The one positive thing I can say for the clinic is that whenever I had a problem, they were able to fit me in and see me within 24 hrs, sometimes going out of their way to do so. I really appreciated that as I had a difficult year medically. But I had a number of problems with Cascade Vision. 1, they are *constantly* upselling, which I would have thought impossible for a doctor's office, but there you go. Every time I went in, whatever I went in for, there was always a necessary, over the counter product or not-covered-by -insurance procedure pushed on me which (surprise, surprise) they had available at the counter or through a special pharmacy. This gets tiresome. It also erodes trust in whatever advice the doctor is telling me about my condition. 2, I was having trouble adjusting to the glasses I bought there, for longer than the usual amount of time adjusting to a new prescription. I came back to have them checked out, just in case there was an error because everyone makes mistakes occasionally --that's human nature. The opticians got very snarky and overly defensive about that. A patient should be able to have their prescription checked out without questions. 3, I was misdiagnosed with a stye which turned out to be ocular rosacea. I saw 2 different doctors at Cascade Vision over about 3-4 months for this problem, at least a couple times a month, sometimes weekly. It seems extraordinary to me that they didn't recognize an ocular condition, which has the potential of damaging my cornea. The advice I was given (and of course, multiple products to buy!) to treat the "stye" was of course a complete waste of time and money and could have worsened the rosacea. 4. I had a diabetic eye exam and requested that the results be forwarded to my PCP. I had to make multiple requests over 6 months for that to be done, which is ridiculous, considering it could be sent in an email. read more

Don't go here. Ridiculously expensive after searching other methods. I went here once when I had insurance for my job and didn't think much of it. They kept sending me messages about doing another eye appointment (takes like 20 minutes) and I told them I no longer had vision insurance with my job. The quote was over $300 not including the contacts or anything. Called around and this money-hungry business (not trying to help people just cash in as much as possible) is charging WAY more for an exam than literally any other Optometrist out there. Not even close. I decided to do an eye exam online and it was $79.99 INCLUDING 6 months of contacts. If you don't have insurance....definitely don't give your business to them. If you do have insurance...don't give your business to them because you know they are just using and abusing the system. Go to Costco or literally ANYWHERE else besides here. read more

I had a good experience getting my eyes checked and evaluated for my new prescription. This location can evaluate for lenses as well as contacts which is great for me as I wear both, and they took my insurance!Additionally, some staff are multilingual, which is nice if you're needing translation help. However, I will say that more explanation/patient preparation of procedures would have been nice, and better communication amongst staff before coming into the room would have been appreciated as I was asked if certain tests and photos had been taken, but since I am not trained in optician jargon, I could not answer for myself and felt anxious due to this as I didn't know what was going on. Fortunately, the doctor helped me feel at ease by the end of my visit and I left with a couple of free gifts such as a travel thermos, contact lense solution, and an eyeglass cleaning kit. read more

I would not even give them 1 star, if I didn't have too. They are extremely unprofessional and give you the run around. My husband came here to have paperwork filled out for his CDL, and instead of doing the eye exam and filling out the paperwork, they were trying to make him come back 3 times and buy an expensive pair of glasses. We went to a place in Bellevue called Bellevue Eye Specialust. He got his paperwork filled out at that appointment and fitted for glasses. I had a really great experience here after a terrible and months long bad experience at Lenscrafters. So I went to Cascade Vision center and it was awesome in every way. They told me I could get my prescription /exam redone by explaining to my provider what happened at other place. So I got a new covered exam. And the glasses came out really quick, did not have to wait 3 weeks. The prescription is great ...no issues. The dr was great, really good. The staff was awesome. After cataract surgery I saw Dr Jason Sifrit. I was impressed with him and the exam he did. Everyone in the office was professional and friendly. The previous glasses that I had made at a local warehouse were never right so I decided to get my glasses there. They have high end designer frames so I mentioned to Lisa, the optician, that I was a bit concerned about price. She offered some less expensive frames. I found oneI love and got out of there for $300. Not sure if this was a great price but I got a quality pair of glasses that I like. I would like to express my frustrations with their service. My sister and I have been going to this place for about two years now. I recently introduced this place to my other sisters (when she could have gone somewhere else better). However, I was not informed in any way that you guys would charged her more for the so call "new membership service fee." We are receiving the same service. Thus, my total charged was $190 while my sister's charged was $285. The difference amount is ridiculously! The fact that I am introducing a new patient, shouldn't we both get a discount instead of charging us more. I'm very disappointed and upset that the place I thought was great staffs and price turned out to be the opposite. Now I will inform everyone in my family to never set their foot in there again. Dr. Kaur is very nice, respectful, patient, professional, care and compassionate. She did exam very thoroughly to my husband's eyes and explained all very good. She recommended what next treatment needs to be done. Their staff are also nice and friendly. Explained everything very clearly and answered any questions very well. My Optometrist retired about 10 years ago, and I was recommended to start seeing Dr. Sifrit at Cascade Vision Center. I was skeptical as this was a fairly new practice. So I made an appointment and conducted a kind of interview. Best decision I have ever made for my vision care. I had been suffering for years with "dry eye" before anyone knew there was such a thing. I had been prescribed so many steroid eye drops, I developed a cataract so severe it required surgery. I was 41 years old. It wasn't until I started seeing Dr. Sifrit that he suggested we try medication for a new condition called Dry Eye. My symptoms were gone within a month. Cascade Vision Center is on the cutting edge of diagnosis and treatments. They truly care about their patients, and the staff is absolutely outstanding. i recently moved to the area and looked on yelp for the closest but with a high rating Optometrist. Cascade Vision came up and i decided to give them a call to schedule an appointment. Was able to go in next day and get checked up and order new glasses and contacts. during the exam, Jeff Binstock was able to explain to me everything very clearly and in a way i would understand not only that i am healthy, but why i am healthy. Never really got an explanation on why but just being told i was healthy was "enough" information for the patient. Glad i was able to stop by and taken care of from start to finish. even had a hiccup on my insurance, but they made it very easy solutions and was able to get in and out in a very timely manner. The diagnostic equipment they have on hand is super sophisticated and I felt that Dr. Kuo's expertise was a great match for my (somewhat complicated) eye health. I had an eye concern that I wanted to have looked at as soon as possible. I called every vision center in Seattle and Renton but none of them had an opening. The best I could find was the next business day which was two days away. There were even some that had a two week wait time. Cascade Vision Center was able to fit me in on the same day and it was a Saturday too! I will forever be grateful for that! My doctor was Dr.Binstock. He was very nice and explained everything to me in detail. He seemed to really care about his patients. In fact, all the staff at Cascade was very welcoming and friendly. This is the first optical clinic I have chosen and as a first time client, I was dissatisfied with the waiting period. I have arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and I have seen the doctor after 45 minutes of waiting. I don't know if I have any right to complain about that but I am just saying so. About the doctor, I am very well pleased to be seen by him because he was very upbeat, informational, and caring. He clearly explained what I needed to know and what needed to be explained. The staffs are pretty good and accommodating. Overall, waiting time (as a first-timer) was the least satisfying experience (I truly believe this is always a patient's fault - some people just ask too many questions for their appointment time disregarding other people to bee seen on their appointment time). I looked over their website, which was professional and gave a lot of info. Decided to call for an appointment. No one actually answers the phone, so you have to leave a message. Except it never beeps, it just hangs up on you. Decided to try to book online. Found a Saturday with a couple different times available and set it up. Next thing I get is an email saying there aren't any doctors available despite the fact that it allowed me to book it and gave me 3 different times to choose from. Cascade Vision Center was absolutely wonderful. I was running late for my 4 o'clock appointment and they were welcoming nun the less when I walked through their doors. The front desk waisted no time in getting me in for my exam and were also very knowledgeable when it came to my insurance and what frames and lenses were all covered under my plan. For someone who hasn't had an eye exam in over 12 years it was all a bit nerve racking but Dr. Gurpinderjeet and her team made the whole process a pleasant one. I went to cascade vision center because my regular eye doctor was sick. I will now be making a permanent switch. The front desk lady was so genuinely concerned and jumped through hoops to help me and get me in to see the doctor. I also had my 2 year old with me. The nurse sat with her to keep her calm. I was so impressed with the doctor and the nurse. They were warm and comforting and seemed genuinely concerned. It's very rare these days to feel like doctors and nurses actually care. I also started with Dr. Beach and now see Dr. Sifrit. He is very thorough and clearly explains what is going on with my eyes. The office has state of the art imaging and measuring machines to monitor glaucoma and other eye diseases. Dr. Sifrit worked with me to get the contacts just right. I have my appointments in the morning and have never had to wait. Highly recommend them for all your eye needs. I fave not bought glasses there so cannot comment on the area of the office. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Sifrit's for over two years and I have been very happy with him. I have a complicated history with my eyes that requires I see a retina surgeon regularly, so I appreciate that Dr. Sifrit does not insist on dilating my eyes every time I go in. At the same time, he is clearly interested and concerned about the health of my eyes. He has done a wonderful job fitting me with the appropriate contact lenses and glasses. And the optical staff has been great about regularly adjusting my glasses when they get wonky. I do love this place. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for good, solid eye care. read more
