Excellent quick reliable service. Definitely 5 stars. I had car trouble Thursday morning on the way to work. A message kept flickering on my dashboard and I figured the car needed to be checked ASAP. When I arrived at work, I checked the area around me on Yelp and Google and Desertmotive popped up with the absolute best ratings and reviews so I called them and they said to swing by. When I arrived I was immediately greeted by their nice manager, Chad who was very friendly. I shared what was wrong and he immediately took the car in to be checked. Within a few minutes, I was told what was the problem and how much it would cost to fix it as well as how long it'll take. I left my car there because I had to return to work and at exactly the time they said the car would be done, I received a phone call informing me that the car was ready. I picked up the car a little later after I made the payment and I was good to go. This was the most efficient car service I have received in a very long time! I hope I never have car trouble again but if I do, I am so lucky I have an excellent provider right by my office! read more

I dropped my car off at Desertmotive because of a failed clutch. My vehicle wouldn't go into gear so I had to tow it to desertmotive, and upon my arrival one of the technicians came outside and offered to help me push the car into a parking spot. I was able to do it myself but it was nice to see good customer service right away. I didn't make an appointment before hand but they were able to get me in same day and called me the very next day with a quote on labor and parts. The quote was good value with honest labor and parts pricing. They were able to get the parts next day and the labor was done fast! I got my car back in just 3 business days. I was referred to this shop from a colleague I work with. Of course hesitant because it's an auto repair shop. The work done was for my daughter's 2011 Jeep Patriot. We were quoted $600 more for the repairs needed from another shop and a longer wait time. I worked with Chad who was fantastic! Very nice crew. Inspected my vehicle and sent me to the dealer because he informed me that since the issue was part of the recall, the dealer should take care of it. He was right! However, dealing with the dealer is the worst, they first gave me the speech how they fixed the recall but I told them what the fella said at Desert Motive and the carnary at Bill Luke started singing a different tune and 2 weeks later, it's fixed. Once my warranty expires. This will be my go-to shop. read more

This place is solid. Really good oil change price on my F-150 (72$). Wasn't as fast as the other chain places, took about 45 min, but for the price it was worth it. They also did a general inspection on the rest of the engine and fluids. read more

What I liked about the experience was the mechanic Tom let me know that my car had a couple other issues that were minor yet not needing to be fixed at this time but to keep a eye out for them and I would likely would have asked me to get them addressed at my next Oil Change. I absolutely trust Desertmotive! As a single mom needing a reliable car and not wanting to pay for expensive auto repairs, Desertmotive has always come through. I was driving to work today and my mini started making loud noises. I called Tom and he said bring it right in. It turned out to be a $12 part and he fixed it, tested it and I left for work in an hour. They are very dependable and will let you know how long to keep your car. My van almost has 200,000 and they keep it in check. As you can imagine every time there is something wrong with your car it can be very stressful. I can't say enough about the wonderful service Desertmotive provides. I called and spoke to the owner, Susan and made an appointment for my daughter to get her car serviced before the long drive back to South Dakota for the summer. She reassured me that they would take good care of her car and give it a good once over, and that is exactly what they did. Tom looked over the car, changed the oil, and fixed a problem with a noise in the engine (a noise that had gone un-diagnosed at the last place we had it serviced) and he said that it only took him 2 minutes to find it and fix it, so there was no additional charge. You worry about your daughter being so far away from home, and worry about someone taking advantage of the fact that she knows nothing about servicing the car. I'm glad I have someone like Desertmotive that I can depend on if she has trouble with her car in the future, or when she needs the oil and filters changed again next year at school. I'm a new driver with a 2007 car that needed a few repairs. I was so worried that I would get screwed over and tricked so to say by people in the mechanic world but luckily my stepmom told me to go here. Tom is the most up front honest and caring person I've ever dealt with for services of any kind. I have had so many questions and concerns and he has been patient and explained everything to me.
