10/10 - Outstanding Experience! We were originally planning to have our 2021 BMW X5 serviced at BMW Scottsdale, especially since they were offering a 25% discount on parts and labor for October. Their discounted quote came to $5,461, which covered: Front & Rear Brakes with Rotors Control Arms Alignment They also recommended a fuel injector flush and engine decarbon flush at $273.86 each, and said we needed two rear tires for $1,250.22. Before committing, we decided to get a second opinion and found Babbitt Motor Werks in Scottsdale on October 8th. I spoke with Danny Flynn, who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful right from the start. After giving him our VIN, he reviewed everything BMW recommended and came back with an estimate of around $4,200 -- and he was upfront in telling us we didn't need the injector or decarbon flushes. He also said they'd inspect the tires first before deciding if replacement was necessary. We scheduled for the next morning, and they even went ahead and ordered the parts right away. When we dropped off the car, Jennifer Babbitt checked us in. She was friendly, professional, and efficient. Within a couple hours, she called to confirm everything, go over pricing, and we asked them to also handle the spark plugs (which weren't due until Spring 2026) and replace the wipers. They inspected the tires and confirmed we could safely wait on those -- which we appreciated. The best part? The car was ready THAT SAME AFTERNOON. When we arrived, the X5 was out front waiting for us, the checkout process with Jennifer was smooth and quick, and we were on our way. My car is here now with this great team. I had custom work done in Texas for m57 platform at one of the supposed "best", however car was returned to me with serious problems. (Oil leak, fuel(diesel) leak, boost issue, fuel smells, excess rear soot, check engine light ) The team here so far has been extremely kind in trying to solve what's going on, they took a look at my car and spent time explaining to me while I recorded what potentially really going on at no charge. This shop is unreal. Can't tell you how impressed I am with this facility compared to other experiences I've had in the valley. I was initially planning on only having my rotors/pads and oil changed. I have never written a Yelp review but have read 1000's maybe millions...LOL...ok...a lot. I did read all the reviews I could find on Babbitt Motor Works in Scottsdale. All I needed was to replace a car battery. Simple right, even Pep Boys could do it. NOT. My baby, a 2011 328i convertible is only going to the best I can find...and I found it. Danny the Service Manager is so friendly and knowledgeable. He told me all the in's and out's of a battery for my baby. A BMW does need special care for sure, that is why I got it. After talking to Danny I met Zach, the Certified BMW Master Mechanic. I have to tell you that with all my fears of leaving Wesley (my babies name) with them I knew everything would be ok. Zach told me the whole process of what is involved in a simple battery change. Something they call registering it to the car. OK so I think it's like sending a card to the manufacturer. Nope Zach said he hooks up a computer to the car and tell the cars computer (that controls the charging system) the new specs of the battery being replaced so it knows how to charge the new battery. Pep Boys or Auto Zone would have said HUH!!! Anyway, this is the place to go for the love of my life (don't tell my wife...I like her too). It's that simple. Thanks guys you are the best! read more

I brought a BMW i3 for pre-purchase inspection. People were kind to say, "This is a clean car. There is nothing wrong. You are good to go." It sounded too optimistic, so I took the vehicle to the BMW Chapman. Of course, "the dealer" found all tiny things, including some critical issues, such as the bent of two wheel rims that caused vibration at high speed. Got in my 540i to take my son to a school.....click, click, click. Battery dead!! Got in my wife's car and drove my son to school. While driving called Babbitt Motor Werks and spoke to Jen, asked if they could send someone to my house and change the battery/inspect my 540i. She said sure, but she won't have an available tech til 10am. The tech came over at 10:30am but I was on a conf call and didn't see him. Callled Babbitt and Cameron answered, said he'll send someone over at 1:30pm. 1:30pm comes and there is the tech. Switched out my battery (luckily it was just the battery) and cleaned up/put everything back in trunk. The best customer service!! I continue to be impressed with this company. My engine light went on so I brought my car into Babbitt. They hooked up their scanner and read the codes and determined that it was a thermostat issue. Better yet, they told me that BMW had extended the warranty on that part to 10 years and would replace it for free but I had to take it into a BMW service shop.
