We got lucky and contacted BA House Cleaning and couldn't have been more happy with the results. After three years of accumulated grime, it was time for a deep cleaning. Anita confirmed our appointment and her cleaners actually arrived an hour early and were ready to get started. They wasted no time in attacking the dirt, grime, and dust and gave the home just what it needed. The cleaners did a fantastic job. All of the windows, mirrors, counters, bath/showers, floors, and stovetop, were spotless. I couldn't believe my eyes! They even agreed to sweep and clean the garage floors where were quite a mess. Needless to say, they did a fantastic job and delivered on their promise to leave you satisfied with the results. I had been very excited to have found a company who offered a Yelp Deal AND had such great reviews. I wanted to apply the Yelp Deal towards "move-out cleaning" costs but after purchasing the deal I learned that the company has exceptions as to when the Yelp Deal may be applied. As no changes have been made to the way the Deal is described, I do recommend that anyone who wants to purchase the Yelp Deal should first contact the business for clarification to reduce the stress and disappointment factor. I know I won't be "trigger happy" when making a purchase next time. I give this experience three stars because the one lady the company sent to do a "move out cleaning" worked very hard to do all she did. I gave the worker a tip for her hard work even though I saw that the downstairs baseboards were virtually untouched. When asked for feedback, I mentioned the dirty baseboards and they did offer to go back and do them but I had a tight deadline and had already taken care of it myself. The reason for a Yelp Deal, I'm thinking, is to introduce customers to your business. I had explained that I was moving less than five miles but there was no exception to be made on the (unwritten) policy. Upon my request, Yelp quickly refunded my purchase. read more

Our previous tenants had been well-meaning but a bunch of party guys. BA House Cleaning deployed a team of very smart, fast-working cleaners who dealt with tripped circuit breakers, washing and putting out our bed and bath linens, general mess, and much more. Just used them for our move-out cleaning and the cleaning crew did a fantastic job! Before I decided to go with them I must have called 6+ cleaning companies for quotes. From my experience most companies didn't itemize what's being included and what's not included in the move-out cleaning service and I had to go over each of my concerned items to ask them. Answers I got were either vague or they sounded like not sure themselves or they'll charge extra. I didn't like the feeling of booking a service without knowing what exactly are included. That's also why I like BA House Cleaning whose website clearly break out each item in their online estimate tool! I can play around with it to gauge the cost and service items. Their cost is very reasonable too. Unlike some cleaning companies who charge by hour and only provide 2 cleaners for the 3B2.5B Townhouse, they just charge a flat rate, which is easier to deal with. One tip about carpet cleaning though, I'd recommend to look elsewhere if you want your carpet be shampooed as well. Another carpet company starting with "K" offers the best price. On the service day Blanca and her team showed up within the 1-hour window. They're very fast and very thorough. They finished a lot quicker than I thought and they did a good job. The property looked sparkly new again! They're very friendly too and smiled a lot. The day was really hot and we offered them ice cream too! One star deducted because I couldn't recall I was warned about the 1-hour window while I was on the phone with Anita when booking the service. I think I was only told "they'll be there between 12:45am-1pm". While I was anxiously waiting for them to show up, I read the confirmation email again I saw those small prints about "1-hour" window at bottom. Additionally, the email confirmation I got didn't itemize the service items I booked or the total quoted price we agreed over the phone. I booked garage to be cleaned as well but apparently the cleaning crew didn't know and thought they finished without cleaning the garage. They cleaned garage too after I requested and I paid a little extra based on the estimate tool. It'd be nice if the communication were straightened out in the beginning. Update. My services canceled. The service was great the first year. Now it's crap. I asked and asked about them not being on time. They say give an hour on each end. More like three hours. They text to say they will be there or ask to come early and then don't show. Also, they only half the time do the "extra" service. I feel bad for the workers. Rarely is it three people as they said it would be. Usually 2 are expected to clean everyone's house in an hour and the cars being broken down has happened multiple times. BUT the cleaners always work very very hard and do an awesome job. This is a reflection on the time management and communication of the company itself. They didn't seem to mind me stoping service. Used their services for a move out cleaning since our move was hectic. There was no way I wanted to spend 8 hours cleaning the place from top to bottom. The ladies showed up half an hour early and got right to work. They scrubbed that bathrooms, the kitchen and did the floors and baseboards and windows etc. I should have hired them when we did a move in! They left the house two or so hours later and it was the cleanest I've ever seen it be. Left them a nice tip after since they made my life much easier!! The customer service leading up to, during, and after the cleaning was outstanding, with easy communication and text updates. A cleaning team of two showed up on time, got straight to work and did a thorough job. Cleaned all the nooks the first service missed, and some extra I was expecting. The coordinator for BA House Cleaning was prompt and helpful however some issues I experienced were: 1) The price quoted was not accurately calculated to my actual cleaning needs (the website questionnaire does not allow for enough detail to be provided for an accurate quote to be calculated). I let the coordinator know that I felt that the quote was inaccurate and she was kind enough to waive a portion of the fee. I do appreciate this however I still felt like I paid more than what the services should have cost. It was $200 for 2 people to clean my tiny apartment's bathroom and kitchen. They were there just a little over an hour and there were a few different places (above the fridge, the floor next to the oven, the wall just above the oven) that were overlooked and did not get cleaned. I had requested a deep cleaning service for the bathroom and kitchen but honestly did not feel that these rooms were cleaned comprehensively enough for the price that I paid. 2) After the cleaners left I noticed that all the numbers had been rubbed off the stove dials. This must have been apparent as the dials were being cleaned but I was not notified by the cleaners at the time and only realized once I went to cook something. The cleaners were pleasant and professional and I appreciated the coordinator's prompt reply to my email. However, I don't know if I will employ BA Cleaning services again and if I do think about it, the hassle of organizing and making sure everything gets done properly because those details aren't taken care of by the company is a barrier for me. read more

A year ago, I would have said they were a fantastic company to have as a cleaning service. Since then, they have added new management staff and a customer service calling center which has made their experience terrible. The owner Anita, never gets back to you and the clean crew seems to rush their jobs. I think the company has a lot more clients now and so the overall quality has gone down. I've had to wait almost two months to get an appointment for my 3 bedroom 3 bathroom home and I'm no longer going to wait for their scheduling constraints. At first, I thought the cleaning service was great, and arranged an every-other-week service which I continued for about 3-4 months. But on one particular occasion, the crew used an abrasive on both my stainless sink and glass shower door, leaving scratches on both. Yikes! Given that both are new, I was not a happy customer. And then I noticed that my cherrywood kitchen cabinet had a ding in it that I know was not there prior to the cleaning. I invited Anita to come take a look at the damage, but I had no response, so I discontinued the service. I know its difficult to find good housecleaners, but I'll keep looking! read more

The BA team was amazing. I needed my house cleaned in preparation for a big dinner event I was hosting. I'd asked them to clean the bathrooms, living room, dining room and my wood floors. They went above and beyond the call of duty. When I got home, they'd cleaned everything I asked and more. They cleaned my room, my daughter's room, and my kitchen. They even vacuumed our rooms. I was looking for a regular cleaning service after our move to our new place - once a month cleaning service. I went with BA house cleaning on a whim, because the day I booked I was sick and didn't feel like talking on the phone, and they were one of the few companies that I could book online with. The process to book online or by email is always smooth and courteous. I have had 4-5 cleanings now and the girls are always within the time frame, polite, work quickly and do a good job. I like seeing the same girls on a regular basis, as I feel better leaving them unattended for a few hours. I scheduled my first cleaning with BA Housing Company 2.5 weeks ago. In the initial cleaning, they did not wipe my counters or mop my floors and they missed major areas in vacuuming. In trying to contact the company to schedule further cleanings, I had three different people respond, asking me to submit a customer sheet I had already submitted. When I called to find out when my next cleaning was, I didn't receive an answer and five days later received a confirmation, scheduled four weeks from the initial cleaning (I am on a bi-weekly schedule). Very expensive compared to the (lack of) job they do.... For $225 I was promised a move out cleaning: fridge, stove, oven, baseboards, glass, windows, mop, vacuum, clean cupboards and drawers. With two ladies working for two hours, they were so concerned with going home and doing it fast that they failed to see: baseboards that were not wiped, stove top was not cleaned (it looked like they just ran a wet cloth over it!) floor by the back door wasn't even mopped! My husband cleaned the fridge himself (we both were cleaning same time as these ladies, doing what we were paying them to do, because we are nice people and know its a daunting task) and even with our help they failed to fully complete their end of the job. Everything was a rush for them. I was told they would work for 2.5 hours. They left in two hours. Now this was a small two bedroom, one bath apartment. I used to have a cleaning lady come every week and she did an exemplary job in two hours, so I know what can be accomplished in that timeframe...too bad she moved. My husband and I went to home depot and spent $65 on more oven cleaner, stovetop cleaner, scrubs, sponge, bucket and sprays to finish what they didn't do. Sheesh. Do yourself a favor: hire a few friends to help you clean. At least they will do a good job and care about the effort, and your money is going to a better place. read more

STAY AWAY!!!!! If I could leave a -5 star review I would. For over a month we attempted to have services started at our business. Finally, we scheduled an appointment for 9am on a Friday, even though we had requested 7am on a Monday. At 9:50am on the Friday they were supposed to start when I called and spoke to Anita to find out why they were not yet at our business I was told "this isn't going to work, I am cancelling your appointment". We waited 2 weeks to have them clean and did not hire another company that could do it sooner because we had an appointment scheduled with BA. I paid an employee to come in on their day off to be at the business when they showed up on their FIRST visit. They could not even make it to their FIRST appointment with us and when called on it Anita acted like a 10 year old girl and took her toys and went home. Updating my review: Anita emailed me back and sent out another team. The ladies were very gentle and respectful towards my things. Bottom line I would use this team again. I have left a message with Anita to schedule another clean up, not heard from her yet. I needed my house cleaning, looked on Yelp and found a company, unfortunately they did not cover my area and the lady recommended BA cleaners. After a polite conversation with Anita we agreed on a date and time and cost a deep clean. Three cleaners came to my house. I was very polite with them and offered them water, tea and coffee and told them to them to help themselves to water when they needed. I also helped wash the dishes and pans. UNFORTUNATELY THIS WAS NOT A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR A NUMBER OF REASONS. Kitchen floor was not cleaned at all, when asked I was told that there was no mop and that next time she will bring a different cleaning solution and a mop. I have since then had to clean it myself. Kitchen garbage can was not emptied/taken out. I was told that the company provides all the cleaning products. My cleaning supplies were used without asking me, since then I have had to get some because the cleaner had emptied it. Things were not put back in its place after being moved to clean; I had to go round to sort this out. My blinds were treated VERY ROUGH and the strings have become loose, some of the individual bars of the blinds were turned upside down and left there for me to deal with. After all the rough treatment of the blinds they were NOT even dusted properly as there was dust left on most of them. Bathroom tub was not cleaned properly, there was soap left on and not rinsed properly, I had to ask them to go over so many things that were overlooked which they did very reluctantly and not thoroughly. Again things were not put back in its place. Carpet was not vacuumed properly, when I addressed this I was told that the vacuum cleaner is not very good and they had to use mine. The stairs were re vacuumed (using their vacuum cleaner) and were still not cleaned properly. When I pointed out that in one of the bedrooms that something was not dusted, I was told it was the sun that reflected on it, she did dust it and yes there was a difference after that although the sun was still reflecting. There were 2 posters leaning against the bed the cleaner had picked them up and tossed them aside, my daughter was very upset. Master bedroom - one side of the base board was not dusted, nor was one of the windows sills, the shutters were never opened to do any kind of cleaning. I left three voice messages to let Anita know of my experience, I did not hear from her, I emailed Anita on 9/29 Thursday the day after the cleaning, I got an email from Anita stating that their phones were down and email was the best way to communicate. I sent a detailed email stating what was not satisfactory and left another VM. Two days later Anita emailed me back to say that she will speak with the team and will get back to me that was on 10/4. I left numerous VM and emailed her on the 10/6. The next day, , I got an email with Anita apologizing that she had a sick toddler and that she will speak with the team and get back to me on the same day. No reply, I emailed her the next day and I got an email stating that the cleaners felt that they did the best they could esp. the bath tub. She also mentioned that they DO NOT GIVE ANY REFUNDS and will be happy to send a different team at no charge. I emailed her and requested that we schedule this ASAP. This was on 10/9. I left her another VM on 10/10, no reply. It is 10/11 today no email, no phone calls. I have been extremely patient throughout; I do not have the time to write reviews, however, I feel that no one should have to deal with this kind of service. The cleaners came to my house two weeks ago 9/28, it is 10/11 today, after paying $285 + gratuity, this is still not resolved. I don't think Anita has any intentions to get to the bottom of this. She has her money and that is the only thing that they care about. Maybe this is why they ask for cash and do not accept checks; I was told that many of the checks bounce. I WONDER WHY! My things around the house were NOT RESPECTED at all and were left out of place and the JOB WAS RUSHED. STAY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE EXPENSIVE, THEY DO NOT DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY WILL, MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE AND THE CLEANERS DO NOT RESPECT YOUR THINGS. read more

They are not worth the high price. I was moving into a house and I wanted it cleaned top to bottom before I moved in. I had to micro-manage the two-women crew because they were disorganized and didn't clean well. I specifically told them to clean the inside of all appliances when they arrived and they neglected to do it. I had to ask them to do it when they were trying to leave. They didn't want to clean the wall sconces and I had to ask them to clean the bath tub to which they replied that they "looked clean" so they didn't think they had to clean them. The amount of time I had to spend following them around to make sure they were actually cleaning wasn't worth the money I paid them. I could have and did a better job myself. The whole point of hiring them was to save me time that I desperately needed during my hectic move. Would never hire them again! read more

Anita, your ladies did a fantastic job yet again today at our new home! It was so wonderful to come home just now from a long day at work and the house smells great and everything is so clean! I was almost in tears. I hired Anita's team for a 'move out' at our last home after our move and I could not believe what a through job they did. It was like a miracle. You know when all the paintings are off the walls and the furniture is gone - there is a lot of dust left underneath. When Anita's ladies were done, the house looked ready to move in. Everything looks great, nice and clean, and they even cleaned things I told them they didn't need to worry about, which saved me some time later. We had BA come in for a move out clean. The ladies they sent were quick and efficient. Even though we weren't 100% prepared for them upon their arrival, they were so nice and just started cleaning where they could. Once we had everything moved out of their way, they worked hard to catch up on time and did a great job.
