    Creamy Garlic Pasta-
    Heidi A.

I felt like the service was lacking since the server did forget our order. But other than that, everything was good. I loved my creamy garlic pasta and the complimentary bread. Most of my friends got the meatball and spaghetti because it is the Tuesday special and it was very affordable. I don't care for tomato based so I decided to get something else but that deal is definitely a steal!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice ambiance, the outside patio was beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Excellent service and delicious food. They had $8.99 spaghetti meatball special happening today and many tables had multiple orders of them. We opted for margarita pizza and pasta pomodoro. Both came out hot and delicious. It's our second time to this location and we will be back. Highly recommend!!

Their pepperoni and sausage pizza is outstanding; simple and flavorful.

Went to newly renovated Babbo at 67th Ave and Beardsley. A very much needed expansion and update to a great neighborhood restaurant. We sat at the bar and had great service from Tyler who genuinely enjoys his work. Had the 11inch pizza w sausage and pepperoni. So good as usual.

This place is absolutely amazing. I love the food. The service was great and my tummy is extremely full. I would definitely suggest this place to anybody who is looking for good Italian food. This is a 10 star if I could and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambience is very relaxing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Gnocchi Trio- Babbo's Bowl O' Bolognese- Italian Sausage-

Bread is always fresh, warm, and amazing paired with the oil and vinegar dip. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are fantastic, and the service is always friendly and attentive. Definitely one of my favorite spots for Italian food.

This is a review specifically for our salad pickup experience from here. We ordered a brussels sprout salad, Caesar salad, and salmon mixed greens salad. I absolutely loved the brussels sprout salad because of its crunch and the perfect flavor combination with goat cheese. The sides of bread with a mixed balsamic and oil for dipping were ideal. Portions are bigger than it seems from the container. I ate about half of my salad and finished the rest later that day! Ordering online was seamless. Everything was ready on time. The restaurant was about a third full for dinner when we arrived. Service was polite and pleasant!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We have become regulars and love the remodeled dining experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our favorite bartender, Michela, always remembers us, has our wine delivered promptly, and is efficient and delightful! Every restaurant needs a bartender like her! Kudos!!!!

The decor is a bit dark, but chic & colorful. Our server, Esmerelda, was fantastic: funny, attentive, polite. There was a guy there who seemed to be the Jack of all trades. He brought us our food, I saw him behind the bar, and even bussing tables. He, too, was friendly & smiley. Cocktails: they had a great selection but we went with plain ol' Cokes. That's okay, we'll partake of their boozy drinks when we visit again. Food: parmesan truffle fries were aah-mazing. I even told Esmerelda they should add a pizza with the garlic aioli. The buffalo mozzarella had a bit of a kick to the sauce; we could have used more toasted bread to dip into it. We ordered the heaven and bianca pizzas. The crust was thinner than normal, which I was happy about, and the flavors of both were delicious. Dessert: despite not finishing the appetizers & pizza (no worries, we thoroughly enjoyed the leftovers!), we opted for a gelato flight. It was divine, and hefty samples. You wouldn't think 4 oz was much, but of gelato, it was plenty. We selected chocolate, strawberry, salted caramel, and mango. If you haven't tried Roma 23, I highly recommend it. Even if you don't live close by, it is worth the drive.

When we did manage to get in, we ordered a glass of pinot noir and Pelligrino to drink. The waitress brought out a glass of white wine and insisted this was their pinot noir... even the bartender confirmed. So the staff is NOT wine savvy, I wouldn't trust their recommendations on pairings here either. They didn't have any Pelligrino left, so I ended up getting an arnold palmer. However, when they brought the check out, the Pelligrino was still on the tab and we had to ask them to take it off. We both got pasta, the lasagna and the chicken masala, and a caesar salad. The noodles tasted like it was made in house, which was nice. Chicken was not overly breaded and the sauce was light. The salad had too much cheese but I think some people just like that on their salad. I'm interested to try their pizza at some point in the future, assuming we can make it in time before they close ;)

The food, decor, and ambiance are fantastic. My family and I ate at L'Amore 2 nights in a row, and had we discovered it earlier in our vacation, we would have gone every single night (not kidding). While we've had equally delicious meals at other restaurants (all over the world), we have NEVER experienced such friendly, accommodating and welcoming service as what we received at L'Amore. I said to my husband "this must be what it feels like to be a member of a private club", and he agreed. We have an adult son with autism who will only eat a few dishes at restaurants. I called several restaurants to see if they serve chicken tenders and french fries; ALL of the restaurants we called said no-- until I called L'Amore. When I explained our situation, I was connected to the kitchen, explained our situation, and the chef immediately asked his staff if they had any potatoes to make french fries. (French fries are not on the menu). They said yes, and the chef said they'd be happy to make french fries for our son. When we arrived at L'Amore that evening, the owner/manager came by our table to welcome us. Our server, Sal, could not have been nicer, and addressed our son by his first name all evening. His co-manager assisted our son in accessing his iPad via their WiFi. When we returned the second night, the young male concierge welcomed us by name (even though we hadn't told him our name yet), and both managers visited our table that night. Sal was helpful in navigating the menu, recommended a wine by the glass that is typically only served as a bottle, and was incredibly kind and attentive all evening, without ever being intrusive. My husband and I were so moved by the kindnesses shown to our family. We'll never forget it, and look forward to returning to L'Amore on future vacations. Thank you, L'Amore for rekindling my faith in humanity.

It came with grilled ciabatta, arugula, shaved red onion, and a Calabrian vinaigrette. The burrata was incredibly creamy and paired perfectly with the tomatoes, while the crunchy ciabatta added a wonderful contrast in texture. My husband chose the Sicilian meatballs, which were served over creamy polenta with rustic marinara and grana padano, also a very solid dish. For our entrees, we had the hot honey & smoked prosciutto pizza and the strozzapreti, a pasta dish with herb-roasted chicken, mushroom, spinach, parmesan cream, truffle, and pine nuts). Both were fantastic! The pizza nailed that sweet and savory flavor profile, and the crust was absolutely perfect. The strozzapreti was also delicious -- rich, creamy, and packed with mushroom and truffle flavor. Last time we visited the North Italia Phoenix location, the pasta was a bit too soft and lacked that proper al dente bite, but this time it was cooked flawlessly. Unfortunately, the desserts were a letdown. We tried the hazelnut torta and the tiramisu, but both were overwhelmingly sweet. The tiramisu tasted soggy, like it had been sitting in the fridge for a long time instead of being freshly made, and the chocolate balls on top felt unnecessary and cheapened the dish. The service was also a bit of a mixed bag. Somehow our desserts were brought out before we had even finished our entrees. As a result, the ice cream on top of the hazelnut torta just sat there melting by the time we were ready for it. It made the end of the meal feel rushed, like they were trying to turn the table over quickly.

I ordered the grilled branzino, but it was actually red snapper, which normally wouldn't have been a huge issue, except the vegetables on the side were ice cold, limp, and honestly looked like they came from a frozen packet. It was also a tiny portion -- basically one small piece of cauliflower and one piece of broccoli. The fish itself was tough, overcooked, and honestly just not good. I ended up swapping it for a pasta dish, which was definitely better, but overall the experience was still really disappointing.
