I go into Ste A asked the girl at the counter if there's a water fountain, she says No, I asked if I can get water and she says No. I ended up walking back outside in the high heat to Suite B and ask for water and they give me a bottle of water. I'm upset the girl in Ste A denied me water when I'm dying of thirst from the high heat and feeling faint and dizzy. I call and speak to the Office Mgr Vanessa, she confirms there is no water fountain or water dispenser for patients in the waiting room but if you ask for water they will go to their breakroom and get you a cup. Except for today when I asked for water I was denied. Vanessa said that Ste B gave me a bottle of water from their employee stash. Denying water during extreme heat (95°F) should be a crime and refusing to provide water when a person is experiencing heat-related symptoms (dizziness, nausea, fainting) can escalate into heat exhaustion or heat stroke.

MY daughter put it very well when she said these Dr's help you get your life back & it actually helped her family, because now she could be the Mom she needed to be. I have been coming to Dr. Uppal since 2012 and I think he is an amazing doctor. He did everything…read morehe could for me so that I did not have to go through surgery which is a rare find because most doctors would just rush to surgery for the money. After exhausting all options, I did have to have surgery and he was very supportive, discussed all potential problems as well as benefits that came with it since I have a young child. He also let me know if I ever had any problems with the hardware to let him know and we could discuss that down the road. Two years later I ended up having the hardware removed and again doctor Uppal was great. He checked up on me after the surgery, again not something most doctors do, it is usually put off on someone else. When it comes to medication he is always looking out for me and making sure that I am not getting hooked on opioids but that I am still comfortable in my daily life. I appreciate this because again he could just toss meds at me and send me on my way to speed things up but he doesn't because he actually cares about his patients. As far as the comment regarding a personal phone call, stuff happens and when you are not just a doctor, but a person with other obligations that need to be taken care of then sometimes people have to accept that and wait a little bit. Even if I had to wait a couple hours in the waiting room again for a non med refill day due to needing another surgery from this man, it would be worth the wait! I highly recommend Dr. Uppal!!

Dr. Doverany took ample time to explain our case and help develop a long term corrective treatment plan. We participated in the 5 day scoliosis boot camp and were very pleased with the outcome. Our daughter's curve has been reduced from 17 degrees down to 7. We have a very clear home treatment plan (developed by Dr. Doverany) to maintain the improvement and we will be back in 3 months to follow up on progress. In addition to our daughter's treatment it was very educational for my wife and I. We learned a lot about the way the spine reacts and responds to what the brain is telling it to do. I believe God designed and crafted our bodies in a unique and wonderful way to adapt to external circumstances. I've been seeing Dr. Chen for over a year as my Dr. was not comfortable prescribing any pain medication even though I have been on it for over 19 years. My last appointment was in December. I was supposed to have one in Jan 26th, however I was called and told that I would not be able to get one until March so they gave me a refill till then. April comes and no appointments. I called twice to let them know I hadn't been seen, and my medications were nearly depleted. I was told that they best they could do was give me an appointment July 15th. I explained that one of my medications side effects was a mood booster, and that I have been warned multiple times, by multiple doctors not to stop it suddenly. Well that didn't matter to the scheduling department. July 15th was the best she would do for me. This staff happily let and my family suffer though the misery of the withdrawal symptoms that led to 2 urgent care and an emergency visit. Again Dr. Chen is amazing. Scheduling staff couldn't give a care if you died.
