Ludovik was simply extraordinary. I originally called thinking I'd want/need a home visit (just because I am a tech dunce and didn't think I'd be able to eloquently explain what I'd need, and I needed quite a few things). I have used Ludovik's services multiple times and I can't sing his praises enough. First of all, he always answers his phone which doesn't happen enough in the service industry. He is extremely responsive and has excellent follow through. Secondly, he knows a tremendous amount about computer technology and has strong troubleshooting skills. And thirdly, Ludovik is very proactive. He doesn't just fix the immediate problem at hand. He looks for opportunities to perform updates, implement improvements, and increase efficiency. Ludovik noticed that I had many cloud backup solutions on my computer that were performing redundant operations. He recommended an optimal backup strategy and then implemented it for me. To build a safer city, I strongly believe Major de Blasio should build a new city department for computer emergency, so that there will be much less yelling, crying, cat-kicking crazy people angered by paralyzed computers hanging around. B4 Computers is a great service! I had a problem installing a new cooler in my custom built gaming PC. My computer wouldn't turn on. I called Ludovik the next day and asked if he could come to take a look and see if he could fix it. He said he could and a few hours later he showed up at my apartment and immediately came in and took a look at the computer. I found B4Computers via Yelp and am extremely pleased with their prompt turnaround, good communication and fair prices. Somehow, the WiFi on my laptop died. B4 quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. B4 is a drop-off spot within a cheap clothing store on a side street just south of Chambers. The store seemed a bit sketchy at first, but I took a leap of faith and left my laptop. The computer staff was not present at the store. The clothing store clerk put the owner on the phone, and I was able to tell him the problem I had. The owner was at the store last year when I had a problem with another laptop that died and was beyond repair. Spilled hot tea on my MacBook Pro laptop(2011). Took it to Ludovik (@ aforementioned garment store) who assessed $150 for a cleaning of the computer's internal components. I was skeptical that the computer could be repaired. Other shops quoted me at $300 for a similar cleaning so I went w/ Ludovik. After 2 days he informed me I needed to replace the MagSafe board for $50. Again I was skeptical since the computer wasn't fully diagnosed and I didn't know if I was going to replace every component. And I needed my computer back fast. The looming cost of replacing the logic board and keyboard could have been an extra few hundred dollars. But I agreed. The next day the computer was repaired, all components in working order. Total cost: $200 Time: 3 days from drop-off. My impression: Ludovik is knowledgable, honest, practical, and quick. In that time I've benefited from his company's services ranging from work on desktop machines and corporate IT systems network setup in my business office, to helping me resolve minor to major personal laptop issues at home, iphone/computer compatibility, as well as rebuilding and repairing my computers. And in that time I've had many, believe me. Be it parts upgrade, system clean up, hard drive or disk drive swaps, cumbersome backups - you name it. Just now I purchased a very expensive custom built machine for personal and business use.
