They pulled a bait and switch where the Jeep was listed for $24k but when they brought me the financing paperwork they added $7k in fees BEFORE tax/dmv. When I said I didnt want the gap ins, theft fee, or warranty the finance guy lost his mind and went full aggro on me. It is not only illegal to sell a vehicle for more than it is listed for (with "non removable items") but it makes a customer feel scammed. $31k for a Jeep with 70k miles is crazytown. I sadly do not recommend Jims for their unethical practices.

He even admitted his mechanic had worked on the car before selling it, yet still wouldn't help, trade, or offer any solution. If ted is a man of God he would do the right thing. I completely understand that used cars can have issues, but this isn't a minor problem, it's dangerous, and the car was already overpriced. The lack of honesty, empathy, and basic professionalism is shocking. If you value safety and respect, stay far away from this place.It's disappointing to see this kind of response instead of accountability. The truth is the car I purchased from you turned out to be a lemon. It's also clear YOUR mechanic Fernando wasn't interested in providing an honest evaluation, makes me believe he's in cahoots with you. I gave you a chance to make things right and you were rude and started yelling. I have no reason to leave a dishonest review only to warn others of my experience so they don't end up in the same situation.

I visited the next day and after a test drive where he patiently let me go on the 710 and 405 freeways to test the vehicle, I bought it for exactly the price he quoted. He is a man of his word. Note - if you are looking for a video of the vehicle or the CarFax, I found the information spread out on their Facebook page (the video) and their Offer Up page (the CarFax report). Ted told me he did the rear brakes. When I took it to my mechanic for a reconditioning -- doing maintenance and replacing items on a high mileage vehicle -- my mechanic said the rear brakes were done, just like Ted said.
