This has become the worst service ever. Had used them for almost 5 years now. Their scheduling service has deteriorated completely. The customer service is very rude on the phone and on text. Today the cleaner came 2 hours later than the scheduled time and spent 1 hour on a bathroom and then complained that we were rude and followed her around when no one even talked to her. Pathetic service. All the cleaner did was texting and partially cleaning the bathroom. Pictures after 1 hour cleaning and complaining are here. We had to ask the cleaner to leave for lack of honesty and being so slow. If she was doing 1 bathroom for 1 hour then she would have been here all day long. On top of this they keep calling and texting from random numbers like a scam company. Very very surprising how they can afford such rude service during these times! read more

Pros: On time, good communication, the cleaning people are good people. Cons: the website seemed like a pro to begin with, but it seemed like it never helped when I needed it. You HAVE to give your credit card, even if you want to pay cash. Overall, I would say the value just wasn't there. We used them a few times and it felt like they did not clean the amount that I paid. I do all my dishes, pick up my junk, so they just do the cleaning but the cleaning seemed like such basic wipe downs that it wasn't worth the money. With other cleaners, they either helped with all the dishes and junk OR they would do deep cleans if I had the junk picked up. To still be finding crumbs, spots, grime, it felt like my kids could have done the same basic wipe down. read more

Let's just say Anita goes beyond. I have used BA cleaning twice now, both move out cleanings. The first time I was very pleased by the results- I ended up wanting to book for regular cleaning at my new house but had some issues scheduling... that was a process that could have been improved on and Anita was very interested in my concerns and proactive to fix them... I was a feisty prego lady and she handled me well. So when it came time to move out again I said you know, let's give it a shot because the quality of cleaning was EXCELLENT. they arrived on time... cleaned the entire home... I was moving and had to get on the road to Washington state so left them with a hide a way key and had asked Anita if she could send pictures. They did exactly as told and I received pictures of every room. It looked great and the landlord concurred. He is a strict landlord too. I expected him to pick it apart but he said the rental looked great. The carpet cleaner even took pictures too. I am so thankful for Anita-- she is able to communicate via text which is so helpful and reassured me throughout the whole process even when I couldn't be there. I believe anita really cares about her customers and every issue she improves on. I am thankful I found her and wish she was in the Seattle area! Received a quote to complete a move-in clean that would require 6-8 hrs, so I called and asked the customer service rep. if it only took 4 hours, would I still be billed for 6-8, and I couldn't get a straight answer. Lady was rude and couldn't explain their service billing... come to find out it was the owner. Don't waste your time with these folks. read more

I booked them for a move in cleaning. I expressed on the line that the house was recently renovated and needed a deep clean. They said they provided the service but they only do a very shallow surface cleaning. After making my reservation I read the yelp reviews. I could tell this was going to be a bad project from the reviews, so I tried to cancel. I called 2 days before my appointment to cancel and they told me they could not cancel right now and would call me back. I got called back the next day and when I asked to cancel they told me it would be $360 to cancel because it was less than 2 days from the appointment (I wonder whose fault that is?). Essentially, they forced their business on me. I thought we live in a society where no means no, but I guess that doesn't apply to all domains. It certainly doesn't apply to cleaners forcing themselves on you. After the project, I am regretting not paying them the $360 cancellation fee and going with a better service. They left trash all over the place, did very poor dusting work, and left me a pube in the toilet (seasons greetings). If I had known things would be this bad, I would have paid the $360 cancellation. In fact I'd happily pay them $360 to promise never to clean my house again. By the way, you can read Anita's response below but it's full of lies. They never offered to come back and correct the things I mentioned, and I never refused. If you're reading this, do yourself and scrutinize the immaturity if Anita's tone and response. That should be sufficient to deter you from making the same mistake I did. read more

This company has met my expectations despite my initial concerns. BA House Cleaning is better than the average cleaning lady you'll find on Craigslist. Prices are a little higher but I rather hire a company that has good reputation. That being said, I was a little disappointed with the requests to write a five star review on Yelp. Just so that you understand me Anita: I liked your company and the cleaning lady you sent out, but I did not feel like writing a review. We got lucky and contacted BA House Cleaning and couldn't have been more happy with the results. After three years of accumulated grime, it was time for a deep cleaning. Anita confirmed our appointment and her cleaners actually arrived an hour early and were ready to get started. They wasted no time in attacking the dirt, grime, and dust and gave the home just what it needed. The cleaners did a fantastic job. All of the windows, mirrors, counters, bath/showers, floors, and stovetop, were spotless. I couldn't believe my eyes! They even agreed to sweep and clean the garage floors where were quite a mess. Needless to say, they did a fantastic job and delivered on their promise to leave you satisfied with the results. I had been very excited to have found a company who offered a Yelp Deal AND had such great reviews. I wanted to apply the Yelp Deal towards "move-out cleaning" costs but after purchasing the deal I learned that the company has exceptions as to when the Yelp Deal may be applied. As no changes have been made to the way the Deal is described, I do recommend that anyone who wants to purchase the Yelp Deal should first contact the business for clarification to reduce the stress and disappointment factor. I know I won't be "trigger happy" when making a purchase next time. I give this experience three stars because the one lady the company sent to do a "move out cleaning" worked very hard to do all she did. I gave the worker a tip for her hard work even though I saw that the downstairs baseboards were virtually untouched. When asked for feedback, I mentioned the dirty baseboards and they did offer to go back and do them but I had a tight deadline and had already taken care of it myself. The reason for a Yelp Deal, I'm thinking, is to introduce customers to your business. I had explained that I was moving less than five miles but there was no exception to be made on the (unwritten) policy. Upon my request, Yelp quickly refunded my purchase. read more

Move-in cleaning was done so well! Responsive, and responsible! Proactive and professional! I called them from across the country, hoping for next-day cleaning. Our previous tenants had been well-meaning but a bunch of party guys. BA House Cleaning deployed a team of very smart, fast-working cleaners who dealt with tripped circuit breakers, washing and putting out our bed and bath linens, general mess, and much more. They kept in close touch with us and did a great job, even providing "after" pictures. I asked for high-touch, highly flexible expertise, said that I'd be willing to pay for more to get more. They did that, and they did not take advantage of me either - an item on their estimate that could not be completed was deducted from the final invoice, without my needing to request this.
