I will make sure anyone who will listen knows how they operate. read more

Cant say enough great things about this place. My 4 year old had a challenging prescription and diagnosis. Dr. Bansal and Morgan took excellent care of him. They were patient, detailed and extremely thorough. I felt like we were in the right hands the moment we walked in. The office is great and they are wonderful with kids. read more
