    Alfredo Supremo-

Me and my mom wanted to try something new. We ordered the Alfredo and the wedge salad. Absolutely horrendous, I feel so sick after eating this crap, not only is it oily but tasteless and bland. We've been waiting so long I'm able to write a review and run a 5K run. I will not be back, there was only one server and she was just overwhelmed. Not worth the $$ and menu too big, adding things on like that's going to fix the quality is crazy. Please save your time and money and don't go to babbo. There is no way the bread should have more flavor than the Alfredo.

8/9/25 Party of four, early Diner with friends. Parking 5/5 Arrived just before 5 pm. Lots of Resturant parking including a few by by the door. Atmosphere 5/5 Contemporary modern Italian, tables and booths. Service 5/5 We were quickly greeted by our server Jaylynn. She brought menus, and took our drink orders. Like many of you reading this review, we've returned and ordered our favorite go-to's and almost everyone tonight did just that. This review focuses on my order which was the full Mixed Spring salad and the two meatball appetizer and the excellent service we received from Jaylynn. She never missed an opportunity to check in with us, from refills to dish clearing and dessert offerings. I would ask for her again, as she enjoyed what she was doing, it's been hit and miss here which can make the difference in your experience. Did you have supper or dinner with service that was prompt friendly and un-rushed? Food 5/5 Everyone enjoyed their choices tonight and I love their Spring Mix salad ingredients including the Vinaigrette, each elevating flavors and textures. Our part of dinner for two $56.65 including tip. Eat well with friends-SYOY!

Pete's Pink Fettuccine - note its messy as it was half eaten. Really enjoyed the sauce! Wonderful flavors, the pasta was itself was ok.

It's a good American Italian restaurant. The food is what you expect. I do like the variety of white/cream sauces. The restaurants are always clean, I have found the staff to generally be responsive and friendly. Our server last night was a delight. This is a great place in a pinch if you are craving a pasta dish or a pizza/calzone. Prices are reasonable too.

I used to go to another location of babbo quite often, but I've never been to this one. It looks much smaller than the one I had been to but pretty much the same kind of decor, dark wood tables, some booths, and some regular tables. There was a small bar, but to be honest I didn't take a close look. The girl who's her best was very nice and our food came out quickly. When I got there my friend already had the bread with olive oil and balsamic. The bread really is delicious. We both ordered sandwiches. My friend ordered the spicy chicken sandwich which comes on focaccia, and I ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich on focaccia. My sandwich was just okay, and she said hers was too. The highlight was the zucchini chips on the side. They were delicious! It does look like they're pasta is reasonably priced, but I have to say I have never had pasta at babbo. I've always had sandwiches. Maybe next time.

Creamy Mushroom & Asparagus -tasteless. The majority of the small to go container was pasta.

I ordered to go to pick up a mushroom asparagus with penne pasta. Add chicken for six dollars extra. It came up total for $26. I was craving Italian food so I was excited to get it. When I picked it up, I was so shocked of what I received. It was a small to go container with a bunch of penne pasta, sprinkle it in a couple mushrooms and asparagus. The chicken was tiny for six bucks. I tasted the pasta, and there was no flavor. I couldn't believe. I waited an extra 15 minutes to get bread. This place really let themselves go because I catered before for a wedding and it was fabulous so I was quite disappointed on my meal. I probably won't come here again, unfortunately.

The bread was hot and fresh. The steak panino tasted good, but was a bit skimpy on the steak. The zucca chips were plentiful and tasty. I'd rather hear Italian music than pop/hop for more ambience. The server, while polite didn't smile much. The restaurant itself was very clean, but the men's room floor was sticky.

Love the menu listing the vegetarian options for pizza. Wish they had their pastas and salads listed out too.

Through the years, I'm always impressed with the food quality of Babbo but shocked at the price of some items. You will easily pay the same price as another local Italian eatery but not have a salad included with the meal. This visit, I had the eggplant Parmesan and was shocked the menu had it listed that it was $5.49 to add pasta. For around $18, you'd think it would come with it and can't imagine it coming out with only the two medallions if I hadn't ordered pasta. The price point steers me away from visiting more often. Though the prices do weigh on not giving it a higher rating (5 stars), the ambiance of the restaurant and the service do bring up this review as I've never had a bad experience. They always been attentive whether I am here by my lonesome or with a larger group. The server this visit did a great job reviewing the vegetarian options on the menu and I truly appreciated it!

Usually one of my favorite spots to eat, but today the service was extremely slow. Food was just average. Could just be a bad day.

A trendy, upscale"ish" restaurant on the east side? Finally! Loved the food, loved the decor. Now just needs some a clientele under 60 ;')

New area so it's super busy; however, they handled the rush very well. The food was great. Try the fried ravioli.

Ultimately I chose the Mesa store because it was the original and I wanted to see Mesa. We started with a basic garlic cheese bread appetizer and it was great. The calamari was tempting but we'll save that for next time. Wife ordered fettuccine alfredo with shrimp and I ordered the usual Chicken Parmesan which came with a side of pasta. It was actually a harder choice than usual because I walked thru the restaurant before I ordered and so many dishes looked good, as did the pizza. But I went with the usual. Let's start with the wife, which truly speaks to the five stars because she frankly doesn't love Italian food. She eats it when I beg. And she loved it. She actually proactively mentioned she wanted to go back. That's like 7 stars right there it's so abnormal. I agree with her. The chicken parm was fantastic. Amazing. To top it off, our server was great and when I mentioned we were new to the area and it was our first trip she was so nice telling us the history of the original and the other stores, and the manager later stopped by to continue that conversation as the server told her we were new. I mentioned that I live closer to the Scottsdale store, and she said it's the same food and I'll like it just as much. I'll have a hard time deciding which shop to return to - it might be worth the drive to the original just for the ambiance, but I'll give the other a try soon because it was just that good! 5 stars. Or 7 if you ask my wife.

The menu was large, with tons of classic Italian options. Pastas, entrees, seafood - the classics. I tried the Chicken Parm sandwich. It's small! Requested peppers on top and they were barely cooked. I tried others dishes amongst our party and everything was just okay IMO. Limited drink menu and no draft beers available either. It's not a large space, yet the service was very slow. We had to flag our server multiple times. Additionally, the kitchen took a very long time. Maybe it was just an off night, but a lot of waiting. I really enjoyed the ambiance inside. A very homey feel to the whole place. Reminded me of restaurants growing up. I would give it another shot and try other dishes off the menu. But overall, didn't meet my expectations.
